Ron and his garage are crooks . He cost me 4,000 dollars and all kinds of troubles because he lied to us about our car. He will pay in the end. Said i needed a motor and after i trailerd it back from Michigan and brought it to a Honest mechanic all i needed was a feul injector. If your from out of state avoid them. Their crooked. If I could give Ron and his team 10 Stars, then I would! It's been a challenge to find a mechanic in this area to work on my 2006 BMW X5 that isn't a primary vehicle and Fort Mitchell Garage now has a customer for as long as we live in the area!! When I had yet another window regulator, etc bite the dust right before I was supposed to travel for work 2 straight weeks, I started calling around. At 2 other locations I contacted, I felt like I was being talked down to because I was a woman and told I'd need a full diagnostic and a lot of other additional things without them even seeing the vehicle. (I just wanted the window fixed!!!) When I spoke with Ron, I was immediately at ease and felt like I was talking to my Dad. He was patient when answering all my "dumb" vehicle questions and very understanding that I would need to drop it off and may not be able to pick it up until I returned to town. EVERY single person I spoke with on the phone was kind and caring. When my boyfriend picked up the vehicle and called me, the first thing he said was "Everyone there is so sweet and amazing!" I took my car over there, to their garage shop to get a diagnostic test, and to inform them, that I am having problems with both of my headlights, and wanted to replace them. When I went to go pick up my car, paid 316.00, only to find out that, both didn't get done, I asked them why wasn't the other one replaced, when I asked them about both? They claim? that one was only out, so they thought I didn't want both. that's a lie, that was one of the reasons why I brought my car over there. I left my car once again, so that can do the job, that they were supposed to do in the first place, replace both headlights. the next day I went to go get my car, just for them to tell me, I owe them other 200.00 dollars. For what? they said because they had to take my bumper back off, to do the other one. I asked them? why should I had to pay again? for a job that should have already been done? He then proceeds to call the police on me, because I was asking questions, lied to the police about work that was done? handed me a false receipt, because the work and his statement to the police doesn't match up. they are scammers, con artists, liars, and thieves. if I was you, I would avoid Fort Mitchell Garage at all cost. read more

We were on our way to Alabama from Ohio, and the van started to make a lot of noise and pull to the left. We pulled in to Fort Mitchell Garage and Ron came out very quickly to inspect our car for the problem. He found it right away and fixed the problem. I cannot say enough kind things about Ron, his wife and the service I received today. I was driving back to South Carolina from Ohio when, after sitting in traffic on I-75, my check engine light began flashing at me. I knew what the problem was (spark plug) and once I got off an exit and stopped at a gas station I searched for a mechanic. I called Fort Mitchell Garage and after explaining the situation they told me to bring it over and they would see if they could get it done for me. This was at 4:30pm on a Friday. Ron and the techs squeezed my car in after their other repairs were done for the day and before they closed at 6pm to get me back on the road. I am so grateful for people who are still willing to go above and beyond to help someone in need. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!!! They will charge you for service you didn't agree to. They also have a very unprofessional staff, considering I had to call them to find out What the issue was with my car, and then they performed work without my consent. I took my car to this establishment for a light that was on for a tire pressure sensor. First I took her to tire discounters where they looked at it, for free, and said that all the sensors are working it was probably a computer issue. I walked into Fort Mitchell garage and specifically told the guy that I was not willing to spend any more than $100 to COMPLETELY fix this problem in it's entirety, and that it was just a pesky light i could deal with. Right there on the spot he could've told me that he was going to perform most likely a diagnostic on the vehicle which would cost $102.60, but would not fix the problem of the car only tell him what was wrong. Or could have called me and asked to perform i the work. In which I would have walked out of the establishment because the light wasn't that big of an issue. After I had to call them ( how unprofessional for a mechanic) to find out what was wrong with my car, they informed me that they did a diagnostic and then I would need to pay an additional 250 or 650 to fix the problem in it's entirety, all this after I told him that I didn't want to spend any more than $100 to fix the problem all together. I went back out there and try to explain to the guy that I never agreed to have the diagnostic check performed. Yet they called the police on me when I took my car back. What if they would have said that they ran a $3000 test on my vehicle and that I owe them for that??? It was a complete screw job, and the staff and owners were completely and entirely unprofessional throughout the whole situation. I even have the owner on video where I recorded him saying yeah I know you told me that you weren't willing to spend 100 to fix the vehicle, yet he took the liberty to charge me 102 to inspect the vehicle?!? Ft Mitchell Garage, did an amazing job in fixing my side-view mirror, which had fallen out, while backing out of the driveway. I took our Armada to the Nissan dealership and they immediately said it would cost $865 to replace the whole mirror/motor unit, without ever taking the tape off, to at least see if there might be a less expensive way to repair it. On the way home from work, I stopped by Fort Mitchell Garage and Phil immediately checked it out, saw that there might be a way to fix it, pulled the vehicle into the garage and 20 minutes later, my side-view mirror, motor and all, was fully operational. I took my car back in April n they still have it. When I call the guy did not know who I was, would not return my calls n I know he is living. My car is still setting outside when we go by. N this is 11 weeks going on 12 n they still didn't fix it. My computer went out. When he said that the security system fired the computer. My boyfriend brought his car in last weekend. He needed his oil changed and his car was overheating but his hood was frozen shut. It took them a couple days (assuming only because the weather was so bad) but they fixed everything, including his squeaky door! Friendly staff and talented. They even offered us a ride back home. We were on our way south almost through Cincinnati when we hit a big tire tread from a truck. Our car was making a scary noise and we knew we had to have someone take a look. I looked up the nearest auto repair repair shop with good reviews and Ft. Mitchell garage showed up. The folks at Ft. Mitchell were angels in disguise. They were very kind, friendly, and professional. They were also very kind to our dog too and let her come inside with us. They took a look,the damage was minimal, and they made the necessary repairs. First must say that they are easy to locate and convenient to downtown. Dropped car off on weekend after hours and was called back two days later. AC clutch was not working and I had noted as much on the ticket, I don't have tools or time to address AC issues so it had to go to a shop. When I was called back they started by giving me a run down of other things they thought my car needed before even mentioning the AC Clutch being bad. Alleged oil leak, likely the compressor is bad, needs a dryer if you get a new compressor etc. etc. all this even though the clutch is a wear item (locked up) and there are no leaks. So after I declined a grand in additional services and requested just the ac repair I had asked for I picked up the car. AC works no worries there, looked at the bill and labor looks about right, get to the parts and WHOA!!! The AC clutch that I can get (using the part number on my bill) for 130 bucks was marked up a 100% this is a Toyota/GM part not a one off exotic??? Very disappointed you wont be getting my work again, and Ill be sure to let others know that if they do choose to be prepared for an attempted shakedown and a likely overcharge.
