Miguel hooked me up with a great estimate that would include fixing everything mentioned, a paint correction and fixing the small hail damage on my roof, hood and trunk. Turnaround time was about a 1.5 weeks. Quality was incredible; the paint was dealership quality. Communication was good as well. Despite the long drive from Plano to the shop in Arlington, the price, quality and overall service well made up for it.

So we called a tow truck to have it lifted to Park Place. It was way after hours on a Sunday so It was a crap shoot. Called Alcantar, was quoted $80 over the phone and about an hour wait. Well the wait was about a half hour so that was super good. The driver was nice, pleasant, and worked a miracle to get that 5000 pound beast on the flat bed. Wiggled it and wriggled it until it was up. Got it to the dealership a few miles up the road, and wiggled it off the truck. Now here is what went bad. Was quoted $80, We were charged $115, still have the receipt. I did inform them the car was a lock out and the car could not be placed in neutral and asked for the worst case scenario price and was told $80. Not going to argue though because the driver did an excellent job of getting there in a timely manner, on a Sunday, and handled the car with kid gloves. Was probably worth $150 since it was Mother's Day and after 6 pm. I am rating it a 4 though the next time, I would expect the price quoted to be the price paid and allow me to decide the tip, not just upcharge me.

I bought a 23' Escalade V from Hurst Autoplex in January, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. When the car arrived, it had visible damage to the hood and front lower fender that was never disclosed by the sales team. More concerning, I immediately noticed a steering wheel shake when I first drove the SUV. I raised this issue with the salesperson (LA) he assured me that everything was fine and "passed inspections". That assurance turned out to be completely inaccurate. After getting the vehicle inspected by a local shop near me, the findings: - One wheel was bent and out of balance - Another wheel had already been repaired and required excessive weight to rebalance (terrible weld job) - Additional tire repositioning was needed due to irregularities The final recommendation: replace all wheels and tires This is not normal wear and tear - this was an issue on a $100K+ Escalade that should have been fully disclosed or taken care of prior to sale. I gave the dealership the opportunity to make things right, but after some initial communication, I was ultimately ghosted by Esther E and Kevin S. I was forced to spend an additional $7,000 out-of-pocket to replace the wheels and tires. Do your due diligence. If you're buying from out of state, do not rely on verbal assurances. Get a third-party inspection before purchase. This experience showed a clear lack of transparency and accountability, they presented well on Instagram but the reality wasn't the same. I made the mistake of contracting with Robert 'Pepper' Rackstraw to work on my 2002 Honda VTX 1800…read morebecause he offered to pick up and deliver the bike, as a new rider that was a huge benefit. When he picked up my bike, he recommended I come to his shop to 'check it out', it didn't register at the time, but you'll find out later why he did that. My fork seals were shot that was $200 the tune-up on the bike was $600 that would include all new brake pads, brake flush, fluid check/ flush. He was also to revert to original Honda handlebars and risers and speedometer $600 in parts and labor, which he asked for the money upfront via PayPal (I was foolish and paid as a friend so I had no recourse, that's on me) which did make me suspicious as most mechanics collect the total once the work is completed. I gave him the bike 1/21/22, I didn't receive it back until (get this) April fool's day 2022. He asked for payment in full b4 he returned the bike saying he was short on rent (another red flag) then he told me that he paid for the speedometer base out of pocket for $100 no charge, I later called him on this lie via my review on his FB page and heard cricket's aka guilt. He did install the handlebars, speedometer, and crash bars, fork seals seemed OK, although the bars were not fully tightened and when I revved the bike, they shifted almost causing me to lose control of the 800lb monster. The handlebars had a scrape on them he probably got used not from the dealer like he said. He completely forgot to install the brake flasher mod and kept the part and didn't return it to me (theft). The brakes were not done at all, nor were the fluids changes as promised. When I contacted him about the brakes still missing a bolt on the rear pads and the brake light not working on the rear brakes he told me to bring the bike back to the shop after I reinstated that I'm a beginner rider and a 40 mile ride was out of the question he still insisted. After a month of him scheduling a pick up time and not showing or not calling I realized that he was an immoral person and posted a negative review on his FB page where he attacked me personally and made no effort to remedy. When I asked him for a refund, he said you saw the sign in my shop, no refunds on labor, I asked 'even if you didn't do what you were supposed to' and he said yes, I told him he was the reason the worlds in the state of moral decay that it is and he replied 'good riddance'. He also never returned my parts, he is a liar, a cheat, and a thief, use a reputable dealer instead.
