Easily one of the best experiences I've ever had in a really bad circumstance. My car broke down on me, and I had it towed to the place my husband and I normally get our oil changes and tire repairs because they typically have good prices. Their prices have skyrocketed in times of inflation, and we didn't know what to do. A friend had recommended Rescue before, so my first instinct was to call them. I was surprised when no one answered, but I immediately got a text asking if they could call me back. I was convinced I had the wrong number, but the manager quickly called me back. He assured me he could beat the competitor's prices and get the car fixed quickly. He delivered! And oh my gosh, simply the nicest guy I have ever met. Friendly in the beginning. Didnt want to go through the engine to see whats wrong just gave us an estimate of what it could be. Offered us a ridiculously low price for the car and when we politely refused he was so RUDE after. Then when we sent someone to tow the vehicle out of his lot he gave the tow guy trouble as well. The Mechanic was the best I've ever had to deal with! He was very sympathetic to our situation, and really helped us out! When we got there he inspected the car and showed us what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. He worked very swiftly and we couldn't believe the car was fixed so quickly! I found Rescue late one afternoon and he fit my pre-purchase inspection into the next day. When the Greenway Ford did not show up at 9 am with the car (which is what they promised), but came in 3 hours late, he still found a way to squeeze in the inspection into a day that he told be was already booked up. If there is any fault to be placed against the owner is that he tries too hard to do anything he can to please customers. He almost didn't care about the money he was charging. It was about doing what he could to meet our needs. And he even let the dealer take the car back to the dealership without first being paid by us. THAT NEVER HAPPENS. But the dealership pressed him to do just that and he gave up the vehicle without first being paid. I am deeply impressed with owner Amina Hamadi. No complaints on the BBB website and an A+ rating is practically unheard of for an auto repair shop in Florida. And what makes that more amazing is that he has an A+ rating and is not even a BBB member! That rating is proof positive of a gem of a man and a repair shop in junkyard full of Florida repair shops made up of a limited number of good guys, and a lot of others who receive complaints from disappointed customers. I came here after looking on yelp and the location was in close proximity to where I live so it was pretty convenient. The owner, Abdel is a very nice guy and does want to do what is best for your vehicle while also saving you money. My vehicle was leaking in water when it rained and Abdel figured out how to help me and have it cost $0 with insurance. He suggested having the glass replaced first rather than going and fixing the seal because it would cost $300. While an actual glass company handled the problem, Abdel was the middle man and made it so my issue was fixed on time and correctly, even taking the time to show me exactly what was wrong. Needed a synthetic oil change for my Cadillac and everywhere else was charging 70 dollars and above where the owner gave me an estimate of 60 dollars. He fit me in the day that I called and I dropped the car off and came an hour later. I asked him to check my filters, brakes, spark plugs ext and he was very straight up with my with the condition of my car saying everything looked good and paired it with the phrase "if something's not broken don't fix it". I loved and appreciated his honesty because other mechanics would have taken the opportunity to raise my fees with unnecessary work. He ended up charging me 50 dollars for the oil change and checking all of my things. I asked if he had change for a twenty so I could tip him 10 dollars but he didn't have change so I tried to give him the 7 spare dollars I had and he appreciated the offer but in the end didn't accept the tip and just said that he appreciates my business and am always welcome to come back to his shop or call if I need anything done to my vehicle. Maybe it was because I'm a college student and was grateful and friendly I'm not sure but that was surprising. His customer service was amazing and I will definitely be coming back for future work and will be recommending everyone I know to him! We found this auto shop when my daughter's car needed a new bumper due to a fender bender. Abdul was SO nice and went above and beyond to help my daughter given that my husband and I live three hours away. He was so helpful to her working with her around her college schedule and I feel like he honestly treated her like she was his own daughter. Another time when her car needed a new motor for her windshield wipers, Abdel was there and did a great job fixing her car. He was always so helpful in ensuring that she got back to her apartment in time for her classes. A month or so ago, I was on my way to Orlando to help my daughter box up some things to bring back to South Florida during winter break when she called me and told me that she could not change the gears in her car. Given that it was 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and I was planning to help pack up my car and hers to return home for the college break that evening, I called two Acura dealers and they both told me that I would need to bring her car in but that they could not look at it until Monday. Talk about stress kicking in. When I got to my daughter's apartment, I looked at the car myself and found that it was not anything I could fix. In a panic, I called Abdel. He told me that there was a way for my daughter to do this manually until we could get the car home to get it fixed. He asked me where we were and when I told him, he said that we were only a couple of miles from his shop and that he would be there in about 15 minutes. This nice man drove to my daughter's boyfriend's apartment and showed my daughter how she could remove a small covering on the side of the gear shift and could use a key or other object to manually change the gears. He made a house call!! I am SO thankful for Abdel and have never met anyone who cares so much for other people that they will go out of their way to help in any way. When he drove away from the apartment that evening, my daughter looked at me and asked why I looked like I was going to cry...and I told her that I was so relieved and thankful for what Abdel had done for us. :).
