Staff showed zero concern or fault for it either, they just asked who I spoke to (which was different people via email, so they could have looked in their system). We are a military family without friends/family to help with childcare. My ability as a stay at home mom to see a doctor is extremely difficult and involves my husband having to take off work to stay with kids. So an entire afternoon was taken off by my husband so I could attend this appointment, all for nothing.

I only had to fill out one front sheet Have your driver license. Credit card and insurance card with you I brought a blanket with me because I always find doctor offices and clinics to be cold I also brought my phone charger with me since you never know how long you're gonna sit and wait. He has I think 2 or 3 kids of his own that are high school age so he understands parents concerns and is not one of those doctors that gets mad if you call to ask a question. Another thing I really like about him is that he really makes you feel like you know him personally and he's an old family friend. He even calls parents by name. I really liked that he visited my baby and I in the hospital the day he was born, even thought it wasn't the hospital he normally works out of. That may be something that all pediatricians do; I'm not sure. All these things being said; I've never been seen on our within 30 minutes of my actual appointment time. I wouldn't say he's slow...I'm not really sure what's going on with that. Also there is a new receptionist that Isn't the friendliest. But whatever, I'm not there for the receptionist to be friendly. All this being said, I think trust is one of the most important things you can look for in a pediatrician, and that's what you'll find with Dr. Marc!

Dr. Dennar is by far hands down the best doctor I've been to. Dr. Dennar actually makes you feel seen and listens to you like a human and doesn't act like a robot. With this, you should expect a little longer wait time but most doctors office will make you wait anyway. Location/parking: it's located in a strip by the Rouses in Algiers. Always good parking, the lot is never too busy. Wait experience: Truthfully, my wait is usually 30 min to 45 mins probably, BUT I don't mind at all because I expect it and the service is top tier. Technology: If you are tech savvy and like modern advances, this place is great for you. Dr. Dennar uses an online health portal where you can see EVERYTHING! As a hypochondriac, this is great. You can see lab results, appointment notes, diagnoses, prescriptions and everything in the portal. You can also message Dr. Dennar if you need to ask him a direct question, which I think is super neat. I don't know if this is something that most doctors do, but he always replies in a timely manner, almost as if you're in his office. This is great when you forget to ask a question at your appointment, which I'm sure most of us do! The docs office can be intimidating! Office staff: I haven't had any bad experiences with staff. They had a TV in there playing the same dermatology video on a loop every 7 or so minutes. I went to the window to check in 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. I stood there and waited for the office assistant to help me to no avail. Finally, another lady walked up to the window and asked if I was a new patient. I was given an iPad device to check in and took my seat. To this point, I'm only disappointed with my first impression at the front desk. Now, here's where I start getting upset. I waited 58 minutes before getting called back (28 minutes past my appointment time). Then I waited 10 more minutes once I was in an examination room. When the doctor finally arrived, he spent 5 minutes with me. Despite the short examination, I must say the doctor was great. He was friendly and had a great sense of humor/bedside manner. Cons: This office is in poor shape. Damage to the walls, dirty furniture and overflowing trash in exam room. Long wait times. Pros: Doctor was nice.

( They had a sad kitchen timer to let them know when time was up.) Then they prescribed her like 5 different things, all harsh on her skin. Then bill came in, that was the funniest part. Charged me about $240 for her facial ( trying to pop pimples on her face) and around $240 for her ( can't remember what they called this one, but I think it was like a chemical treatment ( the black lights from the 90's, swiped in front of her face for 1-3 minutes ). Probably gonna call BBB on them.
