Picked up a 22 hour countdown kitchen timer here to use as an alarm clock when I travel to unplug from my smart phone to go analog a bit like pen and paper turned to keyboard rhythm on my lap top for this review. Unfortunately no Yelp in Costa Rica so this is likely my last review until the cold San Franciscan June Summer time cometh. I need everything and nothing from here, all at the same time. I went to get buffet plates, and found that they were much more expensive than I had imagined. However, the toothpicks! The sugar dusters! The old timey lazy susans! The larger than your head strainers! You could go crazy in there, and the prices for most things are not bad. Go and have fun looking up and down the aisles. You may walk out with a carton of take-out boxes. A Japanese mandoline. A set of barware just like that at your favorite watering hole. This is a great place to shop for your restaurant needs, the store is nicely organized and the employees are more than happy to assist you. The main reason for this review is the Customer Service that I had received from Tanya today, I called in to ask for a copy of the receipt for a commercial deep fryer that I purchased from them last year and Tanya emailed the receipt twice to me within minutes of my call. So it was kinda hard to see their sign coming off cesar chavez. I came to the area looking to replace some of our kitchen pots/pans. We found this place on google and decided to give them a try. (I know RD is across the street) Surprisingly found what we needed and couple larger sizes we were planning to make use of. We got 20% off our purchase for being first time customers! Pretty awesome! Well except not on special order equipments, but they do free delivery...... Great staff and customer service, walking us out and helping us load our car up. I don't go often to give them a review. My review is for the delivery team. My sales rep or whatever you want to call, Evelyn. Always helpful and nice. I'm not always the most easy going person but she is always very timely. Which helps me, even though I don't give her the deserved credit. I forget, and she remembers from my orders to items I need. Employees like her are hard to come by. The drivers are nice and they are not perfect, but they try. It is more than I can say about other companies I order or used to order from.
