Bought a new yz125 there in August . I was sold what they called a warranty for $900.00. It turned out to be an extendend service plan that didn't cover much of anything that would be serviced on a dirt bike. It had 2 huge paragraphs of exclusions. When I called the sales manager, he was horribly rude and condescending. He told me I should have read the fine print at the dealership and it was my fault. I had to get a regional person invilved before I was provided with the refund paper work. Luckily Texas law provides 90 day to cancel these type scammy things. I cancelled it in 8/19/25 as of today 11/17/25 still no refund. Their main office keeps telling me that the "warranty company" sends them a physical check ... it takes a while... be patient. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! They also signed me up for a Yamaha credit card instead of regular financing. I have an 830 credit score. PREDATORY!!!!!!!!!! AVOID at all costs. read more

Absolutely unprofessional. I went in to look for myself and a partner and they had a z125 minibike (Kawi's version of the Grom) for $1991. 2020 model with almost 6,000 miles. When I asked for out the door pricing they managed to double the price to over $4,200 by adding over 1,800 in fees to "go over the bike" and provide a lifetime warranty on the battery. That's right campers, they tried to charge more for a 5 year old high mileage minibike than msrp for a new one. You can get a brand new 0 mileage one out the door for 4,600. As a girl and a new rider it's always fun walking into a dealership... you never really know what to expect. I worked with Carlos (sales), Ryan and Brian (finance and manager) and Dave (delivery) on the purchase of my 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 w/ ABS. They had a fair freight charge compared to other power sports dealers in the area and trust me, I looked everywhere in DFW for this specific bike. They offered to get it shipped from AZ to TX for me and trade their AZ location for another toy. There was a little hiccup with the delivery of my bike however. It took about two weeks instead of 4-7 days like originally planned. The delivery guy broke down out of state and so there was a little dilemma there for me just as an impatient woman lol. I just stayed persistent and made sure the FW RideNow guys didn't forget about me. Dave worked with me to ensure I was updated on the delivery and even went in after hours to make sure my bike got delivered and was safe inside the shop. Delivery guy was also so sweet and rode my bike off the ramp, through the gravel and parked it on the street because I was a little nervous to be on gravel as a new rider. I'd recommend FW RideNow to my friends, but I'd say as a buyer just be aware of what you're buying by knowing what to look for and be your own advocate. Tried to negotiate with a salesman over the phone about a bike. I had already been in talks with a Plano dealership for the same bike. I was even given a purchase order for an out the door price on the Plano bike. Unfortunately the salesman here could not do that and would not do that. Didn't return my calls, and when he did it was like he had forgotten every conversation we had. Another thing too is the bike here 1000$ cheaper from dealer msrp compared to the Plano bike, but every "quote" they gave me matched the Plano purchase order. The man was dodgy over the phone talking about making a deal and yet he couldn't give me anything in writing, yes was pushing very hard for me to provide a down payment to secure the bike. took my bike in for an oil change and discussion about 2 switches that were working before they did a front fork seal replacement on my GL1800. After having my bike in their shop for 2 weeks - they did NOT change my oil but charged me $200 for "diagnosis". Never take your bike there. They used to be good with customer service. but they won't answer the phone nor will they return calls. but 2 weeks to tell me I had two bad switches that I already knew were bad is ... well ... Moreover - they had to remove that switch panel to gain access to the front fork seals and yep ... they were working just fine bf I brought it in. damn. read more

We walked in with a price / deal already worked out ( because we live two hours away ). Todd persisted on not knowing anything about our prearrangement. Called RideNow North Fort Worth and was told the person I needed to talk to was busy and would call me back. After waiting 3 hours I called back and was told he never received a message to call me. Brought the bike in and explained what was needed. Called the next day to make sure they knew why it was there and was told they couldn't find the bike. It was not until the end of the day when they found it but it had no note as to why it was there. For the 5th time explained we needed an estimate for repairs. Next day got a call bike had been inspected and would get a call about the estimate. Never got a call so 45 mins before closing called and told he wanted to wait 3 days, the next business day, and go over the estimate. We told him no, we would come get the bike and estimate as we needed to get some other estimtes before deciding on repairs. Explained we would be there in 10 mins. When we arrived, were told the person who did the estimate was talking to the GM and we would have to wait. After several mins I asked if the estimate was available and he said he would check. Came back and was told person who checked the bike had it and was still unavailable. Told him we wanted the estimate now and this time he got it for us however it did not include labor cost. When I asked about this was told labor cost was not included since I didn't want them doing the repair. Given the bill for the inspection of damages and it included a $35 fee which turned out to be for towels. The bike was not taken apart. Was billed $100 more than what was quoted for the estimate. Told them I would not have them ever work on the bike and left. read more

I hauled my sxs back from my property in Arkansas because I needed service and I wanted to bring it to what I thought was a top notch place. I agreed to a $200 diagnostic fee even though that is ridiculous because I assumed I was getting dealership quality. When they called me it ended up being a starter issue and that it would be almost $1300 to replace it($48 part). I asked to come get it because I wasn't prepared to make that repair at the time due to the price. When I came to pick it up I paid the $200 diagnostic fee. When they brought my sxs out it wasn't even put back together. Plastic body parts were in the dump bed. I brought it to the attention of the employees and they handed me a ziplock bag of screws and told me I could put it back together when I got home. I called and spoke with the general manager and he stated he was new so he would have the service manager call me. And then they ghosted me. If you think you are going to bring your machines here and get great service and pay more for it you are wrong. You will pay more for it and you will get shit in return. I got the starter replaced for half the price at XIT in North Richland Hills. That will be who gets my business going forward. If I could give these no stars I would. read more

My '21 Talon battery failed (after only 2 years) and I needed one for an upcoming trip in Arkansas. I decided I wanted to buy in person because there are apparently some counterfeit batteries on line. Power Sports in Burleson didn't have what I needed so later I called Freedom in FW and talked to Stacie. She told me that they didn't have one and they were on back order. After explaining my fairly immediate need of a battery she took my name and number and said that she would try to find one for me and would call me if successful. I didn't really expect a call back because I've never had a return call after being told something like that. In less than 10 minutes, Stacie called me back and had found what I needed in Arlington. Since I was driving, out of the metroplex, I told her that I would go get it the next day. She then said that she would call them back and have them put my name on it. Arlington was in the opposite direction of where I was headed but I could get there in 15 minutes so I decided to just go get the battery and be done with it. Sure enough, parts had a battery waiting for me. Thanks Stacie! Since I was driving I was not in a position to look up phone numbers, make calls etc. Good customer service is hard to find these days but Stacie came through for me. Brandon was a great salesperson, always treated me fairly, explained everything about the purchase before any paperwork signed. The parts and service were top notch, always felt respected when I went in. But in the past year, I've gone by there a couple times to look at some new toys. I didn't like the people working there now. Not true friendly just wanted to push you into a sell and not really helpful at all. I took my Polaris 570 in for its first 25 hr/400km break in service. My ATV is at 29 miles Which is just an oil change and check gear case oils according to the Polaris maintenance schedule. The dealer where I bought it Oklahoma quoted $120 when I called them afterwards. Purchased a new Ninja 400 on August the 20th 2020. Our salesman Carlos, was amazing and the only downside to having to give this review as he was genuinely a great guy and a huge help. We had given our information the day before and asked what the best rate was and when he told us what it was, we instructed him to proceed to apply for that rate for us. In less than a half hour we were approved for that rate and we picked the bike up the next day. After a week we received a rejection letter from a credit union that didn't even loan on sport bikes and a credit card from Kawasaki. We contacted the store and was told by the lady in finance that it was policy to apply for the card and that it was also policy to send out multiple credit request (even to lenders who don't even loan on what your buying apparently). We were contacted by the corporate office a few days later where we again voiced our frustration at their poor business practices and was told that the issue would be addressed. We never heard back. Today, over a month later, we received another letter declining our credit based on insufficient down payment and insufficient collateral value... I called the Store manager who is extremely rude and again I was told that this is the practice at Freedom Powersports. Bottom line, Carlos was wonderful and it is a shame that he doesn't work somewhere else because I will never again allow these people to destroy my credit rating with their terrible business practices. read more

Unfortunately I did not end up purchasing from Freedom Powersports because they did not have the exact bike that I wanted, and being that it was discontinued (2018 is the last year of the KLR) there was no way to get another one. That being said, I will still recommend Kayla and Freedom (even over the dealer I actually bought from, which is another story I won't get into here). Her communication is excellent and she really seems to genuinely care about her customers. She keeps you in the loop during the entire process and does her best to earn your business. By far the worst customer service ever. With the exception of Zach in service. Everyone else refuses to help I got hit and bike was totaled. I cancelled the extended warranty and maintenance over a month and a half ago still no refund. I have called every week to get info on when it will happen. Each week they take my info down and will call me back yet to get a call back or any information. When I bought parts. I was trying to talk to someone in service. He could even get off his phone and come to the counter help me out I need a new bike after my was totaled. But I assure you I will never come back here again. They don't care about how they treat their customers. I would rather pay more for a bike at a place that cares about the customer more than the sale. I purchased a 2018 Polaris Slingshot SLR at this location and it was a great experience from start to finish. The salesman I worked with J-Rod(Jerod) was fantastic, and so was the rest of the team on site the day I purchased. I came to look at a couple models the weekend before and they were hosting a very busy BMW demo event but I was greeted by freedom staff, J-Rod helped me that day, answering questions, and the other staff was awesome as well. I've since returned for maintenance and accessories and have never had a problem. If you are in the market for a bike, trike, or jet ski, these guys and gals will absolutely take care of you. I took a Kawasaki Sport bike here for a simple battery replacement along with chain and sprockets replacement. Horrible Service, it took 2 months to get done and I was lied to multiple times by the technicians and advisors. First they told me my bike was running good and ready for pickup and I get there only to find out they hadn't performed the battery service at all and it was still dead and I can pick it up the following week. Then I get a call saying they replaced the battery but now they can't get it to start and wanna charge me $250 for a diagnosis when they told me 2 weeks earlier it was running fine. Caution to whoever wants service from this place, expect extra long wait times and spending more money than you ever planned to because of poor service and communication. read more

Terrible place to do business. I bought my first motorcycle here. Thought it would be a great experience. Turns out they're ok selling me a bike with a plug in the rear tire. From some research, I found this is not a safe practice. I reached out to afford them then opportunity to correct the problem. They called me a liar and said I must've plugged it. That it wasn't possible their techs missed it upon inspection. He indicated they don't make mistakes. I have been in the automotive industry for 10 years and have seen mistakes get made. They could have had a long term customer and instead will never get my business over the cost of a new tire. Not only did the general manager call me a liar, he made me wait three business days and never called me back. I had to call him just to be insulted. I will buy my new tire at a good dealership and be happy to pay for it. In response to your comment: If this is Kevin L as in the president of the company, I sent you a message to your Facebook account with my phone number. And I am sure your GM has my number. He just didn't want to dial it and do the right thing. It is not about money, which he thought it was. It was about your team doing the right thing. I am not happy that I am about to spend nearly $1,000 on two new tires and 5,000 mile service and safety inspection because your GMs behavior called your teams competence into question. However, when I go to the Harley Dealership where I live, they treat me right. I have spent nearly $1,200 on apparel and other items with them since I purchased the bike from your team. Perhaps that could have been your revenue if not for your GM. I was already called a liar by your general manager. He accused me of damaging the tire and plugging it myself all as a part of some elaborate plan to get a free tire out of you. The truth is one of two things happened. Your tech either missed the tire plug upon inspection and it was accidentally sold to me. Or it was ignored on purpose to save the dealership a few bucks and still charge me over $500 for setup fees. I have already made an appointment with a dealer to replace my front and rear tires as your general manager made it abundantly clear he was unwilling to help. I didn't question anyone's ethics when I called to see if you could fix what I assumed was an error. But your GM was more than happy to question mine. Your reply to my original post is just to save face for anyone who might read the post and they can see you made an effort to resolve the problem. Truth is, I could call, but you will not fix it. Sadly, I am now going to have another dealer do a full inspection since I no longer trust that the motorcycle was inspected properly before you sold it to an unsuspecting customer. Luckily, I was not injured as a result of your shops oversight. If you would like to offer to pay for my rear tire which I am buying elsewhere, please post on here. If not, please stop with the generic response. Customer service is not your number one priority. If it was, your GM would not accuse me of lying and send me on my way. Good luck. So I registered for the Goldwing ride over a week ago and haven't heard anything back from anyone about the ride. When you register you get a notice saying "Thanks for registering. Someone will get back to you shortly." I stopped in yesterday to ask some questions about the ride and to my dismay no one could give me any really good answers. They mostly said "oh it's a marketing thing and they don't tell us much." They had no idea how many were coming to the ride, who might be leading the group, what route we would be taking, not really sure what was going to be served for breakfast much less lunch, etc. You would think if you're organizing an event you would be smart enough to inform your sales people on the floor with details about the event! The people on the floor are the ones that interact with the public! REALLY DISAPPOINTED. read more
