I bought a dozen macarons from Fortune Macarons as part of a Mother's Day gift. Let me tell you, they were the best macarons I've ever had. I ordered the blueberry, mango, and pistachio. The mango was my favorite. The cookies were perfectly baked with that quintessential smooth firm and shiny outside but still had a light and soft textured inside. It was the perfect combination of crunch and chewy. A generous amount of a decadent fruit filling was sandwiched between between two cookies. The filling was silky and rich and brought the combination of textures all together to create a pleasant mouth feel. The flavor choices were plentiful and each one made you wished that real fruit and nuts tasted like the macaron. The size of the macrons are one of the biggest I have ever bought. Each one was about three bites opposed to other places where you can pop the whole thing in your mouth. Lastly the colors of all three flavors I chose were so vibrant and pretty. They made a beautiful Mother's Day gift for my mother in law. She loved them so much she bought six more a few days later Fortune Macaron was so accommodating they offer delivery but since I lived down the street I decided to pick them up at my convenience. They also took my mother in laws second order on the weekend and they said they could have them ready when I asked for them. I will be back to buy more and try the other flavors! read more

I wish I had taken a picture, as these macarons really are as impressive as they look. I was worried that the size of the macarons may compromise the taste and quality, but I could not have been more wrong. We got the mint, lavender, mango, and pistachio -- all were incredible, especially the mint and lavender, as you can taste/tell that they really do use homegrown fresh seeds for both. The pistachio was exquisite (loved the crunch of the pistachio bits in the filling), and the mango was also delicious. The presentation and taste illustrate how much the owners care about their product! Service was also great -- I was able to communicate very easily with the shop, and the delivery made my life so much easier. I will definitely be a returning customer! read more
