Used to be good, but the 2 owners no longer care. Even with an appointment, you may come in and wait 25 minutes with no apology or explanation. Salon is not kept clean and even a basic pedicure was substandard. Towels used were not even clean. read more

I requested a pink and white acrylic manicure, which they advertise as a service. They simply apply the pink powder and then use white gel paint for the tip. The nail is not shaped properly either. When I asked about the service, he stated that they don't use the powder and would not adjust the cost given the service was not a pink and white manicure. I decided to check out this nail salon since it was close to my house. They were very friendly and professional. The strange thing was that it was a Saturday and there was only two people working, which made the wait time long. I originally went in to get dip but decided to get white French tip because it looks more professional. He did a fabulous job but within a few days they were chipped and by a week it looked like it had been a month. He only put one coat on. I most likely won't return. read more

Do not go there. These people are not nice at all. I called a week ahead and made an appointment. When I got there, the little Asian guy who always waited on me, and who I always gave a $20 tip to, said he couldn't find my appointment. They asked me if I wanted to rescedule. It was one of the coldest days of the year, and I didn't want to go home and come back. They ordered me to my hands and told me to sit down in a chair with a wash basin. They made me wait for about 45 minutes, while they took in two walk ins. I am handicapped, and the insult, the struggle to accommodate them, the wait, etc., was pretty upsetting. When I left, they never said a word to me. People, just walk in from the street and leave a $1 tip. read more

Another lady came in and was immediately asked about what she needed and was told to pick out a polish. I stood up and asked why I was not spoken to. I have been in about 8 times over the last 5 months because I really wanted it to work and continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. Huge mistake. Never once have they got me in within even 20 minutes of my appointment time, and the male owner could not care less. Today when (for the first time) I asked if they could call me and let me Know they are running 30 minutes late, the male owner told me to find a different salon. Keep in mind I am a 30% tipper. He told me if I want in and out service in 20 minutes to go somewhere else. I let him know I wasn't looking for 20 minute service, I was looking to start within 5 minutes of my SCHEDULED appointment time. They have never been nice but I have continued coming bc the lady does a great pedicure. Not worth it to deal with ungrateful RUDE owners who do not want your business. Would not recommend, will be filing a report with the BBB. If you miss an appointment or reschedule they'll treat you like crap and call you high maintenance. these people aren't very nice and Nikki yelled at me coming in one day in front of people for missing an appointment which I thought was cancelled. Super embarrassing and very unprofessional, they'll escalate any situation so walk lightly around these folks or don't even consider them. They'll yell at you feeling like it's all your fault then they'll hang up on you ‍ other then how they treat there customers, Nikki did a great job on my nails. But I think she needs to work on how she talks to people and the rest of the folks that work there. read more

But if these were going to be my wedding nails, i would def be sad*** My friend came here and her nails were so incredible i came here too, with a friend, and my nails were exactly what i didnt want, short, bulbous, and fat, not long, thin, and oval. I even came in with long grown out nails and they cut them way shorter than i wanted. I even showed them photos. Ontop of that, my best friend didnt even get to get her nails done because they ran out of time, even tho we made an appointment. The nails from a distance arent bad, but up close the nail lengths are all different. Idk if a different person did my nails than my friend, but these were a wedding rehearsal and if i went into my wedding with these i would be very upset. However, 10/10 best pedicure ive literally ever had. If i could rate 3.5 stars i would, so im rounding up to 4, which is generous. -nails done wrong -best friend didnt even get to have hers done because they overbooked for the staff they had -pedicures great but we went for acrylics, pedicures were supposed to be last, not first -store clearly lacks efficient communication between employees because the guy who did my nails blamed it on the girl who told him what i wanted, even tho i repeated to him what i wanted and even showed him photos. read more

I have been waiting and hoping to have a nail spa in this shopping center because it would be very convenient for me. I was excited to see this nail salon opened here and couldn't wait to give it a try. They did an amazing job on my manicure and pedicure. My feet are like baby feet now. I had basic manicure, but John was very detailed on the Polish. I came out of the spa and felt like I could be a hand /foot model! I sure will visit regularly from now. read more

Yes, you have to wait occasionally but it's so worth it. I see them every two week, and find that appointments really do work better than just expecting to walk in and get your services done. You will ALWAYS have to wait at least 30 minutes even if you have an appt. I'm actually not quite sure why they even take appts, as they just allow whoever walks in first to sit down? I went back a few times because they do a good job and are pretty fast, but the wait is just too much. One time I sat for over an hour and they just kept telling me "be right with you." I have been to many salons and by far Forever Nails is the best service I've ever received for my mani and Pedi. The business is operated by a couple and it's only the two of them as they also experience the same issues as other businesses, lack of applicants so it's the two running it. However, with the lack of employees they make up for it with their impeccable service to well taken care of nails. I like getting my cuticles trimmed off and I hate going to the salons where they just use the machine to buff off your cuticles and not cut them. I've also been to salons where I've literally walked out bleeding from my nails. That is not the case at Forever Nails. They take their time and gives me the most beautiful nails. So, if I have to wait just a little more to get in with them, it's worth the wait! read more

Funny thing I had the same exact experience 3 different times that others with one stars have given. Same personality by the female and the other person just doesn't talk. I had an appointment at 6 o'clock arrived promptly and was told there are people ahead of me. Then why make the appointment?? If you have to accommodate for a walk in, then maybe have another person working. Once my nails were finished everything was fine however I had to come back the next day since one of the gel tips was too thin and bending. I was told by the female to come back in 30 minutes when she's not busy. Would not even look at me and walked out of the store. Cue jaw drop...Yikes! I've been brushed off by her the first two times as well. So I have no idea what people are raving about. As I got my nails done I noticed she plays favorites to regular customers. How can you be a favorite if she won't take you as a customer? She picks and chooses who she wants to talk to. Any how, John did a great job with the exception that I as well had to ask for a second coat like the other reviewer. So as far is this place being awesome.. not so much. Nice, modern nail spa and wonderful technicians. They really take their time and don't rush which is especially nice during the pedicure which includes a long foot/leg massage. My gel manicure and pedicure look absolutely perfect every time. My only suggest is to see more gel nail colors to choose from. read more

I have been there twice in the past two months and am thoroughly impressed. What I like the most is that when they removed the old gel, they don't just sand away which makes your nails thinner and thinner. Instead, they only removed the top coating and then wrap your nails with removal. It is so much healthier for your nails. I haven't had the wait issues some have reported, but because of how healthy my nails are now, I would choose the wait over having my nails drilled down a few layers. (I say that because another salon next to another Albertsons in Boise does exactly that to save time. I choose to save my nails instead.) read more

Literally the best pedi I've ever gotten! It's been so hard to find a good nail place in Boise and I finally found one I'm gonna stick with. The owners are so nice and everything is so clean. Every lotion/scrub used during my pedi smelled AMAZING and she gave the best massage. She also took her time making sure to get all my dead skin and cuticles. I go for my nails every 2 weeks and every time they are late - sometimes more than 30 minutes even when we are the first appointment. Today I only had an hour and let them know. They were late again. PLUS a customer came in and he stopped to talk to customer who got their nails done one week ago and wanted them fixed because they were a lifting. He indicated that she would have pay again......really?? then they talk for a while...I said in a normal voice I will need to leave at 10 to noon due to meeting I have...he yells..."your nails are not even dry" ...he was filing before the conversation. He then flips a whole bunch of pages back on forth on his appointment book vs coming back to me after she left. I again remind him I am in a rush and he tells that it is only 11:26 and my appointment was for 11... next time to go somewhere else... I said or maybe next time he could be on time.... he said you can leave now if you like and never come back....wow! I was not rude or raised voiced but he certainly was. I left of course and won't be back. I have never honestly written a review before but it was so crazy...I thought I should warn people. read more
