Got together for Sunday brunch with high hopes of enjoying an aperol sprits and some lake view. Party of 6 were seated right away on the outside patio facing the water. Our waitress was nice a bit abrupt but no big deal. They offer brunch buffet it had the usual staples, eggs,bacon, carved ham and pastry selection. We opted for the other options on the menu. Saw another yelper post the strawberry salad and it looked and sounded perfect for a hot day, well no luck they were out of it disappointment. No perch for lunch only dinner. So if you expect certain items from the menu be ready to be disappointed. Ordered shrimp app not satisfying at all. My friends dish was too salty, the two salads were fine. They do offer bottomless mimosa and bloody mary as well. Hit and miss experience. read more

We arrived with high hopes of soaking in the serene lakeside vista while enjoying a leisurely meal. However, our visit took a quirky turn when the manager informed us that one of the waitresses had to leave unexpectedly. To make things easier for the lone server left, we were all seated on one side of the patio. This might have been fine, except for one small detail: our view of the lake was expertly blocked. We could have been staring at a postcard for all we knew. Despite begging to sit on the side with the view, the manager insisted on our lake-less location. Ironically, she started seating other customers, who arrived after us, on the very side we were denied. The food was good, and the drinks were exactly what we needed to keep our spirits high. The poor waitress, bless her, hustled like a caffeinated squirrel, juggling more tables than a circus performer. I'll definitely be back, but next time, I'm staking my claim to a lakeside seat. This was our first time at fork and pint and we were pleasantly surprised! We really loved the atmosphere! It's huge inside and there are plenty of televisions making this a great spot to watch a sporting event. We were here for a fundraiser. There is a large private room that we were able to use. We ate buffet style and everything was delicious! Definitely recommend the fried chicken. We had a waitress, bur mostly got our beers from the bar. They had a great beer selection to choose from. We were here for lunch Sunday. They have a nice brunch buffet but we were stuffed after the holidays so we ordered from the menu. We were a party of six and everyone ordered something different. The perch sandwich, the classic burger and the macaroni and cheese were all winners. The Greek salad was missing a few of the usual items such as beets and pita bread but was still ok. The chicken club sandwich left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't order it again. Our server was excellent. The beer menu is nice. My steak was tougher than than I have had recently. The brussel sprouts were good but had a little kick to them. Service was spotted but the place was crowded for this pandemic time so they could be short handed. I will tell you that once the live music starts, your table conversation will end. If you are looking for gourmet food..keep looking. If you are looking for a clean, fun, local bar with good food...this is the place. Our waitress was super attentive, made great recommendations and made our experience so much more enjoyable. My husband decided to try the peanut butter burger, it was not on the menu but I am glad we trusted our waitress and gave it a try. Very surprising combination of flavors, topped with crispy brussel sprouts. Super yummy and crispy fries! I ordered the root salad and it was also delicious. Very fresh ingredients, great goat cheese and generous helping of shrimp. I particularly enjoyed the homemade ranch dressing ( with my husband's fries). Would order again without garbonzo beans. Everyone loves a great patio & music .. this week I experienced it twice here! I decided to try the root salad.. it was absolutely delicious. Very generous amounts of delicious root vegetables. Parsnips love them!! A beautiful bibb lettuce one day/ the nxt time mixed greens.It was so (good) with the generous amounts of veggies & goat cheese.. it didn't even need salad dressing. Rather have my calories in a cocktail! Twice I experienced the walleye it's one of the (best) I've ever had!!! Generous pieces of this excellent prepared fish! Served with/Creamy coleslaw! A fav now! The service was good here. The special drink pumpkin with Russian, had little pumpkin flavor, but was a good strong drink. The salad was not just iceberg, which was nice , but no one in the kitchen took the time to cut it up. The ranch dressing was very good. I had the Cajun chicken, which was as dry as the desert, I've never had bone in chicken that dry. The crispy fries were very good, best part of the meal. Others had steaks, that were cooked medium and also super dry. We must have ordered the wrong food, because it wasn't good. This is a 2.5 star rather then a strict 2 star review. I came here for dinner at the end of April with a large group. It was. Meet-up group and we were sitting partly inside and partly outside. Our service was okay not great but not bad. I ate inside and we were at a table that was not designed for the 6 people that were sitting there. I got a local Cider (I can't actually remember what one but it was decent). I also had water and towards the end of the meal, it was hard to keep the water full because our waitress seemed to be over worked. I don't think she even checked that I needed another Cider. I started with Deviled Eggs because I hadn't eaten lunch. They were decent but it was definitely unique to eat deviled eggs off of pickle chips. There was nothing special about the deviled eggs. The bacon that was on top could've been more crispy. I went with the Sausage Plate and 2 sides. The sausage had some more burnt parts then I was expecting. The smashed potatoes could have had some additional seasoning. They were very bland. The Brussel sprouts had more of a burned and Balsamic vinegar flavor then anything else. It was hard to taste anything else. For dessert, I went with the flourless chocolate torte. It was quite good. The downgrade in stars have to do with the fact that even with picking all items as gluten free, I managed to get glutened. Based on the timing of my reaction, I would say it was dessert. Which is quite sad, because the dessert was stated that it was flourless. If I were to come back, I would not order anything that I ordered beyond the Cider. We live very close to FnP. We are frequent patrons. We also had our engagement party here a few years ago and the service is always amazing. The owner is always there working hardThey were very helpful, and not over bearing in the planning, super easy. Could email or call whenever. The food keeps getting better! They updated their menu this year with favorites & new items! They have daily deals - we love the wine & pizza deals! Want to enjoy a drink or a burger after a long day in the sun and see the sunset? Perfect spot! My only thought for the owner that I've expressed is that brunch on the weekends starts at 12. We LOVE the brunch buffet & would love to go before we get on the water. Our server, Chad was on his first shift and we kept him busy. We started with pretzels and cheese dip. I preferred the mustard. The cheese was a bechamel and not my preference. I had the pulled brisket dinner. They never brought out my salad. They were out of many things, but we understood as they were just ramping up after the Covid-19 pandemic. Waitstaff wore masks. So I wasn't impressed at all. Almost all of the items we ordered had at least one thing bad. The French onion soup was easily the worst French Onion soup I've ever had. I posted a picture of it as well. Had a chemical taste to it, didn't taste like onion, was mushy and had this "hockey puck" coated with something akin to cheese in the middle of it. The Deviled eggs were sour tasting. Still not sure if it was just the recipe or they were really bad. I wasn't willing to find out if they were the latter. No silverware when food arrived. This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. Why? Something so basic that causes huge inconveniences at the table. You bring the food, no silverware, you go get silverware, we wait staring at our food getting cold, we watch you run behind the bar and make a few drinks because you forgot the silverware, we ask a bus boy for silverware. Just don't. And the coup de grace? The Ribeye was.....wait for it....sour! Notice a trend here? Sour meat means bad meat. An epic fail here and one you risk getting patrons sick. It was also almost impossible to cut (unforgivable for a Ribeye). Probably secondary since it was inedible due to being bad. An overall fail. We came, we saw, we won't be back. read more

Do NOT go for Easter buffet. I have no idea how this buffet has ever been award winning. Visited today for Easter and it was horrible. I've honestly had a better meal at McDonalds. Paid $46 for a side salad, that I had to ask for as there were none on the table. And that was the only thing I ate because the rest of the food was inedible, cold, and everything was deep fried. Tried to eat some (again, deep fried) cod, and there wasn't even any fish inside-it was just a hunk of breading! Pierogis were like cardboard. Meatballs were cold. No vegetable, no mashed potatoes, nothing. The "carving station" had an empty ham bone on it. And when we asked for salmon and prime rib, the server was sure to slice off the teeniest, tiniest piece possible. The German chocolate cake looked like someone had scraped off all the frosting. And that's just the food. Won't even get into the appearance. Yikes! Food all over the table cloths, serving spoons that were so caked in food they clearly had not been changed out all day. When we expressed our concerns that we were paying $46 a person for a barely edible meal, the manager was abysmal at customer service. Will never return! read more

We planned an event at Fork n Pint for our daughter. They have a very lovely back room for private events. It is quite cozy with rustic decor and a fire place. Perfectly cute, and you don't need to decorate if you don't have the time, which was a bonus for us since we were unable to come early before our luncheon. My daughter was really excited to have a tasting prior to our event. Everything was delicious. They have an expansive menu and offer a large variety of foods. For me it would have been hard to pick, but for her they had all of her favorite dishes. We settled on the spinach dip and chips, house salad, broccoli, mashed potatoes, Cass lake sweet and sour chicken veggies and rice, chicken and waffles with hot syrup. We also ordered a mimosa bar and dessert. I warned my daughter food at a buffet is not always as good as it is at a tasting, but we were delightfully surprised. The food was hot and fresh. Our guests loved the chicken and waffles. They also liked the mimosa bar, which FnP is at the top of my list for mimosas! The red velvet cupcakes and tiramisu were divine. We also had other desserts. The staff was friendly, and great about setting up the room like we requested. They worked very hard to make this a successful party and a wonderful time with family and friends. One word: Mimosas! If you're going to come here, come on Sunday for their brunch buffet. The spread is always great including salads, soups, seafood, desert, and many more choices to pick from. While they do have a pretty decent food and drink menu, the star of the show are the mimosas. For $10 you get a glass of champagne, and then you walk up to the bar and choose from about 7 different juices and assorted fruit. The great thing is that if you finish your glass, every refill of champagne is only $1 essentially you could have 3 glasses for only $13( not that I recommend that but live it up haha) In the summer you can sit out on their patio section and enjoy the weather while looking over at Cass Lake. Decided to stop in and grab a beer and ended up deciding on getting food since we haven't dined here in some time. We grabbed seats at the bar, it was a Saturday evening and not too packed. Was happy to have something different on draft then most places having all day ipa only, got a Rochester orange whip and Alaskan Juneau (delicious citrus beer btw). As for food we had the Nashville chicken sandwich and stacked pulled pork. Definitely good price for these sandwiches, we were both stuffed and didn't finish. The Nashville was hot but could've been hotter for sure, but also considering average clientele it's spicy. The pulled pork was packed with meat! Brioche for the win for both. Everyone was super friendly from the hostess, both bar tenders and even food runners. Looking forward to stopping in more! read more

My wife and I ordered takeout from here recently. She ordered the salmon fillet dinner. Upon getting the food I noticed the size of the actual salmon was considerably smaller than the last time we ordered. I notified the girl at the front, she just scoffed at me and said that's the normal size of fillet they always serve. There was a side completely missing from the order too. She was very rude so I politely asked to speak with her manager. The manager came over and I explained the same thing to the first girl. The manager looked at the salmon and explained that fillet of salmon is actually for the salmon salads (which is smaller) compared with the full salmon fillet dinner that my wife ordered. The manager gave me the real salmon fillet along with the first salmon they we got. The manager's attitude was a lot better speaking to than the first employee too. Needless to say I won't be coming back to this place. The whole ordeal took over an hour and a half because after they realized I was right they had to cook the big salmon fillet that should've been in my order to begin with. They did manage to correct their mistake however I didn't like the attitude of the employee that I spoke with, doubting my concern, and didn't even apologize after I told her that she was wrong. She had a lack of respect to a honest fair paying customer and I'm really taken back by that experience. read more

We really enjoy this place. We've been here 4 times I think and every time we've come we really enjoyed our meals. They have a lot of excellent appetizers. The seared ahi tuna is probably our fav. I am not a Brussels sprout fan, my gf gets them every time and I tried one the last time we came. Surprisingly good, especially since I don't normally care for them. The Calamari, Nachos and Poutine fries are all other apps we've tried and enjoyed. For main courses we've had the pulled pork and pulled brisket, the chicken and waffles, the cock N Bull, The Answer and the Margherita pizza. All were very good, my gf and daughter both really like their salads too. They have a great selection of beers as well. The deck is an awesome place to enjoy some drinks in the summer. I like this place. It's across from Cass Lake, plenty of parking, seating. We got a warm welcome when we walked in. Large TVs. The fish and chips is delicious. Fries are nicely seasoned and thick cut (generous portions). The fish is walleye...large, crisp, amazing. I had to take half my plate home. But on that note, it was $21. After living in Waterford for almost 3 years, I'm so happy we're a stone's throw away from Fork n' Pint with their simple online carry-out ordering system. They're great with carry-out packaging and give ample side-servings. Our favorite main dishes so far are the blackened chicken and burgers (subbed with Impossible meat). That's right, you can get any burger substituted with vegan patties! We've yet to dine in, but give a big thanks to them for being convenient, kind and consistent with our favorite weekend cravings! read more

Almost every time we decide to eat at Fork n Pint, or during the pandemic order curbside or delivery, we come away disappointed. We practically live in their backyard, so it would be great if we could get service and they could get our food order right because if they did we would be regular customers. We regularly go out of our way and drive a much greater distance to eat elsewhere as a result. Again tonight, they messed up my wife's dinner order. Not just one detail, but several. I'm sure FnP is trying its best, but we just don't seem to run into the same regularly occurring issues with other similar restaurants nearby. Maybe it's just us? On the positive side, the brisket/shepherd pie Mac and cheese I'm eating is very good. Wish the service was better--it's a lot of money to spend to not receive what you order. read more

I would LOVE to talk to the OWNERS! I'll start by saying my family & I have been loyal patrons of this restaurant since it opened. We've come for Easter Brunch & I even hosted a private work holiday party here a few years ago. We are here at least once a month to eat since opening. I love the burgers, salads, stir fry & Brussel sprouts. The food is yum. The management is HORRIBLE!! The GM, Bill is AWFUL. He isn't customer service minded. I've had a few interactions with him that were baffling. I worked fine & casual dining in college & know what is expected in this industry. Customer is always right (within reason of course). I've been trying to book a private event for my son's birthday for the past two months. I've sent numerous emails & left voicemails for Bill to call me back. He ignored every single one of my attempts. I finally was able to get him on the phone by calling the restaurant once again. He admitted he "dropped the ball" on communication, but could not tell me if he could book our event & wouldn't know for another week. Our event is in one month. I'm not sure why our business would be turned down & clearly not a priority. A few weeks ago, we had an item missing from one of our dinners. Instead of coming to our table to apologize he brought over the servers ticket & accused us of not ordering correctly. No "I'm sorry for the mix up. Can I get you anything?" or "Can I make it better for you?" Not to mention his combative attitude when our family of 6 came in for Easter Brunch. We called ahead to see if there were vegan options available for one of our family members. We we're assured that there would be something available for her to eat of substance. Once we arrived we found out that all that there was to eat vegan friendly is fruit & potatoes. Have been to multiple Sunday Brunches and Private events. I do not know much about their menu, however, I can say that the brunches and private event buffets have a large variety of foods. There is not much food other than meats for gluten-free folks (like me), however, I will say that if you enjoy meat, I could eat their ham and sausages for a whole meal and be happy. Also, recommend the Brussel sprouts. I was disappointed by the disorganization of the restaurant. We made reservations for 11 AM by phone one time for brunch. Coming to the restaurant the next day, there were no cars in sight. Turns out, their website was wrong, and the waitress reserved us a table for an hour before the place even opened! My family and I have tried giving this place so many chances with their food/service, however, last night solidified our need to take a long break. Starting off the night we were brought waters, mine had a rubber cap floating in it, when we told the waitress she said "that's weird" and never brought back a new one until we had to ask again 10 minute later. We then get our food and the pork chops were hockey puck consistency and super dry with crumbs for french fries that were assumingely from the bottom of the fryer. My family also split the margarita pizza to which most of the toppings were burnt and the pizza was extremely salty. Most of these things I would just brush off as the staff/cooks having a bad day which we all have, however, later that night the 3 of us displayed all the symptoms of food poisoning and have been out sick for the majority of the day today, therefore, something was very wrong with that food. Unfortunately, it is hard to go back to a restaurant where you associate your head in the toilet so with that, we will not be back in the foreseeable future. read more
