on 3/14/14 I had a Korean taco and a Greek taco and a side of fries. Both tacos were very good, but the advertised "homemade tortillas" seemed more like bought precocinada and not completely warmed through, as they were a little doughy. The fries (with side of tzaziki sauce) were perfectly crispy and delicious...but the 45 minute wait for food after ordering and paying is a little unreasonable for my lunch hour. No matter how good, my boss won't care. AND our order was bumped by some "reporter" taking pics, doing a "review" and "interview" during a busy lunch hour. wow. my suggestion is either they get more help or patrons should visit with a lot of time to donate to standing in a parking lot staring at their truck while waiting for their order of deliciousness. ...and don't go while overly hungry as your mood will surely sour while waiting. the order lady was unapologetic about having a lot of orders (there weren't THAT many people outside waiting) but she owned that status #likeaboss read more

My job booked this truck to come out during lunch hours and I looked forward to Friday. Well they did not disappoint. I got the Greek salad and the Korean fries. It was AWESOME!!! Even when my fries got cold they were crunchy. Loved the way they just put everything together. We've had plenty of food trucks come out and they are one of my favorite food trucks. I tried this truck for the first time when it stopped for lunch at hour office last Wednesday. My experience was not a good one. I expected the line and wait time to be long as it was lunch hour and everyone was trying to get their lunch too. I ordered the Korean Chicken Basket, after waiting in line for 40 minutes and other people who ordered after me receive their food first, I finally received my food. When I took a bite of the chicken the breading WAS SO HARD and there was hardly ANY MEAT. The chicken was OVER FRIED! I don't mind waiting in line for food but I expect it to be eatable. The only thing was good were the fries and the toppings it came with. This meal was not worth $10+tip. I'm not sure if I would attempt to eat from here again even though I did love the fries. read more

Best tacos I've had from a food truck. I love it when people are willing to take chances. Only thing is I'm not a fan of the doughnut burger it feels unbalanced. I didn't catch the truck chef's name but he was wonderful, gave me time to check in to Yelp so we could get a discount on fries. I paid $14.95 for a Mexican Burger today. What a mistake. The ground pork was seasoned okay and the bun was the right size, but I mean $14.95? No sides, just a burger made with ground pork and big wide circular tough onions and some chunks of green pepper and cilantro. WAY overpriced! read more

We wanted to try this food truck after reading the great reviews. After not finding it downtown, we called and found out they were over by the Museum of Fine Arts for the day. The person who answered the phone was kind enough to text the address of exactly where they were. The food: Amazing!!! We ordered the Korean fries and donut burger to share - both were excellent! We also tried the bunuelos that the guys threw in with our order - this was the first time I've tried these and they were delicious. Thank you for having us try them! The employees: Could not have been nicer! (Wish I had gotten their names - sorry). Answered all of our questions and were very efficient in preparing the food. We ate here on Saturday November 5, 16. What a wonderful delight. I do not care for sandwiches, was I ever surprised. I had the Chichen sandwich and Oh my Gosh, step back it is amazing. My sandwich was 2 of my boyfriends hamburger from another truck and same price. It is so amazing I could not believe it. It is a monster. I had to ask him to cut it in half, it is that big. But the sandwich has so much flavor, you have to try it to believe it. You can not go wrong with the food here. FANTASTICALLY AWESOME. read more

I don't know maybe I caught them on a bad night but the wait was quite long, even for a food truck. I tried the Korean Spicy Tenders and they weren't all that. Not much kimchi, there was a bit too much cilantro for my liking, the wait was quite long. We had circled the park, waited in another line and checked out the cistern and still had to wait time we got back. They had also run out of Korean BBQ and had to tell customers (who had already placed their orders) to choose something else. I can understand when you're a popular food truck that these things may happen, however if I had been waiting as long as some customers had, I'd be pretty upset as well. Overall though they were professional and apologetic to everyone for all the inconveniences so for that it's three stars. I'll give them another try and update my experience once I do so. read more

The idea that this place is a fusion is a farce. The burger meat is thin and overly seasoned. The 'fusion' comes because there is a teaspoon of kimchi in the shredded beef portion of the burger. It looks like this: very nice toasted and buttery bread with a thin oddly seasoned meat patty, with chopped beef and kimchi. That said, THE FRIES ARE EFFING GREAT!! THE OWNER IS EFFING AWESOME AND GENEROUS! I don't care for 'fusion' foods and it is poorly done here, but the service and the willingness of the owner to make it how you want it is worth the wait-like training a new lover...give it time and it will work. Give it try. Some places will never give your palate that orgasmic experience that is advertised, but this place MIGHT have potential. read more

This was my first experience with a food truck and I have to say I was very impressed. I ate at here last night at the food truck round up and the atmosphere was pretty cool. I liked the variety and the quirkiness of the dishes (there was a donut burger option - how awesome!) and I ended up having the American Burger for eight bucks. It was savory and delicious and HUGE and I ate the whole thing. Totally worth the money; I'm glad I took a chance and stopped here instead of heading to a chain restaurant. read more

Love this truck. I am too lazy to look up what I got there but it had the word "Texas" in it and was appropriately massive. It was delicious too though. We caught this truck outside of Kung fu tea off of westheimer - a perfect place for it. No better combo than a heart stopping foreign policy burger (i mean that literally - you might want to exercise for a week after one of them), along with the finest boba in town. Make sure to look up their timing though as the truck is only there certain days of the week. The dude who runs the show is friendly too and deserves some serious business, even if he did not make incredible burgers (which he does). read more

I have eaten at this food truck every time I have came to joystix, as they park right in front. The food they serve is always great. I especially like their gyros and fries.
