The folks (Amanda & Ross) that run the camp grounds and general store were awesome. Since we were two girls camping alone we felt safe! Ross lived on the property and delivered our wood ($8/bundle). Amanda let us hold her new puppies to help socialize them. The puppies were so cute and sweet! The campsite was perfect. There was a little connecting trail behind our campsite that lead you to the cliffs and the main White Rock Mountain trail. The best spot to watch the majestic sunsets. Pictures just don't do it justice. I will definitely come back here again! This might be my new favorite campsite. The water from the spicket was delicious well water. We cooked, washed dishes, washed our hair and drank the water. The bathroom stayed clean and stocked! We had no trouble getting up the mountain but it was dry. It was an all dirt gravel road. I can imagine you might have some difficulty if it was raining or snowing. We had all wheel drive just incase but probably didn't need it on this trip. Also it can get very windy up there make sure you got some good stakes for your tent. The grill on the pit was good and we did all our cooking in the pit. Plenty of trails! The White Rock Trail that goes around the plateau/ cliffs of the mountain was easy, pleasant and gourgious!

It was perfect for our family of five, plenty of trees for our hammocks and enough space to play catch without bothering anyone. The trail was overgrown, but beautiful views. I don't recommend going on the trail with small children because it gets very narrow and easy to fall. At night raccoons did bump our tent, the firefly's were a sight to see and we had deer visit during the day. The campsite site and bathroom were clean and the staff maintained their presence throughout the campground. There is a cute little store with such friendly staff, we went back for ice cream! I did underestimate the rough terrain getting there along with the road being very narrow in some spots. So drive slow and be careful because there are blind spots. Overall, I would come again in the fall vice summer.

We hike, bike, float, and off road and this place is prime for river floats and off roading. One of the most beautiful waterfall hikes (Devils Den) is right up the road as well. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. There is a mile of river front where you can camp (tents, vans, small trailers) and plenty of large RV spots in the main area (50 ft from water). Oh and the owner brings her kangaroo on Saturdays who is so friendly and can be pet. If you need a shuttle for your float the owner can help you out (spots to float 15, 8 or 3 miles) and bring your ATV bc there is a ton of trails on the property. All the campers have been really nice and respectful of quiet hours too.

The RV campground is right next to the mulberry river, and has a very peaceful vibe; it feels like camping in the forest. All hook ups were in good condition; electrical was new, and the campground was clean. There are a lot of nearby nature activities - kayaking, off roading, hiking, etc., and our kids had a blast playing on the river bank. The owners are very warm and genuine, and made us feel like family. We highly recommend this RV site if you ever find yourself in Arkansas.

The site is a state park and includes camping sites, playgrounds, boats for rent on the lake, fishing on the lake, a state park visitors Lodge, camping accommodations, lodges, campground, accommodations, playgrounds, hiking trails, and more. Bald eagles are easy to spot in the area and the state park offers a marina tour that takes guests out in season to not only take a tour around the lake and learn about the history and the beauty of the area, but also observe the wildlife and the birds naturally live in this area. Often times, eagles are spotted on these Excursions.

Natural Falls State Park is located in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, 6 miles from the border with…read moreArkansas. If you're coming to Natural Falls for barbecuing, picnicking, short hiking, lounging around and camping...then this park is for you. I was scrolling through Google Maps and discovered a photo that looked intriguing. It was a picture of a 77 foot plunging waterfall among a scenic backdrop known as Ozark Springs. This Ozark Springs waterfall is the #1 top highlight at the park. The rest of the activities (I believe) are side compliments. So...if you're passing through West Siloam Springs, it could be worthwhile to check out Ozark Springs, and it doesn't take long to do. The trails map says 45 minutes, but it can be finished in less. The walk to the falls is half a mile at the most. You can find Ozark Springs along the Dripping Springs Trail. There are two parts to capturing views. First is from an overlook point high above. After completing this lookout spot, then it's 47 steps down to the bottom. The base of Ozark Falls has a boardwalk pathway leading you in front of the waterfall. I was tempted to step off the boardwalk to avoid the hand railing when taking pictures, but that wasn't not allowed. Also unfortunately, they don't permit swimming in the pool that Ozark Falls splashes into. But the waters appeared refreshing. You can connect Dripping Springs Trail with Ghost Coon Trail to combine two hikes in one. Or otherwise you can return to the Dripping Springs Trailhead and either choose another pathway or hang out, have lunch and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There are a few other trails you can consider, but they're nothing dramatic. - Fox Den Trail - 1.5 miles to a "rock overhang and cavern area". - Bear Trail - hardly a hike but leads to Ozark Springs and intersects with Dripping Springs Trail. - Pine Ridge Trail - 3/4th's of a mile that navigates the perimeter of Natural Falls Park. It's $10 entrance fee for a day pass. You can pay at the Visitor Center. Plus inside the VC, you can purchase souvenirs from a small selection of items or buy snacks and drinks if you haven't arrived prepared. I noticed they have a lot of space for camping. Although I didn't spend a night here, the conditions for sleeping outdoors looked inviting. Btw...while walking along Ghost Coon Trail, I passed by these Yurts, or I'd describe them as huts accommodative for "glamping" or glorified camping. It's like upscale camping staying in tent - cabins. There may have been 5 - 6 yurts located beside the grass edge of the forest and pleasant looking for enjoying the great outdoors. Overall, Natural Falls State Park has a quiet setting and is fine for taking a few hours to breathe in fresh air, especially if you're in no hurry. Although I wanted more challenging hiking trails and activities to keep me occupied, I was okay with taking a lazy day to appreciate nature.

The cave system here has numerous places for exploration. The hiking trails are well-maintained and offer wonderful exploration opportunities, including to waterfalls, water features plus high vantage points with a great view looking out over the scenery below. All of this is offered to the Ozark Mountains and free of charge, as the state parks offer visits for free sponsored by the state of Arkansas. This is a favorite place of ours to go, and we come at least once a year - usually in the spring and often times we will come a second or third time during the year in the fall too. For those who enjoy the great outdoors, this is not a place to be missed.

We have ridden for up to 8 hours and traveled over 30 miles encountering horseback riders, other atv riders, mountainbike riders, hikers and campers in the woods. The scenery is beautiful along Lee Creek and you have many opportunities to cross the creek on the trails. Some of the terrain is rough and rocky and beware of the mud puddles...if you cannot see the bottom, do not try to go through. We sunk a couple to the seat! Not only great for atv but hiking and taking in the swimming holes is a must. The scenery is great.
