I was in to buy a helmet which they had in stock and my size. While in there I lamented that several other shops and dealerships could not get me a part listed in the EBC catalog but Mr Nathan said he'd figure it out and make it happen and he did. He arranged for one of his parts distributors to special order it and got parts I was told I couldn't get. I had to pay in advance which is understandable and they took a couple months from Europe but they made it in and a bike I had sitting now is back road worthy. Good job cycle gear ft worth. You should not be begging me to use your credit application and lending services when I already told you what I was doing. Here's the worst part. Bill of sale shows $5200 as the base price. Now I understand taxes, title, registration etc. But for that price to be one $8000 from a LOAD of dealer fees is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. You tried to take advantage of someone young looking for their first bike. It cost you the sale. I'm not dumb and you won't be given the opportunity to treat me like I am for your financial gain, so you will not be getting my business. Do better. I've gladly got a deal setup elsewhere for the same bike.

On…read moremy very first ride afterward, I crashed because the handlebars hadn't been tightened properly -- one handlebar snapped and my saddle bent. I sustained a serious knee injury along with cuts and bruises, and months later, I'm still dealing with knee issues from that crash. When I called to report the crash, the response was "oh shit." To their credit, they promptly repaired the handlebars and attempted to fix the saddle, though it remained slightly uneven. They told me to reach back out if the saddle became a problem. A couple months later, the saddle issue did start affecting my longer rides, so I called as instructed. I wasn't looking for a free replacement -- just guidance on getting a new saddle, or possibly a discount given the circumstances. Instead, I was met with skepticism about whether the original service even happened, then told flatly that they "weren't going to pay for my saddle" -- something I never asked for. The manager was dismissive, unprofessional, and flat out rude throughout the call. I never pursued any formal action over the crash, despite a real injury, and gave the shop room to make things right. That wasn't reciprocated. Given the severity of what happened and how it was ultimately handled, I can't recommend this shop and won't be returning.

They always have some good clearance racks in stock and they always give military discounts which is helpful. Mu first bike came from Sun & Ski, a mountain bike, they offer free labor when you buy your bike there, I believe they still do, it's worth asking about it. The service area is so helpful when I need help with the aging bike. A few times I've brought parts in for some simple help and they didn't even charge me for it. They even helped me find a place online to find parts that they don't carry. They do cycle their stock based on the seasons, ski items do show up in this store, but it's limited and distinct to the winter time. It's a good store and has some good staff.

The shop will occasionally host gatherings in the back or organize events that bring the community together and it's their everyone-is-welcome attitude that makes them so cool. Breanna is usually at the store and it's inspiring to hear her talk about the rides she's taken and her love for motorcycles in general. Even a non-biker like myself has never felt out of place and I've had plenty of great times just hanging out with them. If you're ever in the stockyards drop in --they have a ton of cool stuff to check out and constantly get more. If nothing else, they're just great people to meet.

It's easy to enter a conversation with any of them and when asked, they give advice as if they were talking to one of their own friends. The whole atmosphere is easy-going like a place you go to hang out. You don't feel the pressure to buy anything, everyone is there to be helpful. My husband bought a leather vest and got a patch sewn on, then later he picked up a gray t-shirt. That is why I'll keep going back and why I give this five star review. Such personal service. So cool story, we kept buying stuff for the bike...we had bought a pricey helmet that took a bite out of our wallet, so money was tight, but we still wanted to go to Wilson's. We went and I picked up a sticker and we took money out to pay for it. However, the old man cashier we had talked to earlier about our recent purchases and such...He told us, "No, just take it. It's free." This old man seller was very sweet and made my day. :)
