I'm very unsatisfied with Amar and the Auto shop. I took my daughters car in to get some work done. I trusted him from reviews and had the work he recommended done. The AC was having an issue and he said we needed to get a part and was waiting on a used part to save money which was great. Fast forward gosh at least a month later (today) I called in to check on part and he told me that he didn't feel comfortable dealing with me because of something else goes wrong that I would blame him. It would have been nice if he had called me back and told me that before I waited. Now I have to start over with a new shop. He can preach his blessings for being In business, but that is just bad business. I spent a lot on the work that I got done and now wonder if it was even necessary. If I would give him worse the one star I would! Stay away! The only reason I would have to go back is if a part broke that is under warranty! read more

I went in for repairs of my truck AC. Amal said it was a big job and he would put 2 guys on it. He said he replaced the Evap coil by removing the whole Dashboard.and charged the whole system. Other repairs were done with no issue. The AC works good and the charge for repairs was more than $600 for the AC Evap Coil. I came home and just watched a video about removing my trucks AC Evap coil box and the guy did it in a few minutes! I was with Forsyth auto for years and he chose this time to take me. Like I am a dumbass. Evap coil is about $50 in parts cost I would never go back! Flat out ripped off. read more

This review is about a month overdue. Nevertheless, Amar and his team of mechanics are hands down the best. I took my vehicle in for an oil change at 335K miles and Amar mentioned needing to replace some hoses that were deteriorating so I dropped my vehicle off for those repairs while I was going out of town. When I dropped it off, I asked if he could take a peak at what might be causing a noise and some vibration near the passenger side. I returned and Amar was like, "take it for a spin and tell me what you think." OMG, I didn't know how to act, upon starting it up I immediately noticed the noise/vibration were GONE. I mean I felt like I had a near brand new car it ran so quietly and smooth. What I thought was an exhaust issue was a motor mount issue that Amar and his team found and resolved and at a very fair price. Thanks to Amar and crew helping maintain my 2008 LR2, I've gained more confidence in knowing my truck still has quite a bit of life left in it. I have since put another 1600 miles on my baby and NO issues. My car, Penelope, and I have a lot of history together. So when her radiator blew one day after work I looked at multiple places to see who could help me on a Sunday. Everyone quoted me almost double and said I had to wait till Monday for parts. Not only has Amar helped me with the radiator but also a full restoration to get Penelope to 500,000 miles!!! I do not know why this place get 5 stars??? I came to this place last week because I got a little car door crash (there were some scratches and dents, but not really that bad damage). The first impression is not good at all, he keeps cursing all the time, saying that my accident is really bad, that will take him about 5,6 days to fix it for $600. The annoying part that he asked me: "why did you do this?", well, it was an accident and no one wants it, his job is to fix it, not to questioning me and treat me like I just did something really wrong. We had utilized this mechanic once before and he gained my husband's trust. Now we had the car towed because it had been overheating and it just shut down. He took the car apart and did a ton of labor without asking us first! Then once the car was apart he got us for a new water pump, timing belt with kit, and a serpentine belt. $800 whopping dollars later I pulled out of the parking lot with the check engine light on and the vehicle started overheating again in no time! Now he's saying that he isn't a psychic and can't find everything wrong with a car. He saw a leak and he fixed it. Now he won't promise that the labor won't be charged for a new repair! When my car wouldn't start one night I was in a panic. I spent the whole next morning searching the internet for places to take my poor car. I called all over and everyone was telling me it was going to cost over $300 to almost $400 with a AAA discount just for a new starter. Finally I decided to give one last place a call and a man answered and he treated me like a real person. He said it would cost $240 which was way less than everyone else. And he specializes in starters so it was perfect. I brought my car over with the tow truck and he greeted me at the gate. It was a small place and it wasn't anything fancy but there were a lot of nice cars on the lot and he was very nice. He said he could have it done for me that evening but I had to work so I asked if I could pick it up the next morning an he said it was no problem. He called a little later to tell me that it was my dead battery that killed my starter so I needed a new one of those too. But he said that he would give me a brand new battery that was the original kind the car came with for only $60 so I wouldn't go over $300 because I told him that is all I could afford. I picked up my car the next day and it started better than when I first bought it. He gave me a great warranty on the labor and the parts so if I have a problem (which I doubt I will) it'll be fixed. I definitely found a diamond in the rough with this place an I suggest you go there if you have a broken car. read more
