I am not quick to judge. BUt the woman( either Tina or Trina?) Ripped off + filed with a drill my acrylic nails i asked to have removed. Even when I protested bc it hurt & I was aware it would damage my natural nail, she kept going & acted like I was in the wrong when she finished & some of my nails were down to the quick. I had to pay before she would finish so I felt stuck . It took months of cutting my nails all the way back bc they would split. She damaged my nail beds- so thin you could see the blood beneath! I asked for apmnt with Mia who I hear is good .But didn't get her. This woman( not a lady) said she was her mother, which i found out later was a lie . The excuse for my nails turning out awful was that red powder stains and I just need to wash my hands, well I have washed my hands a ton and they still look horrible. I should know by now not to go here. Every time I get a pedicure I end up with polish all over my toes and a huge chip in my big toe!!! The guy didn't even clean up my nails. It was such a mess he even told me to come back to get them fixed. I told him no, it was for my wedding and they needed to be fixed now. He said wedding? Ohhh, and came back and actually tried to fix them. They were still so bad I drove all the way to Meridian to my old nail place that is amazing and he fixed them and still gave me a full pedicure because he thought it had been done two weeks ago instead of the same day. He asked me if I had done them myself (that's how bad they were)! On top of it I got my nails done here and now have nice bloody cuticles that have crusted over. I spoke to staff to let them know that I was on a timeline, but no one seemed to be bothered to even come close to my original appointment time. Be prepared to sit and wait forever and waste a big part of your day. Perhaps they should not take appointments on the weekends and tell people that it's first come first serve. I was encouraged to get a gel coat on my toenails during my last pedicure and so I decided I would try it. One of my toes had the polish peel up. I went in to get it repainted and they said "you find the color." Well, I couldn't and they said "that they were out of the color."Two people stood there and neither helped. They were not busy. I went in a few weeks ago for a gel manicure and the gentleman who did it was amazing! I went back yesterday for the same service and the lady who did my nails did not do the complete manicure, and I was charged the same price (or the gentleman did more then just the basic for the manicure price.) Today my polish started lifting so I returned to the same woman to have them fixed. After she explained it was bad polish, she poorly fixed only 2 nails instead of all of them and said the rest was fine. She used the same polish as yesterday and I'm still having lifting after only a few hours. I've never had this issue before. read more

The gentleman corrected the water but then started pedicure immediately after the water was fair temperature and didn't let my feet soak at all. He then proceeded to cut every other toenail getting up in between trimming to do other tasks. When he can back from 3 trips away, he started trimming my cuticles with my toenails all being uneven, some trimmed extremely low, one still VERY long (cutting into the side of my toe... the reason I needed a pedicure). I stopped him and was ready to walk out, but my husband was getting pedicure next to me and it felt too uncomfortable to leave. So I let him know that I was confused with how he was doing my toes. He then asked me what he was doing wrong and specifically had me look at every trim he made. Oye. He then decided to get someone else and acted like I was being extremely picky. She came and sat down asking what was wrong. She was asking me questions related to my husband if he was a good guy or implying maybe he was abusing me because I was upset... not that I was upset about the $100 we were about to flush down the drain for a toenail trim I could have done at home for free. My husbands pedicure was done 15-20min before mine so then I opted to skip nail polish so we could get the heck out. They did not discount or offer anything to make up for the bad experience. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is relaxing and much more posh than most Idaho salon's. I never get my nails done, so I'm the worst at picking colors or knowing what I want. But I went with a group of girls to have our Mani/Pedi's done for Mexico and 4/5 of us were happy. My personal experience was a little lack-luster, but that could be a user error. I picked a nude color and after seeing one nail I said it was way too light, and they suggested a more pink nude. He put it all on and when it was all said and done, it just looked like I had a clear coat of polish. The square tip was also very crooked and I ended up having to fix them with a file when I got home. I wasn't impressed, mostly because I paid $27/gel mani, and $37/gel pedi. Worst pedicure experience ever. I took my daughter for her birthday, paid $85 dollars for two pedicures that were awful. They didn't spend any time actually cleaning the nails up, zero massaging, and painted the nails with goopy paint all over our skin. l complained and they wanted to redo it with another color. I sat down again while it took forever for them to try and take it off. I didn't have that kind of time, so I just wanted my money back. They offered $10!! My favorite nail salon in all of the treasure valley. I used to get my nails done here every few months a couple years back... then had to stop treating myself due to finances. It's been around 3 years since my last visit and Tuan still recognized me, despite not being in for such a long time and despite not being a super regular. Today I decided to go w/ a full set + gel polish. I never used to get fake nails because the few times I had them done (yeeeears ago, before EZ opened) they usually took 2+ hours and I never seemed to be satisfied with the result. My set today only took an hour from start to finish. He was quick yet diligent and paid attention to detail. Tuan did great work with shaping and wasn't annoyed at all w/ my indecisiveness over the color. (I hoarded their color swatches for half an hour, dropping them on the floor multiple times and messing up some of the work he'd just done on the previous hand while trying to flip through all of the color options... ) A few years ago, I got a gel manicure and after about a week, the polish chipped on one of my nails. I stopped in to get it touched up, expecting to pay around $5 but the tech didn't charge me anything PLUS he put another coat and seal on ALL of my nails. This salon is QUALITY. They take care of their guests and work to make sure you have a personal yet professional, enjoyable experience. I'd never cheat on EZ nails with another salon... they're the BEST in Boise! Highly recommended! Also- to the person saying they waited 20 minutes and the techs helped people who had walked in after: they had appointments. Appointments are priority over walk ins.... next time schedule something in advance and you won't have that issue. read more
