Clean, bright, friendly with ample parking. Fresh meats for a picnic, bbq or a large family gathering. Salads are exceptionally well prepared! Affordable and meats are cut to order. It's a little bit of my home country on long Island

A must stop place if you like really good quality German meats and groceries. The store is small, but they pack it full of products that you can't find anywhere else in the area. They carry holiday products, beer, household products, breads, pickles, cheeses, etc. But really the best part of the store is the meat counter in the back! Mini hot dogs, landjaeger, wursts, steaks, pork, deli salads and more. The prices are a little on the higher side, but that matches the quality. The best of the best for sure! Make sure you stop here.

Visiting for the first time so we had to buy something! Blood sausage for breakfast

Solid representation of german and other European products. I was happy to see some stuff from growing up! They had a beautiful representation of meats, dry goods, candies, jarred items, salads and more! While we were visiting to scope out the place, we of course had to buy something! We got some blood sausage and german beers. We will be back to stock up on grilling meats!

    Brats, knocks and farmers sausage.

As a true connoisseur, you know that the distance traveled is often a small price to pay for culinary perfection. Making the trek from Brooklyn was a pilgrimage that paid off in every bite. Dining at this establishment is less of a meal and more of a choreographed performance where every ingredient plays its part to perfection. Several dishes merit special mention. The evening began with a Watermelon Salad that redefined refreshment. Each vibrant cube of melon arrived with a crisp, crystalline texture, cleverly balanced by salty flourishes and herbal notes that felt like a cool breeze on a humid evening. It was followed by the Sweet Chilli Shrimp, a dish that struck a delicate chord between fire and honey. The shrimp were plump and oceanic, draped in a glaze that hummed with a sophisticated, creeping heat. Then came the crescendo: the steaks. The Wagyu was an absolute masterclass in decadence, possessing a buttery marble that seemed to dissolve upon contact, leaving behind a rich, lingering umami. In contrast, the Ribeye offered a more rugged, soul-satisfying experience--perfectly charred, deeply flavorful, and dripping with an earthy intensity that only the finest cuts can achieve. To close, the Floating Island and Tiramisu were a dream rendered in sugar and air. Beyond the words, just weightless finale to an otherwise powerful gastronomic journey. With a party of four, the portions were quite generous. We even had leftovers to take home and revisit the exceptional flavors the next day." Whether you are coming from around the corner or making the drive from Brooklyn, IMC delivers a level of hospitality and flavor that makes every mile worth it. Try it - you won't regret the trip. I. The bread for the table was really good, it's served with salt, oil and butter. I ordered a cocktail, they have signature ones as well and wine/beer. We ordered appetizers for the table including the potato croquettes, bacon, and the Wagyu skewers. The potato croquettes had this creamy texture to them. That was really good. The Wagyu skewers had a really good soy sauce to dip in, and the flavor was really good. The bacon they serve is almost like a Canadian bacon. It was OK but not my favorite. For my man, I had the shrimp risotto. I really enjoyed the lemon flavor. My friend ordered the Kobe burger and it was huge. My other friend ordered the ribs and they were absolutely delicious. They looked as good as they tasted. At the end, the staff saying happy birthday and brought out for flavors of sherbet, which was so kind. We had a really good time and the bill wasn't even that bad for the amount of food we got and the great service.

"There's no good BBQ on Long Island," as quoted by Lou of his son, Josh, Founder of Blowin'…read moreSmoke... Until Now. As I craved BBQ for the umpteenth time, I was saddened by my past visits to those Long Island places that claimed bbq but were just neon lights or chain stores or just pure disappointments... and then saw a new place opened just a few months ago that was within striking distance. I couldn't resist - I had to try again... As you drive in, stay vigilant and make the correct turn - you might miss it if you go too fast on Jericho Turnpike. Drive straight down - your reward awaits you on the left. I was greeted by Lou, who runs Prime Time Butcher; he is Father to Josh of Blowin' Smoke. This is a family that knows quality meat - we are talking Generations of Butchers. As I waited for my order, Lou greeted customers that came in by name - they've been there before and he knew exactly what they wanted. (That's always a good sign.) Josh came out to greet me and apologized for the slight delay in my order. I came in on a Tuesday evening, missing the Pastrami days on Wed and Thurs, the Brisket of Fri, Sat, & Sun. So, I did what every other aficionado of BBQ would do - I ordered almost everything else to sample the range of the menu. As I left with my order, Lou asked for my honest appraisal and I promised him I would: Long Island has Good BBQ - and it can be found at Blowin' Smoke. Ask the toughest critics: my teenagers. They DEVOURED everything: pulled pork, St Louis ribs (both sauces), baby back ribs, chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, wings. They looked up and declared this was the best BBQ they've had in NY. And then they asked if we can go back again in the future - oh, yes, we will... My greatest compliment would be this: would I wear a tshirt and hat with the Blowin' Smoke logo on it? The answer is a resounding YES. (I just hope they don't do the stereotypical black color - this place is unlike any other and shouldn't look like everybody else...) Go get yourself some good BBQ at Blowin' Smoke - and make yourself happy that you did.

My husband and I ordered the 1/2 Rack St. Louis Ribs Platter, 1/2 Rack Baby Back Ribs Platter, and 6 piece wings with Sweet & Savory BBQ sauce. My favorites were the wings and the cornbread! The wings were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The cornbread was soft and fluffy and the honey was a nice touch. There was plenty of food to go around and I felt prices were reasonable. I hope they stick around as we haven't been able to find a good bbq place by us! P.S. They are take out only so be sure to place your order 20-30 minutes in advance as they smoke everything on the spot. P.P.S. If you pash cash, there is an additional discount.

I'm open to almost anything so off we went. The restaurant was nice. I liked the decor and that we could see the giant grill. The waiter must have been new he seemed timid, not really explaining much and we got a little confused as how and what to order. We ordered drinks, they took a million years to come out so we were just sitting there drinking water not really sure what was happening. They even came to fill up our waters and completely missed my daughter's empty water glass but left us sitting not knowing what we should be doing. Finally someone came with the bread so we asked if we can go to the salad bar thing in the middle of the restaurant. The salad bar was great! So many different things to pick from! The potato salad, corn, tropical fruit, jicama apple salad were some of my favorites. My daughter only ate from that and I could have as well. My friend and I did the meat thing. It was ok, there was some that were good, a few that were very fatty and forget the pork chop, when the guy started slicing it looked like fat and raw pork. They came around with grilled pineapple that had cinnamon on it. I loved that and also the cheese with the honey, delicious! The side dishes- cheesy bread that dripped oil was a no and the rectangular fried things that looked like potato but weren't potato were chokingly dry but the plantains were sweet and delicious! The drinks were ok, I was expecting to be wowed but wasn't. This place is a clear mix of good and bad but I feel like it should have been on its A game for the price we paid.
