The barbacoa was by far my favorite! It was flavorful and tender! I also thought their al pastor was really good, which says a lot because I feel like most places struggle to get that flavor right. I wasn't as much of a fan of the fajita meat (it came as little steak bites, which was different), though my husband actually liked it. Just a heads up for anyone visiting: make sure you bring cash!

(That's how it comes standard) don't get me wrong it's definitely a lot going on from the flavors and the messiness of the dog, but the flavors balance out very well and the all beef hot dog is delicious. There's no spice from the mayo or hot sauce so if you don't like spice you'll be fine. I also tried their bulgogi fries which came with bulgogi meat, jalepenos, cheese and cilantro. My first reaction was it was delicious but it wouldn't be something I would get again, but after I kept eating it I realized this is actually really good and now when I go back I'll definitely try it again. Overall I definitely recommend this place to visitors or even locals

A good amount of beef on a well toasted bread and the coleslaw was the perfect balance to the poboy. The overall portion was quite big for me to finish. The food came out pretty fast although I was the first one in line. The guy who took my order and also made the food was friendly. Overall, a quick and easy lunch. I don't remember the cost exactly but I remember thinking it was fair, especially considering how outrageous event pricing can get on refreshments. The Brazilian Limeade was perfect. The weather was cool but it could get a little warm in the sun, making the limeade very refreshing. It was very mellow, not too sweet, and not too tart. The Gaucho Fries were exactly what we wanted, some very tasty loaded fries with a Brazilian twist. All in all, if you are hungry and happen to stumble across this food truck, definitely check it out!

Was advertised they'd be at an art show at Hardy & Nance studios from 5-9 pm. They left sometime before or around 6pm without even speaking to any of the organizers of the event. They missed out the large crowd of 500+ artists and patrons that asked about the food truck all night long. Funny that their cover photo on Facebook shows uncle Sam stating "I Want Food" because that's exactly what the patrons were saying. Completely unprofessional and disappointing. There is actually not much to say about this place. It's great! All the more so the majority of 5 star reviews have already read my mind. I just want to confirm that Foreign Policy Food Truck offers amazingly delicious food! I don't know if there are many food trucks in town, but I tried one, which is near by the Museum of Fine Arts. When I am in the area I always order donut burger or The Korean fries, sometimes-both. I have heard many great things about the bunuelos and next time that's what I'll get! read more

The wings were excellent, having meat that was tender, moist, and easily came off the bone. I was particularly impressed with the Cravin' It sauce which is a mixture of several different sauces that imparts a delightfully unique flavor. The deep fried boudin was not quite as good as the wings or as other kinds of boudin I've found in Houston but was still reasonably tasty. The only drawbacks to the experience were the homeless man who hassled me for money as I was placing and waiting on my order as well as the fact that they were out of drinks (The menu shows them serving iced tea and homemade lemonade). The credit card system was also down at the time, but I was able to pay using CashApp, so it wasn't a problem. Such issues were really relatively minor, though, and given the quality of the food and friendliness of the service, will not keep me from returning to try some of the other menu items.
