I used to go to this Valvoline 20 years ago and it was an amazing place to go. Everything was really good. Along the way something has changed. I took my truck there yesterday and the first thing I noticed was that the shop was completely empty. I had already passed by three times earlier and was wondering if it was even open because there was never a car in any of the bays. My suspicions about the place were about to be answered as I pulled into one of the bays. So when I arrived to get oil changed, I was literally the only customer there. The crew came out to greet me and it was obvious that they all had bad attitudes. The person who came to talk with me had a shirt that said shop supervisor on it. I believe his name was Jah. The manager and crew were clearly annoyed that they had a customer. It took them a while to get set up and they had an attitude the entire time. The manager would not even look at me in the face and his head turned the entire time. As he was asking me questions it was clear that he was upset that they had a customer. The worst part was they told me that they were doing services that they never did. Normally when you go to these places, they change your oil and check all your fluids and tire pressure. I literally had to ask them to do these things and they only change the oil and check my tire pressure but on the receipt they checked off that they had done all of the normal services that Valvoline has to offer. When I told the manager, I was intending to do a split payment, he got really annoyed and huffed and puffed like he was going to have some kind of medical disaster. After I gave him my first card to pay with it, miraculously came out of his hands and fell on the floor. I cannot confirm if this was on purpose, but I would not put it past him. Was he just too annoyed to care or did he throw my stuff on the ground on purpose? I'll leave that up to you to decide. After I paid for the service that I did not get except for the oil change, I asked them again if they could fill my tire pressure which they eventually did, but then only put back two of my stem caps. Now I would not normally think of this in a negative way I understand that sometimes people forget, but why would they only put back the two on the driver side and not put back the two on the passenger side unless they were just trying to be jerks. It's like they knew that I would only see the driver side and assume the other side was the same. I would not have come to these conclusions if they had not lied on the paperwork and acted with terrible attitudes the entire time I was there it was like they were annoyed that they had customers. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I got a routine oil change from this place and they stripped the oil pan drain-plug. Not the end of the world as i understand it happens sometimes. When all of the oil leaked out of my car, I was no longer able to drive/work for as long as the problem went unfixed. I reached out to Valvoline and it took 2 weeks of ghosting and me following up for them to even accept liability and confirm that they would reimburse me for getting the repairs done. Now that I've gotten the repairs done, they have yet again ghosted me after sending the receipts and address for reimbursement by check. It has been 3 weeks since I got the repairs done and the only thing I've heard from them is "we've reached out to management for info." I've never dealt with customer service like this. read more

Fairly typical for a quick-change joint. They were friendly and quick. I pulled up at a very busy time and was still out in less than a half hour. The cars were wrapped around the building, but I needed to head out of town the next morning and wanted the oil change ASAP. Normally, I would've driven down the road and came back a bit later or the next day, but this still wasn't bad at all. It's still a quick-change place and they WILL ask you to do every random service in the world for an arm & a leg. Just say no if you want to say no. SCAM! I took a car for an oil change today. After refusing the $89 oil they changed the oil then asked me to start the car.. it wouldn't start. The one guy working on the car smirked,then walked away. Two others came around the front of the car and said it was the battery.. they jumped it.. didn't work.. they suggested it was because I took the less expensive oil. (Got the same oil as the last time) The car was fine when I took it in. No issues.. One guy offered to help arrange a tow to their mechanic. He told me they didn't do anything to the car, it was pre-existing. I had my mechanic look at it.. he found a plug disconnected. Had an oil change last night on my Mercedes. Today after doing a few errands my car started smoking. I opened the hood and now I see oil all over the engine. I'm very concerned as to what exactly to do but I'm now back at this Valvoline. Staff is handling the issue well. Expecting a refund and a fix on this problem before my car blows up. Will note back tomorrow Update: Car got another oil change and was partially cleaned. Leaving as satisfied customers we were also told to await an emailed voucher for a free oil change, cool. We go about our day, about two hours after we left this location for a second time, a private number calls my boyfriend. He answers and a man saying he's a manager starts threatening him. Going as far as to say "don't come back her or else". At this point my boyfriend calls corporate. Corporate has to get involved. The GM of this location calls us, he promises to fire whoever threatened us and for us to come back so he could properly clean the oil off my car's engine. The next day we arrive so the GM can clean off all the oil. Another manager mentions no one knows who called to threaten us. Noone has been reprimanded for utilizing the store's database to access personal information to then threaten a repeat customer. Granted our home address is also listed. read more

I have been to this location in the past as it's near my home, but my attempt to get service today was nothing short of pathetic. after getting cut off by a jerk from the middle of 3 lane road, the "leader/manager" obviously recognized the car/driver and had them enter the middle stall. first was already filled. Although friendly staff. The group staff this weekend was extremely inexperienced, young, early 20's, a total mess. Looking like running chickens with their heads cut off. Took 30+ minutes just to do the oil change. Staff couldn't reinstall/connect the air filter compartment tight and shut. Needed all three of the only staff taking turns trying figure out how to re-tighten the screws and get into place. After the obvious of noticing something was wrong... I had a get out of my car to figure out what was going on. For them to say, nothing and telling me . Get behind the yellow line. I had a rask and literally try to find out what was going on again. If you've put off having your oil changed for way longer than you should, and you don't want to wait to have your means of transportation (car) taken care of, these guys will take care of you fast. You'll pay a few dollars extra for the convenience, but you need to take care of your expensive car, or you'll have to shell out even more bucks for a new one. BEWARE the upsell, they WILL try to sell you expensive, unneeded service that you don't want or need. Engine flush? transmission flush? Radiator / cooling system flush? Just say NO. Picture attached is the bolt that THEY messed up my tire with because they were too lazy to use the PROPER TOOLS ON MY VEHICLE, now every time i drive i constantly hear metal clanking and jamming/popping in my back left tire. they tried to charge me $100 to fix something that they broke!!!!!!!!!!!!! claimed it was "prior damage". absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. ever. i am livid. let me tell you-- my car did not make this noise before. you all should be ashamed for the absolutely terrible con service. I moved to the area recently and was not familiar with any local businesses. Needed to have the oil changed on my son's car, difficult with my work schedule and his school schedule to coordinate getting to the dealer, dealer site lists oil change and tire rotation at $59.95. Driving to the store on a Sat morning stopped in a Walmart but they had a 2hr wait at that point, quoted me $38.88 for the oil change. Continued about our business and then saw this Valvoline "Instant" shop, figured with the Valvoline name why not. Pulled up and waited at the garage door, had 4 doors with cars in each and 3 had one waiting so pulled up to the open spot. No one came out to greet us or tell us anything. When the car in the garage was ready to go a woman came out and told us we had to back up there was someone in front of us. Apparently at some point they came out and had people park in the parking spaces so I had to back up and let someone else in, the car next to me was going in so she had me pull up at that door. Should have known better at that point and bailed but waited, ended up waiting about an hour in total before being pulled in, that was for 2 oil changes in front of us, apparently they were short handed. Pulled in and they started working on the car, then they told me it would be $97 for the oil change because it was synthetic oil recommended by the Manuf. I knew that, I asked them why so much as Walmart was $38.88 and the dealer only $59.99 with a rotation? I was like ok, no thanks, figured I'd go elsewhere. Oh, but they got you because they already had my oil draining so after giving me a bunch of grief they put in conventional oil and socked me $46. Then they wanted me to sign a release because they put conventional oil into my car instead of the synthetic, I refused. Got the bill, so they charged $19.99 for labor and $23 for the filter and 5 qts of conventional oil. So for the synthetic oil change to be $97 they had to be charging at least $10 a qt more for synthetic oil than conventional! You can buy Valvoline Full Synthetic oil 5 qts at a high priced retail auto parts store for $30, at Walmart for $25 but they want like $70? To make things even better, the filter is a cartridge filter which they didn't put back together right, so oil has been leaking out slowly for a couple weeks. Thought the kid did something stupid but find out it was incompetence at Valvoline. To fix so it stopped leaking had to go basically get everything to do a home oil change, by this weekend it was about a quart to quart and a half low which cost me about another $50 and a Sat morning. I even paid a few extra $ to get the Mobile oil vs buying Valvoline. Sorry but I wouldn't let these guys check the air pressure on a Schwinn, I'm sure they would do it wrong and charge $10 a lb for air. read more

Working in my parents business has taught me to recognize great customer service in other businesses. This Valvoline Instant Oil Change vehicle service center definitely delivered great customer service. The team completed all their work per protocol, such as greet the customer immediately as they rolled over the notifier, recommend other services (without being too pushy), explained procedures, thanked customer for choosing their business. Any vehicle service center can do everything per protocol--this is the least amount or work expected from a business, but this particular center enacted their protocol with customer focused attention. The crew spoke respectfully, even to each other when it appeared the customers weren't looking. The crew was well organized and didn't sacrifice efficiency for speed. The team members that worked on my vehicle today were Manager Marc, Dylan, and Dominic; however, all team members seemed to work well together in a, "one hand feeds the other" fashion. Recently brought in my Jeep to Fred and Jesse for some issues I was having. They listened to what I had to say about the problems and actually had an in depth conversation about it while walking around my Jeep. I went to other places trying to figure out what was going on multiple times and with zero success; in fact their advice for how I should go about fixing it was incredibly and idiotically wrong (shop across the street). Fred and Jesse listened to what I had to say and helped me get the Jeep to riding better than I can remember it doing so in a long time. I went to get new wipers put on my truck and the technician accidentally let the wiper arm hit my windshield. OK ... stuff happens. When I noticed the next morning that my windshield had cracks and went back to the store the manager (Alexis) was very helpful. They put in a claim and the regional manager (Chris) was very responsive. They replaced the windshield using a 3rd party glass company with a genuine OEM Mopar windshield (Not cheap). They credited me for wiper cost. My hats off to the excellent service in spite of the incident. All is well that ends well. I will be going back and have gone there for a long time. read more
