Stopped by this location worried about a bolt in my tire. The staff was upfront about being really busy, but one of them still walked out with me right away to check it. He carefully removed the bolt and showed me there was no damage. I was so relieved--and grateful for the honesty and kindness. What could have been expensive ended up being nothing but peace of mind. read more

Came to have a nail in my tire patched, I was on a spare, they were able to patch my tire and put my spare in my trunk, however they damaged the tire or somehow it got damaged during the process and they didn't tell me . So of course when I legitimately needed my spare- mind you it's been aprox 5 weeks, I find out it's damaged and can't be used. Why would you not tell someone that. Unbelievable! read more

Last Thursday, I was tired, driving home, and noticed my car's steering wheel was delving towards one side. It made me wonder if it was my alignment. I was halfway to my home when a car beside me was frantically honking, bringing to my attention that a tire was really low. I pulled into the closest gas station and paid $2 to fill up the tire. The next day, I left work early to see if I could get lucky, but they were busy, and the next availability was on Monday at 9 am. Lucky for me, I was on vacation on Monday, so I made the appointment. I was out by 1020am. Lucky for me, it was a screw rather than something more destructive, and for $30, my leak was repaired. Yes, I could have gone to plenty of the cheap used tire places to do the work, but I am always wary. Those places will try to give me a garbage tire while mine are barely a year old. read more

They called me months ago and told me I need brakes, I told them to go ahead and do them. I brought it for an oil change months later and they didn't mention anything brakes, I did not realize until I took it to Lexus of winter park that my brakes weren't done. I called them and they said they had no record of me needing brakes(conveniently). I had to pay double the prices I was told months ago and they were pretty much just like too bad we already did them and you're saving money by not bringing it to Lexus. I will not be going back there at least Lexus keeps records of everything. read more

Came in for rear brake pads change. Nothing special. They told me an hour. They took 2 1/2 btw. So I leave my car. They call saying I need rotors changed too and try to upsell me and get me to pay over 400 dollars. I reject this and then they change to a deal for half the price. I agree to this. They claim I had a stuck lug nut that needed a replacement which they charged an arm and leg for some something that cost a few dollars. I had to speak to the front desk guy twice to get him to go into the back and get his employee to finish his job being that my car had been lowered and been sitting there for a long time. That's when the employee finally drives the car around and gives me the keys. Literally had me waiting for no reason. Just forgot about me. I don't recommend this place to anybody. read more

The guys at Action Gator Tire did a fantastic job. Ive been to one of thier competitors twice before and could not get my tires balanced properly. Thier attention to detail and knowledgeable staff is what makes all the difference. I also want to give a big shout out to the staff in the alignment department. Come to find out,my old truck had not been aligned since new in 2000. I moved to this area 5 years ago from NC. I've been going to these guys ever since. I started when they were in their old location, but have even followed them to their new location because they are that AWESOME!!! They will always take care of all their customers. Richard and Bo always answer the phones friendly and ready to assist!!! I purchased my tires there and of course got the warranty, which is well worth it! And thankfully I did, because I just needed it on Tuesday. I called in and they got me right in, I dropped my car off and Luke happily checked the air and filled all 4 and fixed the nail I had in 1 tire. Not only with a smile but he also was swift. Had a great experience here. George was quick with getting me all set up and quick with a phone call when it was all done. I only went in to get a tire patched, which I thought was very affordable; around $25. I've had the same thing done at some other places around town, but they're $10 more. Best part is, they send you coupons and there's even a coupon for $10 off a service of $35 or more if you check in on Yelp! I called up to get a quote for a price on 4 new tires and spoke with Bow. He was friendly, professional, and very helpful. When the tires he found for me (Which were the best price around after checking Walmart, Sears, Sam's, and others) weren't available after I dropped my car off, he was able to find me tires that were even better and honored the original price I was quoted. The guy that helped me when I came in chose my tires for me and didn't show me any options. Also, what they said about my tire sensors were wired incorrectly or that they were wrong. They also supposedly found another very expensive problem they wanted to fix. I'll be taking my car to another mechanic for a second opinion on that one. And lastly it took two hours for them to replace two tires - unacceptable! read more

I came here for a pretty urgent repair for a steering issue, mainly because I live nearby. Although I had to leave the car for several hours before they could look at it, they were friendly and helpful in explaining the issue and the repair. They were able to find the part and finish the repair the same day. I can't really judge the fairness of the price because it was an urgent problem and I did not get another quote elsewhere. When I returned a few days later for a separate issue, they gave me a quote but actually suggested I check with the manufacturer for recall / warranty coverage. It turns out it was covered, so they saved me several hundred dollars. Overall, I would recommend this shop because they are honest and do quality work. But if you're looking for just the cheapest place, this may not be for you. read more
