Goodland Plumbling sent a plumber out at our request to give us a quote for replacing two 15…read moreyear-old "On Demand" water heaters. He spent 5 minutes looking at the old units and then said he was done and he wanted the $150 check which they required for a quote visit. We never got a quote. After waiting about 5 weeks and hiring another good contractor who did a great job, I contacted the original person I spoke to at Goodland via phone text and said that we should get our $150 back. She texted back and agreed and explained that she was swamped with work and it was her fault that we never got a quote. She promised to return our money. Now, 3 weeks later, after several follow-up texts from me, Goodland has ghosted us. I will file complaint with the State Contractor's Licensing Board and possibly take legal action; But, I am guessing that the Contractor Licensing Board has bigger issues to deal with than me being ripped off for $150. Beware of Goodland Plumbing and their demand for $150 in order to give you a "quote" for plumbing work.

Countertop person came over to measure and he informed me that there would be a fee of $150 to get a quote. It was an automatic turn off. No other companies do this. It should have been mentioned before we even booked the appointment. He gave me a ballpark number that was at least 7k to 10k over the company I intend to use. Appointment was a waste of time. I purchased a full suite of luxury appliances from their showroom. Within 9 months, my Frigidaire Professional refrigerator developed massive subsurface robotic S-waves and dimples across the doors.The authorized field technician physically inspected the unit and verified the stainless steel skin remains 100% glass-smooth to the touch, formally documenting that structural 'ribbing is forming' from underneath the panel skin. This is an internal manufacturing material failure.Yet, WDC Customer Care just sent me an email hiding behind a ridiculous corporate loophole, claiming this internal structural collapse is 'cosmetic' and only covered for 7 days after delivery. They expect me to live with a warped, structurally defective multi-thousand-dollar appliance suite. Do not buy from WDC--once they take your money, they will not protect you from manufacturer corporate runarounds

We picked one and purchased it. On the delivery day, the install staff said they required 1 x 110 for the washer and 1 x 220v outlets. Since there is only 1 x 210v, the washer cannot be installed. I called Josh for options while the installers are still on premise. Josh said there is only one small model with 1 required plug and the restocking fee is about 20% to 25% if we return the purchased unit, no other option available/offered/suggested. Although the installers suggested that we could tap a closed by outlet to install a 110v outlet for the washer. Josh just said he will look into the new unit if we decided to exchange it and he will be in the office till 6 PM. This experience really leaves us a bad taste and disappointment to do business with WDC.

The work was all done on time and as quoted. He also recommended an excellent plumber (Max Selzer, yelp review pending) when it was clear that ours wasn't up to the task. Overall a great experience and I recommend Brett without hesitation.
