The food is as good as it gets out here in Big Country and rivals any of the fine dining restaurants in Abilene ( and we've tried them all). There are standing weekend specials (Shrimp Night on Thursdays, Prime Rib night on Fridays), as well as weekly specials including the popular "cocktail of the week", which is usually sinfully tasty. The servers are adept and attentive and the bartenders are great but be careful--sitting and chatting with the other locals at the bar can be addictive--you may have to keep coming back!

Today the special is chicken and spinach enchiladas. While we waited on our food, we slammed down some REALLY good chips and salsa. Great salsa can turn a good meal into a wonderful meal.
