We bought a washer here and got the extended warranty. The washer is not working so we contacted the extended warranty people and set up a time for them to come fix it. After sitting home from 7 - 10am we called and said where the heck are you? The warranty fix it people said they had rescheduled our service call WITHOUT TELLING US. Never, ever, ever buy an extended warranty. Save your money and pay for any needed repairs yourself. Shame on WSC for selling extended warranties with useless companies. read more

I bought a Miele washer and dryer and the items were way smaller than expected. I called them the same day that it was delivered and after lots of efforts found no support from them......not even calling Miele to request a return. This effort cost me $1000. to sell the one that WDC sold me and that they wouldn't take back. I learned and bought another unit from Costco and they allow returns. WDC Kitchen & Bath has been our go-to appliance source for more years than I can remember. Our most recent visit in April was another 5-Star experience when our 16 year old Bosch refrigerator finally started to fail. We have been very happy with our Bosch appliances, so we headed back to WDC and found the same but current model. Josh and Kathryn were tremendous in making the whole experience a painless pleasure, and the delivery and set-up crew were so professional, leaving our home unscathed while moving that monolith in. Still haven't received our refund on our dishwasher and no one returns calls. It's been weeks.

We discovered our refrigerator wasn't working 4:30pm Tuesday before Christmas. We measured the width of our Bosch at 36" but in our rush didn't measure height. Some of the refrigerators we liked were 72" and we were concerned they wouldn't fit. I was lucky to have a picture of my kitchen on my phone and the manager there was able to identify our model as being 70". Last thing we wanted was having a replacement that wouldn't fit into our kitchen. Being so close to Christmas we wanted to get our refrigerator replaced as soon as possible. Johnathan was great. He was very careful and rechecked the picture of ours several times and pointed out since it was right next to a wall some of the refrigerators that were right height had deeper doors that would hit the wall when it was opened. We really appreciate all his help to make we got the a refrigerator that would fit. We've bought other appliances from WDC but really especially grateful to the attentive service we received from Jonathan. Making a stressful evening go smoothly. read more

Should have read the reviews before I went through WDC to purchase my bathroom hardware. The intitial consultation was helpful but the follow through has been horrible. Extensive delays on delivery, no updates as promised, when I inquire by phone I receive emails in return. My whole project is on hold because of the hardware I ordered through WDC with no guarantee of an end-date in sight. I will never do business with WDC again. read more

The guy they choose to do installation (Mark A Laudon) lost the sale for them. Julian Gutierrez was very helpful in selecting the right stove and oven for my house. He gave me Laudon's phone number for inspecting my site to ensure it would fit and that I had the proper electrical connections, and then to install. I called Laudon, he said he was in his truck, so I should text him photos and my address, and he would call me back, which I did immediately. After two days with no response I texted him again. After a week, still no response. I decided to shop elsewhere and found the identical items at Best Buy. I texted Laudon and informed him that he had lost the sale for WDC. Now, for the first time, he finally decides to respond: "Good for you." I am wary of buying such big ticket items without confidence in how they are installed and whether there will be good after-purchase service. The installers for Best Buy have been more than professional. Unless WDC makes some changes and provides better installation services, I won't be returning to them. read more

Very poor customer service. WDC has gone down hill, like many American corporations. DON'T BUY HERE! Go to Reid's Appliances! We recently purchased a $3,000 Speed Queen dryer unit from the sales agent Johnny, who claimed this was the best dryer money can buy. And he's doesn't even work there any longer! After two weeks of normal use, the dryer started making a horrible metal clanking sound. Clearly a manufacturer defect. I requested a new unit based on the fact this unit has a manufactures defect. WDC took 2 weeks to get a certified Speed Queen technician out to assess the damage. The technician determined it was a manufacture defect. It's literally been over a month since I reached out to WDC about this initially and some person named Maritza keeps texting me about delays with Speed Queen in regard to shipping the parts. What a lovely metal clanking sound for a month and it's the holidays with guests and family here! WDC is completely worthless these days and they just ignore long term customers who have spent thousands of dollars on appliances at their store. Get it together!! If only there were negative stars. From the long delivery delay (which we tried to alleviate by "upgrading" to higher cost items at the salesman's suggestion) to the post purchase customer service, WDC has been a nightmare. When our $2,500 Thermador Dishwasher stopped working after just over a year (during the warranty period) we were told to contact Thermador, who provided us with their authorized servicers, who were in turn told they couldn't get the parts needed for the repair. WDC did not try to intervene or help in any way. Since then WDC has been authorized by Thermador to replace the unit. That was 3 months ago. It seems that they keep getting put on backorder. Hmm. Checked with another Thermador retailer in Santa Barbara, and they have the same unit in stock. WDC doesn't give a rat's ass about their customers, once they get your payment you are on your own. read more

This is a mixed review. The staff in the actual store are not at all helpful and seem like they're trained to avoid eye contact with customers. I spoke to multiple staff over the course of a week. I had a simple question about an appliance I wanted to order and each person I spoke to promised to get back to me ASAP. I got sick of getting the run around and finally called the Internet sales department at the 888 phone number. The staff in that department are professional, super helpful, and actually call you back when they say they will. The prices are good which is why I stuck it out and ordered online once my question was answered. Btw, it's been a week and no one from the store ever called me back. The sale went great. Paid for my range and micro in full. Was given a delivery date. Then the problems started waited all day for acall or contact when no contact was made We tried to call, they would pick up the phone and hang up without saying anything after an hour of trying we gave up. We live 25 miles from the store but drove in was told they were too busy to answer, but gave us a new delivery date. the same thing happened a second time so we drove 25 miles ea. way again I was told again they were too busy to answer phone there was two sales people and one customer the taller male was playing on the computer. When I told him I wish we would read the negative comments before we purchased he said"yes we dont like those people either" have yet to get delivery hopefully today,but never again!!!! read more

We were kindly greeted and assisted by Julian. He took all of our dimensions and put an estimate together including delivery and installation, which turned out to be an even better price than Home Depot. We were happy to cancel our order with them and go with WDC. We were treated so well not only by Julian, but also by their professional delivery and installation crew. My husband & I Recently purchased a washer and dryer from WDC kitchen and bath center a Jacob Pribble was the sales professional. When my husband purchased the Maytag washer and dryer we were told they would both be "brand new". Prior to delivery we were notified that the dryer had been sold and that the only available one would be a floor model. We needed a washer and a dryer so we agreed with them agreeing to take $50 off. I was not present for the delivery due to work restraints, but upon inspection when i returned home.... There were many dents and scratches on both the washer and the dryer it had looked like they had both been dropped. When my husband contacted the company they said that they had already taken $50 off so they would not be willing to do anything else. The sales person I had was probably not trained in asking the correct questions to the customer in order to find out what would suit them best. When the refrigerator was delivered, it was hinged on the wrong side. All the delivered person was concerned about was having the delivery sheet signed. He was not interested in the fact that I was wanting the hinge to be changed. All he wanted to do was have me sign the paperwork I didn't mind paying extra right then. So many negative reviews here, and that means something. They are super accommodating up to the time you pay and order is complete. Then, it's pretty much ignore calls & emails regarding the order. I even tried to get another appliance via email, but the email was ignored as well. I am not even sure that I got the appliance I paid for. Something is just off here. Wife and I came in here just to look at fridges to replace our nonworking Fisher and Paykel fridge. We decided to buy the fridge that day because they said they could deliver it within two days. The installation fee was only $20 with free delivery. An automated phone call the day before delivery let's you know what time they will be coming by. They also send a text for delivery confirmation as well. The day of delivery they sent a text that they were on there way. My delivery time was 11am-1:30pm and they came before 11am. The installation was quick because our fridge was placed where we wanted it to be. read more

Only 1 other customer in there when I walked in this afternoon. Walked by the sales guy (tall, maybe late 20's) probably 6 times and not one word or look of acknowledgment. Saw the perfect refrigerator I wanted. 10 minutes went by and decided to go to Reid's. Another lady had been in for a couple of minutes and I told her I was tired of being ignored. She said she wouldn't be there except they carried a specific brand she liked. Reid's was great. Trying to stay away from big box stores isn't always easy. Do NOT do business with this company. Back in 2013 when we first became a customer things were good - not sure what happened. We decided to do an extensive remodel recently and selected WDC as the supplier for kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, outdoor kitchen and laundry. We spent a significant amount of money with them (well over $50,000) however we experienced numerous delayed deliveries, and when our kitchen appliances were delivered we experienced an extremely incompetent and rude installation team - that didn't even complete the installation (a few hundred dollars after our many thousands spent). The only response from WDC was "oh, we're sorry... " Customer service appears to not be important to WDC which is why I will take my business elsewhere on the future. Very disappointing. read more

The newly renovated kitchen & bath fixtures department is so beautiful & they carry some really cool brands that are not sold everywhere. My rental property range died yesterday. After researching new ones I started calling around to find a particular model. I found it at both Home Depot and Best Buy but they couldn't deliver it for two weeks. So I started calling the other stores in town finally get Josh at WDC. He honored the lowest price I found and I went to the store to buy it for delivery and installation the NEXT day. Spent 10 minutes and easy peasy. My husband and I were on the hunt for a washer/dryer set and a fridge. We went to a few places, hunted for the "best" price online and basically figured we would buy from Costco or Home Depot. Then we stumbled across WDC. The pricing was better than any place we previously found. The knowledge of our salesman Julian was incredible. He explained all features of the appliances and answered all the questions we had. This review applies to the plumbing supply store not the appliance store. I've just placed a $19,000 order with the appliance store and I hope that all goes well with that order. After reading the reviews I'm a little bit concerned. I went into the plumbing supply store yesterday to look at a couple things after I placed my appliance order for the sale on Sunday and Craig there helped me as I looked through materials. I am totally renovating a 3 1/2 bath house including the kitchen. Today Saturday I called him to ask three quick questions about manufacturers because he tells me I need to do my homework basically and find my own online. I was a little put off by that but their plumbing show room is small and needs to be redone. He is patient so long as there is nobody else in the store but the minute he gets busy he turns into another person. I'm going to take my business to VICS in Ventura for the plumbing fixtures.. Really disappointed. I needed to replace an appliance and the first salesperson I dealt with showed me a couple of options. When I called back to speak with the sales person to get model information so I could look up ratings, he told me he was on break and would call back which he never did. Went back 2 days later and dealt with a different sales person. I made a purchase and was told I would be contacted in a couple of days for the installation which would should only take about a week. Now a week later and I never heard from anyone. I called DWC today and was told the install request was never made and now have to wait over 2 weeks for the appliance to be delivered and installed. Terrible customer service and now have serious doubts about my purchase being based on a staff recommendation. Be careful if you decide to shop there. read more

Don't buy a Miele product. WDC are 5 stars for selling you an appliance, but a 1 star if anything goes wrong. Went into their showroom to buy a Bosch dishwasher and was up-sold onto a Miele Dishwasher as it offers "higher quality, excellent performance" apparently. So after some deliberation I took their advice and spent the $2,300 and bought the aforementioned Miele Dishwasher. Unfortunately, after only 12 weeks of light use, there are only 2 of us the the house, the Miele dishwasher broke down. I called WDC and they passed my details on to their service company. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment for someone to come out and when they did, they told me it needs a new inlet valve sensor unit. It's has now been 6 weeks since the machine broke down! The part has still not arrived after being ordered a month ago from Miele US in New York. I get texts saying the part will be here tomorrow, but I have had a number of these over the past month. WDC customer service has been VERY poor in responding, apparently, they are busy! Finally, after chasing, I was advised by the WDC customer service lady that she would escalate this to her manager and also contact the Miele area representative and come straight back to me. Well that was nearly 10 days ago and I have heard nothing since. Will keep updating this review as things progress or not, but as it is, I really cannot recommend buying an appliance from WDC, they'll sell you one, no problem, even a more expensive one than the one you wanted, but good luck if it breaks down, you will have to constantly chase, all the while not being able to use the machine you paid good money for. Also, for what it's worth, do yourselves a favor and DO NOT touch anything Miele! Even tried to call Miele customer services directly, they were not interested one bit and borderline rude, we don't care attitude, they just said it's nothing to do with them and I need to speak with WDC customer services! read more

This is the place to shop if you want to be ignored to the point where you wonder if you've become invisible. Eight years ago I purchased my brand new Whirlpool Cabrio from Warehouse Discount Center. I also bought a very expensive farmhouse kitchen sink and a lovely mirror cabinet for my home remodel. The man who helped me then was pleasant, knowledgeable and a terrific salesman.(Unfortunately, it appears this man no longer works at this store.) Yesterday, I decided to give Warehouse Discount Center repeat business. First I called. A nice, helpful man answered the phone. I told him I would stop by later that day and have a look at the washing machines. A few hours later, when I walked into the store, no salespersons were around. There was one woman (a cleaner?) in a uniform. She did not look at me or smile or greet me. I found my own way to the washing machines. I spent about 10 minutes looking, measuring, reading stats, taking notes and seeing if I could reach to the bottom of the drums. All the while I could hear one male sales rep having a somewhat "annoyed" talk on the phone. He sounded put out and edgy. It turned out there were two men at the desk. One man on the phone and the other on his computer. I walked up to the desk. Neither man glanced at me. After about a minute or so, the angry phone guy hung up the phone. Both men continued to ignore me. Neither man said "I'll be with you in just a moment" or "Did you have a question?" I left. The sales reps at Sears and Best Buy were wonderful to me; completely charming. read more
