I wish I could leave a review, but we didn't get a chance to even try the food. Walked in on a Sunday wanting to try breakfast. I've been scouting a little of local businesses so this came up. The restaurant is small so there was a wait, which I do not mind. We walked in the door and waited about 15 minutes. Not one person greeted us with a "hello" or even "we will be with you shortly" etc. Now they did have some bar top seats empty but I didn't know you could just walk in and sit there. Two separate people came in and sat at the bar tops. After the last person I seen a waitress and stopped her to ask about the bar seating. She told us we could have sat and I explained that we've never been here, didn't know the procedure and was never greeted/acknowledged by anyone. She did say it was an unfortunate crazy morning but that's not an excuse for how we were treated. We did eventually just leave because I felt uncomfortable after all of that. Nothing is better than a good breakfast at the crack of dawn. Right before work I needed a some omelette and hash browns to start the day. And Brody's did not disappoint. It's a small place in a very unassuming plaza, but the inside felt very much like a classic diner. It was not busy at all when I came so it felt peaceful while I sipped my cup of coffee. The veggie omelette, hash browns and mixed fruit were are very good and the portions were generous. If I'm back in the Waterford for work I'll definitely stop by again. read more

I loooooooove to support a local business. I was really excited to try it. Was planning to take quadriplegic spouse in the restaurant. However, when I scouted from the parking lot, I noticed entry would be a challenge due to high chairs in the entry way. So, we got take out. The French toast was just okay. I was super excited about the eggs Benedict with country gravy, but it just wasn't great. I'm sorry. I feel guilty for posting this, but I hoped for more. read more

The food was good. Nothing special, but decent abs at a good price. The interior was sub par and the atmosphere was non existent. The wait staff had one nice person and another that did not want to be there and did not really talk to anyone outside of asking for your order. Not even a thank you from them when we left. This is a borderline place with decent food, not worth a wait and not worth go out of your way to go to. A good local neighborhood place. read more

Really hate writing this review BUT....they asked for it. Went in to get some eggs and pancakes with my kid. Ordered food and waited....and waited....and waited......and waited. Few more minutes people came in after, and they all..............waited. One old man who came in after us gets his food. He has this Cheshire cat grin as he engulfs his pancakes whole. And all the tables, young and bold, turn and stare at him. Some with envy, some with disgust, yet we all.......wait. The chubby cook dude comes out and, believe it or not, starts asking people if we are doing ok? He looks only moments away from getting a coronary, sweating profusely. Some customers looked at him baffled and some angry, but all tell him about no food, no coffee, no anything. He responds with "oh i just put a fresh pot on", Dude! Its a breakfast place the least you can get right is the coffee ‍. Besides he is sweating up a storm, and I am thinking what the hell have you been cooking? None of us have our food! Once he disappears back to the grill, yep you guessed it.....we waited......no communications about when the food is coming, or hey appreciate your patience. Had enough, my kiddo's stomach was rumbling and honestly this place charges way too much for food to only deliver a glass of water during an hour wait at the table. Thanks but no thanks. I wanted to give them a chance to improve before leaving a review, but after a year no improvements have been made. First, the food is beyond mediocre- it just isn't even good at all. The best part of the meals are the toast which isn't saying much. The main server also has a horrific attitude. We were snapped at by her after waiting over 20 minutes longer than promised- we nicely asked what the status was and she replied, "we got a big order for the County you're gonna have to wait", despite us being there for 10 minutes before she took the County Sherrifs order over the phone . Finally, it is well known now that the previous owner got a DUI, was deported to Mexico and stripped of, The Cass Lake Grill (existed before Brody's). If that wasn't a hint about the demographics of the sourrounding area to the owner, I don't know what will be as their menu only contains traditional Anglo European choices. No Mexican items exist on the menu, despite the chef being Mexican... WTF is going on here? Long story short this place has terrible food. Do not expect anything tasty, savory or even delicious from this spot. All cookie cutter menu items. Eggs are fake egg beaters, cheese is nasty spray cheese which will saturate and drip out of your fake egg omlet... Will give this another year before they go under. Brody is cute, but no restaurant can survive serving food this bad. read more

I heard so many good things about this place so I thought I would try it. Phoned in a pickup order. Was told 20 minutes. I got there in 10 and the order was sitting on the counter. No heat lamps or anything. I live 5 minutes from the restaurant. When I got home my food was lukewarm at best. I ordered the eggs on avocado toast with chorizo. The chorizo was dried out little pebbles, the eggs were supposed to be over medium. They were not over but just folded in half and the yolks were hard. I took two bites and dumped it in the garbage. I went out to the my kitchen and made myself a fresh, hot breakfast. So much for a break from cooking! :( My fiancée had peanut butter cup pancakes and enjoyed them. read more

We moved to the area a little over a year ago. This is pretty much the first place we tried out around here and we absolutely loved it. I'm a biscuit and gravy girl, and I fell in love! My mom and and grandma came to see my new place and wanted to grab some lunch so I immediately suggested Brody's. We walked in at about 1:45 and were greeted with such rude behavior from the waitress on duty. I had no idea they closed so early! 2pm?? That's insane to me, but anyway; the woman shouted at us saying "you know we close in 15 minutes right???". I was so embarrassed that I suggested this place for my mom, grandma and I to have a nice meal at. My mom ensured the staff that we would be speedy quick, and so they waited on us. Then we just felt so rushed and pressed that it was uncomfortable. Plus my grandma is getting pretty slow lately, so it kind of sucked seeing my mom try to rush her to order and eat her food. My mom is an angel and tips SO WELL no matter what. I compliment her for that because the experience was not great, even though the rude lady tried to make up for her attitude during our visit. It just felt so forced and fake. I'm 30 years old and have worked fast food and retail since I was 17. I give people the benefit of the doubt at all times. This is actually one of the only times some one has been blatantly straight up rude to me. Like, I understand the whole "about to close" thing- you don't make the customer feel like an ass by saying stuff to their face, just talk behind their backs and make them feel welcome! Sorry for the rant I really got into the story. This happened in October 2022. I had only picked up to go orders probably twice since then. Today I decided to pick up some breakfast and the biscuits were hard :/ I guess I just won't go there anymore. Maybe some suggestions? 1. You gotta get rid of that lady, or at least put her in the kitchen away from customers. I've read so many reviews about her being rude to others as well. 2. Be open passed 2pm? There were so many times I wanted Brody's but it was way passed close. 3. Be available on DoorDash. When you look up Brody's it just says closed no matter what time it is. Kind of sucks. read more

My 1st time eating at this restaurant. I had breakfast. The breakfast special I chose was 2 eggs, two pieces of toast, and hash browns plus -get this! - toast, biscuit, or fresh fruit. They brought me a dish of blueberries, strawberries, Kiwi, and grapes. It was fresh, delicious and a lovely change from toast. I will be coming back to try their corned beef hash, as well as for lunch some day soon. Highly recommend. read more
