As a local who has tried several nail studios around the valley, I can honestly say this place stands above the rest. The studio is extremely clean and very well maintained, which immediately stood out to me. I go in for a men's foot pedicure, and the quality and attention to detail is always excellent. All of the technicians are very skilled, professional, and take pride in their work. I've gotten to know all of the techs over time and they're consistently great. Many of the chairs don't function correctly and are in need of repair. My latest pedicure was yesterday; my girlfriend and I had a blast. However, I really was looking forward to the massage, but this particular chair I had to keep powering off and on to even get the rollers to move. Very frustrating! read more

I had a bad experience here a few years ago, but I though I'd give them another chance since It has been a few years, and I made a reservation for my daughter and mother in law to get their nails done. When they got there they found their reservation had been given to another lady. Instead of trying to make it right and get them in, or offer a compensation for coming back. They tried to reschedule them for a later time. My daughter was looking forward to her special grandma day, including get her nails done. How Amore studio handles the mix up is unacceptable and has turned me off from trying this salon again. read more

Twice I had lovely experiences with Cindy, she's incredibly friendly and super great at her job, making sure I was comfortable and happy at every step. This time I booked with Paris because the timing worked for me. If this experience had been my first, I never would return. I was getting gel polish - first, she did it at her mani station so my leg was bent in a super uncomfortable way basically backwards under her table to reach her lap from the high chair I was sitting in. I had to slouch way down and try to make it work. In the first five minutes I was there, she and another associate bad mouthed three other customers. When the phone rang, she complained about how people calling. Then, while I had three toes painted, Paris, apparently a manager here, took a call at the front desk that lasted for more than 15 minutes. I know this becasue when I started getting restless, I checked the time and it was another 15 minutes from that point. I would have walked out if I hadn't already had gel on a couple of toes. I booked polish and not a full pedicure to save on time and no one even checked in with me. Afterwards, she said it was "a very difficult customer", who I heard she offered a $15 serve to. I'm there waiting to pay $40 and instead she spends my whole service trying to accommodate a $15 service. This would be a 1 star review but for the wonderful Cindy. Stay away from Paris, I have a feeling her customers aren't so difficult, it could be her service that is! read more

First off if the artist are new and as inexperienced as they were we should have been told that upon arrival! Polishing was a mess! They weren't able to offer a simple French tip so I settled for all over polish and that was still a bit like yikes! I was charged $60 and to me that is ridiculous for the service received!I can understand if someone is new and or just graduated which is what it was giving but they should definitely lower the price if that's the case and also ask if we are ok with that! I did get a mani pedi here before Covid. Great little place but they forgot to input my reservations twice. Hopefully this last reservation I've made will be on their books upon arrival. I would skip this place ( as it probably won't stay in business long due to COVID or the lack of solid customer service. ) Upon entering you're bombarded by country western music and a man at the front desk telling you that you're lucky to get a walk in appointment as they are " so busy all the time " even though there were only 3 customers but about 8 employees... oddly , I knew straight away that I'd most likely never ever be back because It isn't In my hood and I just wanted a quick , yet overdue pedicure . The good things are that there is a nice big room to get your nails done and they offer you a cold bottle water of water upon seating you . It is quite spacious and appears to be clean . The bad things are that There are MULTIPLE ppl working here but hardly customers and There are no protocols when it comes to social distancing upon paying out when you're done . Not okay . You have staff ppl sitting there shouting to their boss when you walk up that they don't know how to take payment from the customers and it takes about two hours for the entire situation to take place from start to finish. The vibe is amateurish . The ppl working are straight out of beauty school which it obvious by their technique since they don't pumice feet . They remind you that it's normally busy and that walk ins are unheard of which was something that kept striking me as odd . I kept wondering Why would it would even matter ... Totally odd . The vibes are off in this place . Seems the owners take FULL advantage of the employees here since they have them work 10 hour shifts here during COVID . Yikes . There are many nail places in town that are more efficient and effective in COVID protocols that if I were you , I would deeply consider Running, not walking away from this place . She is creative with nail designs and has good ideas for future appointments before you leave the current one! I made the mistake of going to another girl in the shop before vacation, and immediately asked Jakie if she could fix my nails. I had an appointment 3 days later!! I came here for a basic manicure for natural nails... I LOVED that I wasn't encouraged to get gel nails or any other non-natural nails. (I felt like I was listened to, and not just trying to be "upsold") Cindy did my nails, and like other reviews have mentioned, she is very friendly, approachable, and welcoming. We shared some great conversation and good laughs! She also did a great job at listening to what my nails need. She was meticulous in deciding what needed to be cleaned up hangnail-wise and didn't just trim all my cuticles that used to happen at the other place I used to frequent. Since I'm new to the area and am suffering from some of the driest skin known to mankind, she was helpful in suggesting treatments and preventative measures to reduce any further cracking to my poor hands. My partner and I came here as a treat for our anniversary. We were excited because of the high rating on Yelp, but became extremely disappointed after our appointment. My partner's appointment took nearly two hours for acrylics, which was her only break before work. So, because the long appointment was cutting it so close before her shift, we felt that we couldn't even communicate our frustrations and ask for the service to fix it. The technician seemed unqualified to do this French tip, and the acrylics are bulky. The staff is friendly and the environment is welcoming, but we felt that $60 for this quality was not even close to worth it. Update** WOW. Jaw dropping difference. Duane was amazing about contacting my partner right away to get her nails redone. It was amazing hearing how happy and excited she was about the quality of her nails. My partner said she enjoyed Nena and the environment of the entire workplace. The previous review does not reflect the business as a whole, and that became evident with the treatment my partner was given today. 6/5 stars. I like that you can book on line. But for my 4 pm and I didn't get seen until 4:15 and I was left sitting there without even the gel polish samples to look at. Mediocre job, I see that my polish has waves and ripples. The tech station was pretty dirty covered with dust, her empty Starbucks cup, another drink of some sort, cluttering the station and making it look messy. (Added that clarification for Duane) Update: two days later polish is chipping. The manager commented on this review and said they would fix it.. but I'm hesitant. I would never go to that tech again. She bragged about how they are number one on Yelp, but that wasn't my experience. I had a gel manicure 3 weeks ago in San Francisco and it was cheaper, clean, and lasted much longer. I might get it fixed. But its inconvenient for me, it should have been done right the first time. Honestly the only time I look elsewhere is when I need an appt within a few days, because they book up weeks in advance (that's how good they are!) But don't let that detour you, as you can easily book online, and be placed on a waiting list if the date is booked. The front desk associates are very helpful when I call or walk-in as well. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by my last visit to Amore. I decided to try someone new since the gal I have seen before never has availability. I booked my appointment online for dipping powder with Lisa. From the get-go, I was irritated. She started by criticizing how my nails were when I walked in, saying they were "wrong" when I liked how my nails looked and had kept. Then we continued to have communication problems. She didn't understand the color I wanted. She didn't understand the shape I wanted. She didn't understand the length I wanted. She ended up trimming my nails very short and rounding them off. It looks a bit odd. I was never able to confirm if the dipping powder I wanted was even available. The most frustrating part is my dipping powder ended up being so thin that within 3 days, four of my nails had cracked, and now two of my natural nails have broken off. I would not recommend Lisa. I spent over an hour and $50 for 3 days of lasting work. read more

Love this salon! I have been getting gel mani and pedis for many years, in different states and locations. The salon is clean, easy to get an appointment through the Vagaro app (you don't even have to make a phone call) and conveniently located right next door to Albertsons so I can pick up groceries on the way home. I love their choice of colors (SO many!) and designs you can choose from. The possibilities are endless since so many of the girls, especially Maya, can do beautiful nail art. I have never been happier with the shape, consistency, and long lasting gel mani and pedi I get here. All the girls are friendly and seem to really want to please the customer. This was my first time at Amore nail studio. All I needed was a gel polish change. There was no water or pedicure involved except for trimming the length. My nail technician was nice, but it was a subpar service. For the quality of my gel polish change I was surprised to see it would be $30. On the website it shows $30 for a gel pedicure, which I did not receive. Very unpleased with the price I paid for a okay service. I will not be back to this nail salon. Update: I mentioned to the manager that I thought the price was too high for the quality of the service. It's very obvious from the photos that it's messy and thick/ uneven in many spots. The only way of fixing this service was to start over, and I don't have time for that. Especially if this would be the same outcome. Unfortunately, I care much more about the quality of the service I pay for. Not the decorations inside the shop. read more
