Terrible customer service. I booked an appointment to do couples massage. When making the appointment, I shared that I have a Groupon voucher. When arriving, they said they don't take Groupon anymore because they switched management. "The old manager canceled the Groupon account." They said I can contact Groupon with this number, which didn't work. They tried to call for me but the number wasn't even the right number. They kept insisting that they will give me a good deal instead of helping me to get my money back from Groupon. They also said I can call the old owner and ask them to help. Basically I was left there to work on this issue myself. They didn't even apologize. Also they didn't speak English. I had to speak to them in Mandarin. Horrible management. read more

Had my first Deep Pore Facial and Deep tissue massage here. 2 hours! I felt like a happy baby, perfect ambiance to relax, comfortable bed, clean sheets. Masseuse (Her name is IVY, I definitely recommend her!) was initially very communicative about pressure and comfort levels, and continued to be very communicative of next steps. She was skilled in all of the services. The facial included a massage mask, steam--had many stages, that also made my whole body relax. Mask was a thick layer of seaweed (felt great!), removal of white/black heads all done with keen attention to detail, and then steam to open up pores. The massage felt never ending, and I cant complain about that! Room had a lot of privacy, separate from other rooms, calm lighting/ambiance. Hope to try the other services! When I THOUGHT I picked the right place after searching for a good masseuse.. at first going in they were very nice. First off they're phone do not work. We tried to call multiple times to make an appointment and no answer or a busy line. The massage was good. It wasn't until after the massage trying to pay they charged a extra $8 and told us not to get it from Groupon the next time. Then as I was proceeding to give a tip of $5 per person they told me I HAD to give them more than $5. After showing me they're list they made about how you can only tip $25-$30 which was insane because I thought a tip was what you wanted to give. She caught a nasty attitude and got mad at the $5 which I wish I walked out with. Then after walking out we said "have a good day" she then says "whatever". This is a nice place for a massage with a decent groupon rate for couples (60 min massage with chocolate and wine). The massage itself was good. She definitely worked my knots. It's the little things that I noticed. For ex. The wine was actually grape juice. Ha ha. It's a good thing I was doing dry January. So that didnt bother me so much. I travel all the way from jersey city to come to this spa because of the excellent collagen facial and microdermabrasion at a price that can't be matched anywhere. I work in tv and film daily and am constantly cast as late 20s/early 30s. I'm 40. I know a lot has to do with genetics but i feel like i look a lot better now than i did in my 20s because I'm taking better care of my skin. I have been coming to this spa once a month for at least 2 years after trying many manhattan spas. After a thorough cleanse, microdermabrasion is done. Then extractions. Followed by a serum that is worked into the skin by a tool that warms the deeper layers of the skin for better absorption. And then the facial is finished off with a 20 min mask. All this for $50 (microdermabrasion) + $60 (facial) for 90 mins of pure pampering. I started coming here when it was owned by Wendy. It is now under new ownership but they use the same techniques and equipment that Wendy did. Don't be put off by the slight language barrier. Great service all the time. read more

Don't waist your time/money. Towels had a musty smell, as well as very rough, "walls" don't go all the way to the ceiling, therefore your hearing everything going on outside, they used cheap lotion not oil as just about all spas do, (should've took a pic). The four pieces of chocolate they give, are stale, they don't give wine, it's grape juice as a former reviewer stated, when I asked why juice and not wine, she simply said "oh we got sued for not having a license" , and I informed her that they need to change their ads on groupon etc that say "wine". ‍simple fix. The two who did my massage, didn't speak English well, which for me is a problem if I'm trying to communicate with you during something that's supposed to be relaxing. Not worth it. read more

I made an appointment for a couples massage. We got there 10 min before our appointment and I confirmed that we would be taken in promptly at my appointment time and was told "yes". We waited 30 min (20 min past out appointment time) and were not taken in. We live in an age where time is valuable and if you are running late, you call or text so people don't sit around waiting on their valuable weekend time. We left at this point and will not be returning but this establishment does not value customer time. When you are paying for a leisure service, please expect it to be timely as you don't start out relaxation with stress. read more

If you're desperate for a quick pedi that doesn't cost much then this place is OK. My water was lukewarm at best and my massage chair wouldn't allow me to make any adjustments with the remote, which was beaten up so badly I couldn't even read the buttons on the remote. I bought a groupon for an hour couples massage. I booked for the next day at 1. I walked in and the woman at the front desk clarified that they charge a $4 tax per person for the groupon deals. We were led to a dimmed room, got undressed and laid on the tables. The lighting and the music was calming. The two women who massaged us were nice. Let me start off by saying the massage was overall good. Nothing out of the world but worked out some kinks. Now unfortunately the wine they provide isn't actually wine but 100% grape juice. When brought to their attention they acted as if they weren't aware of what was going on and they went to "talk to their boss" while we got undressed in room, when they eventually returned they started the massage without a single word on the wine as if nothing happened. My girlfriend and I can be a bit passive so we decided to just enjoy the massage. During the massage their was loud banging from the building next door and because I assume we were the last massage of the day because outside the room we can hear every single employee rushing and cleaning up. It felt very uncomfortable. After all this as we are getting dressed I peek out of my room and all employees were in the waiting room with their jackets and coats on waiting to go and last but not least we left the room with the tip inside of the room and when they thought we were leaving without tipping it felt as they were almost going to stand in our way till we tipped.
