Came to Forest Hill with my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek after a national chain failed my state inspection for obviously bogus reasons. As a mechanically competent person who does her most of her own car maintenance at home with years of experience on a military flightline, it was obvious they were trying to squeeze $$ out of me. We walked through all the bogus claims from the chain (confirmed passable) and stood together under my car while it was on the lift to look at an actual wheel bearing issue that the chain completely missed. They were able to fix the issue same day at a fraction of the cost the chain quoted me for the non-existent issues - meanwhile I worked peacefully and productively on my laptop in their waiting area. They even let me borrow a car to quickly grab lunch while they worked on my Subaru. Within a few hours, my car was fixed, inspection stickers affixed to my windshield, and I left with peace of mind knowing my car was legal and ready for a long Labor Day weekend road trip. This place is located a little off the beaten path, but worth the drive. The guys there are BMW master techs. They performed the work at a great price and diagnosed some other problems I wanted looked at. When they told me what was wrong I thought it was going to cost me an arm and a leg, I was quoted a very reasonable price. I definitely plan on returning next week to have this work completed. First the people dress professional, are courteous, and you never feel as if any problem or question is to unimportant or dumb to answer kindly. The shop is clean and neat and reflects the quality of work expected from themselves. Brought my 95 M3 to Brian to solve a stalling issue after an auto-to-manual swap, to have the VANOS repaired, and a new differential/driveshaft installed (and a few other odds and ends).
