It is a short driving distance to three very good wineries and the beautiful St. Mary's Church overlooking Altus. It is secluded away from highway nose, yet close enough to gas and dining options. You can't beat the value of the site. Good for pets and has nice walking trails. Owner is very nice! We just had a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend!

They've been there for over two years now and the park doesn't seem to care that they are permanent there. They still treat them like crap. My daughter is professional and sensitive and caring of others and doesn't deserve what they're doing. Basically they got mad at her for telling someone not to speed through the park and said that it's their job to do that but they don't do it.

They also have a separate swing set which is nice for older kids to sit on and listen to something. In the same area they have a pavilion which has chess, checkers, a grill, and several picnic tables. The chess board can occupy people for a while. Second of all, the staff is nice and friendly. I went in to get a cup of ice and they went and got a cup of ice. Next, they have two separate pools. One that has a game room and is twenty-one and over. The other one was family friendly and was next to the playground. It also had a small splash pad. The showers were clean. Most of them had hooks except for shower one. Also, the park had two areas. One for the long term RVers and one for the people who were only going to stay a few nights. The cabins and treehouses from what I could see were nice. In addition, it is not far from the town but not inside it which gives a sense of peace. If you are a mountain biker or hiker it is not far from the hill/mountain. Finally, the staff were very accommodating. We needed two extra nights and they were so nice and let us have those nights. When we left without our things on the table, they called and asked if we forgot them. And when we were confused they said that we were supposed to leave that morning. We said we needed another night, then they were able to accommodate the change. Overall, an amazing place and experience.

This is certainly not a resort, and is at least a quarter mile from White River, feeding Beaver Lake. Pretty Large RV PK, With Many Permanent Residents. No sign at entrance, and we passed it by winding around a neighborhood of houses that was between the RV Park and the true water's Edge. Verizon signal was good at 3 jiggers; and stronger than their wifi. We were about 100 yds from nice new looking bathhouse which had wifi antenna with good reception at bathhouse but weak at our camper. Supposedly there are repeaters to amplify the WiFi signal, but they were not operational. We got by streaming YouTube TV through our Verizon Hotspot on our phones. We had to buy an extra sewer hose to connect to sewer, as it was placed so far toward entrance of the site, rather than toward rear of site where electric and water were appropriately placed. Nice courteous staff. We were on a level, narrow concrete pad; ~half of sites were gravel; no picnic table.

The campground is essentially a very large grassy field. Theres limited shade and no outdoor picnic benches. There are several liquor stores nearby and a short drive to Walmart. Waking to the sound of birds singing was wonderful. We saw cardinals, robins and geese. So peaceful and beautiful, there was no rush to go anywhere just enjoy the surroundings. We called at the last minute for a reservation and Wendi made it happen. She's one of the few Park managers that said she'd call us back and actually did since we've been RVing. This park is nestled in the trees with no Mountain View. There's a clubhouse with lots of fans, swings, rocking chairs and a picnic table. Everything is very clean. There's no pool. You can swing, ride a bike or walk. There is a pool table and a puzzle making area and horseshoes that might interest you. The people are very friendly and offer help if you need them. I wish there was a playground for the kids or a pool or something. The laundry room is large and conveniently placed in the shower building. There's a large dumpster for trash. Shower room is clean and decorated. All in all, we've enjoyed our stay. Wendi has been so helpful. We'll be back and we'll tell our friends...and you.

It's a small place but just great. That gets a 5 star rating. The lady at the front desk was curt. My wife had to quiz her to get any info. She was short. We wanted to do a river trip, but ended up going with a competitor with friendly and helpful staff. Another problem... power went out at night. We called the office and left a message to call us when they opened. We called the emergency number and got a message that no messages could be left... goodbye... After 8 AM we called the office again and got the same, no message could be left, goodbye. Never heard back from anyone. In all fairness, there were two people behind the desk. One seems nice. This reflects the fact that one employee can ruin the entire experience.
