The bread for the table was really good, it's served with salt, oil and butter. I ordered a cocktail, they have signature ones as well and wine/beer. We ordered appetizers for the table including the potato croquettes, bacon, and the Wagyu skewers. The potato croquettes had this creamy texture to them. That was really good. The Wagyu skewers had a really good soy sauce to dip in, and the flavor was really good. The bacon they serve is almost like a Canadian bacon. It was OK but not my favorite. I finally returned for a full dinner on a Sunday for the prix fixe and felt like I was getting served all the leftovers that didn't sell during the week. Server was nice but took forever to even get us water, and our wine pairings weren't served until after the first course was. Watermelon in the salad was overripe, skirt steak had a texture like a dog had already chewed on it. No one at my table really liked their food unfortunately. Been here twice! Last time was on Mother's Day. The dining room was clean and organized especially for such a chaotic day in the restaurant industry! Service was great! They were so accommodating. This place is beautiful, elegant and has amazing food! We went to happy hour here before going to a show at the Paramount. The bar was packed but they gave us a table with the happy hour menu. We were really happy since we though we could only get the menu at the bar. The service was impeccable, and the food, amazing! They also make the most delicious cocktails, which we tried and loved. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the manager, (or owner, not sure) went around to every table asking how everything was. This is the second time we've been to this restaurant, because it's so far from us, but if we lived closer we would be here all the time. Came in for happy hour and the bar was full, so the hostess offered to seat us at a regular table as long as we were finished by 7 PM, which was totally fine. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest downside of our visit. Our waiter's vibe felt off from the start, and we felt somewhat neglected throughout the meal. At first, I thought it might be because we were there for happy hour, but it seemed to be more about the server than anything else. As for the food, the Thai calamari was flavorful but got soggy pretty quickly . I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side. The wings were good but could've used more sauce. The wagyu skirt steak tacos were excellent and definitely a standout. Drink wise, the smoked mezcal margarita was just okay and a bit sour for my taste. My partner ordered the toasted coconut martini, and even though I'm not usually a martini fan, the crunchy coconut rim made it really enjoyable. When to try IMC'S brunch for my wife's birthday and had mixed results. Our waitress was awesome. Very attentive and corrected kitchen mistakes. The pastry basket was warm and fresh. The brunch burger was the best my wife said she had. My daughter liked the Mac and cheese, and I had the strip steak with eggs and potatoes, along with duck bacon. Every was delicious. It was nicely dimmed inside and felt romantic. Unfortunately there were issues. My son's pasta came out with sauce on it when the waitress put down plain with sauce on the side. My potatoes were cold and old, so she brought a fresh batch out. The strip steak was delicious however it was very thin and no way 12 oz as advertised. They did bring a free ice cream for my wife. Overall it was nice experience, however the food quality could use some improvement. The staff there were super friendly; very attentive and when an appetizer came out cold, they immediately apologized and replaced it. Now to the food, where this place unfortunately loses points. The appetizers were overall solid. However, the entrees are where they falter. We got wagyu steaks, lamb chops, chicken, etc.; essentially a variety of meats. We decided to spend Mother's Day at IMC in Huntington and honestly, it was a great call. The whole crew came out my brother and his girl, my wife, mom, dad so we had a full table ready to eat and celebrate. Right off the bat, the vibes were solid. Drinks hit the table early my wife had their sangria (light, fruity, and dangerously good), I went classic with a vodka soda, and my mom went all in on the Mother's Day special cocktail, which had her smiling from ear to ear. They start you off with warm, fresh bread that's so good it's hard not to fill up before the apps. It comes with olive oil, balsamic, unsalted butter, and coarse salt on the side, small touch, but it really makes a difference. For appetizers, we went with the Thai chili calamari (crispy with just the right amount of kick) and baked clams that had that perfect garlicky-buttery flavor going on. Main course was a serious showstopper. My wife and I shared the 28-day aged porterhouse perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My parents went with the ribeye, cooked exactly to their liking, and they were more than happy. My Brother and his Girlfriend both got the waygu skirt steak that was just amazing and it literally melted in your mouth.. just amazing. We rounded it all out with sides of truffle fries (crispy and rich), Brussels sprouts (caramelized beautifully), and broccoli rabe for a little green on the table. All in all, IMC nailed it. Another great dinner last night. We had been seated when we first arrived at a table next to a party of 20 that had not yet come for what looked like what was to be a 30th birthday celebration. After we received our bread and drinks a woman came over to us and asked if we would like to move to a table away from what was sure to be noisy. She said she had a very nice table that was just paying the check. Both my wife and I thought it very nice to notice that we would be uncomfortable there and that the restaurant took the initiative to see if we wished to move. After moving our order was taken, apps arrived in a timely manner, we had the octopus and meatball both delicious, (although I did find the meatball to be on the edge of too salty but it was tasty and very fluffy). I had Beef Wellington as my main which was a special and my wife had as she usually does here a filet which is so flavorful. How do I even start a review on this amazing place? Words cannot describe enough how much I LOVE coming to IMC. Living in NYC I've been fortunate enough to sample some of the best of the best , yet IMC is a cut above the rest and truly one of the hidden gems in the region!!! The ambiance and vibes are amazing! The service is top tier! And the food and drinks are out of this world (my faves are the the thai calamari, gargonzola crusted steak, and toasted coconut martini. Trust... they're as delicious as they sound)! All of the staff are super sweet and attentive. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30PM to try out their Happy Hour menu (3-6PM on Saturdays, 4-7PM Sun-Fri). Technically, you can only order items from the Happy Hour menu if you're seated at the bar, but there were no seats left when we arrived. Luckily the hostess said if we sat at one of the 2 bartop tables next to the bar, we could still order Happy Hour menu items. I got the blood orange martini to start and my boyfriend ordered a Stella, but they were out so he settled for a Pilsner instead. The martini was delicious and well-priced at $10, though not as strong as most cocktails I've had at other restaurants (which was perfectly fine with me). We were served a complimentary bread basket; I'm not sure if this is also the case for bar seating, or if it was because we were at a table. Either way, we enjoyed the bread. For food, we ordered from the Bar Bites portion of the Happy Hour menu: -Small watermelon salad ($5) - great and refreshing dish! I've never had yellow watermelon before, so that was cool -Wagyu meatballs ($8) - the first bite was delicious and I was impressed, but it was SOO salty; I warned my boyfriend and made sure to alternate sips of my cocktail with water, so as not to get a salt headache later. However, the texture WAS great - very tender, and I enjoyed the dish overall. Just wished they went a little easier on the teriyaki sauce -Pork belly sliders ($10) - pork belly was well cooked, good portions; no complaints! Ambiance: Given that the bar area was completely full, it did get kind of loud; the rest of the restaurant was still pretty empty by the time we left at 5:15PM, since everyone wanted to take advantage of the Happy Hour deal. My family and I recently visited IMC Restaurant & Bar to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. This has always been one of her favorite restaurants, so we made a reservation for a party of 14 to celebrate the occasion. Unfortunately, the service we received that evening was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, our waiter Kevin seemed unhappy to be serving our table. When I introduced myself as the host and politely asked if it would be possible to split the bill into three checks, he said "no, they don't do that here" and walked away visibly irritated without offering any explanation. We also had an ongoing issue with a drink order. A Long Island Iced Tea was requested with soda only (no sour mix), yet it came out incorrect multiple times. Even after asking for it to be remade three different times and involving the manager, the drink still came back wrong. Eventually we asked for it to simply be removed from the bill and ordered a Coke instead. What made the experience even more frustrating was the attitude we encountered throughout the evening and the lack of follow-up from management after the issue was raised. Kevin appeared annoyed the entire night, which made what should have been a special celebration feel uncomfortable. Our bill for the evening was over $1,000, and unfortunately the service we received did not reflect the level of hospitality you would expect for that type of dining experience. Because of the size of our group, a gratuity was automatically added, so we did not have the option to adjust the tip based on the service. Given the attitude and issues throughout the night, it certainly did not feel earned. We've been coming to this restaurant for years and have always enjoyed it, which is why this experience was so surprising and disappointing -- especially while celebrating such an important milestone for our daughter. I hope management takes the time to look into what happened that evening. Restaurants like this usually take pride in their service, and based on our past experiences, I would like to believe this was an exception rather than the norm. read more

When I arrived the lady at the door was nice she let me pick my own seat. From me sitting down to leaving the whole staff was very pleasant the whole night and informative of the menu. I eat very little. I ordered a 10oz filet mignon and mashed potatoes which were both delicious by the way. It came with a savory sauce. The drinks are tasty and not watered down. We started with the bacon which is two slices, it was excellent, and also the Thai flavored shrimp, also was very good. The t-bone was cooked perfectly and was quality meat. Our server Richard recommended the hangar steak and it was delicious. But the watermelon and arugula salad was something special. But what really blew me away was the mussels.
