    Holiday Snowballs!
    Ray F.

This little bakery delivered on the holiday sweet treats! Cherry Blossom has been around for a while and continues to produce nice bakery goods day after day. A recent stop in for some holiday cookies did not disappoint. Traditional sugar cookies, butter cookies, fruit gingersnaps and coconut snowballs were all to be had in the day of my visit, so I opted for a couple of each to try them all. The gingersnaps were a true flashback to my childhood rememberance and just exactly as I was expecting them to be in both taste and texture. My only regret, not getting more. The sugar cookies and butter cookies, in all of its many forms and styles, each full flavored and true old school holiday cookie styles. I tired several variations that were available that day and each was good. Then the snowballs... a traditional chocolate cake ball, wrapped in coconut cream frosting, these things are amazing! Better than store bought by a mile, rich chocolate cake surrounded by creamy shredded coconut frosty. So rich in fact, I clould not eat one in a single sitting. These are really great holiday treats! 3.5 Stars - rounded up for the hella delish Snowballs! 00769

    Pink champagne!!! YES!!!
    Meghan V.

Cherry Blossom is absolutely, hands down, my FAVORITE bakery of all time! Have been getting treats here for as long as I remember since childhood. All the negative comments saying it's "just a mom and pop" and "old-fashioned" is EXACTLY why I love Cherry Blossom! Why would one want to go to a corporate, cold bakery in the first place? Bakeries SHOULD be mom & pops!!! And I've always, without fail, have had excellent customer service. Perhaps the negative commenters should remember that you get back what you put out. I absolutely despise cakes from Ramone's and the Co-op; they may look pretty, but they're also bone dry and dense, more bread/muffin like than real cake, with ick "healthy" tasting frosting. When I want frosting, I want the creamy, sugary kind only!!! Every year for my birthday, I get one of their famous pink champagne cakes. My birthday was yesterday, and I admit the cake is almost gone- it's THAT good!!! The bakery, a Eureka legend, has been open since 1927 and it's the only place locally to find pink champagne. It's a proprietary, secret recipe too! Please, please Cherry Blossom, never go out of business!!! For those who say their cakes look old-fashion- go to Ramone's then for a fancier, yet dry and not as good cake. For me personally, I'll take some pretty & delicious classic buttercream roses!!!

Kent and Amy are amazing. Kent's handmade doughnuts are the best. We all have our favorites from the bear claws, twists, to their peanut butter filled doughnut. We always get our favorite pink champagne cake with whipped cream frosting and strawberry or raspberry filling. Amy always does an amazing job decorating. We go whenever we got sweet cravings and whenever we need a cake for a special occasion. Everything is always perfect and delicious. If your in the area I recommend trying them

I've tried the donuts here before and they are delicious, figured I'd take a chance on my birthday cake and it was delicious as well!! They didn't disappoint, I was supper Happy with the look and taste, bottom was pink champagne with strawberry's and top was carrot cake with cream cheese, Delicious! I will be back for more cake soon! :)

Their champagne cake is to kill for.My family usually orders the cake and Im there to eat it. I ordered my 1st cake and I got the order wrong . I Had to get another cake the next day for redemption. The secret is to ask for "AMY" and use the cheat code "CHANSTYLE" to unlock the special sauce .

The eclair . . . No butter, fake chocolate just a sugar bomb. Have to be verbose. I was concise in my review but Yelp wanted more blather.

It left a very waxy film in your mouth unlike donut mill which makes exceptional apple fritters. I assume they use some solid frying oil like shortening or something. But the real reason for leaving this review is as I came in. I asked for a round glazed cinnamon roll. It was 6.95. An apple fritter was 6.95. A dozen donut holes was 5.95 a glazed donut was 2.95. Are you absolutely out of your mind? The donuts are so mid tier and youre charging more for that filth than a local bakery does for their pastries. Absolutely out of your minds. We would always make fun of this place because the lady would be so obnoxious and always be like and then and then and then what else what else you want what else you want and then what else you want. Worst Donut Shop Experience of My Life. Stay Away. I don't…read moreeven know where to begin. $37.50 for a dozen donuts. Let that sink in. When I had the audacity to ask what justified that price, the owner didn't just fail to answer -- she turned immediately hostile, became openly rude to me, and then tried to enlist other customers in the store to gang up on me. In a donut shop. Over a price question. Rather than addressing my concern professionally, she attempted to drag strangers into the confrontation -- what should have been a straightforward conversation between a business owner and a paying customer turned into something embarrassing and hostile. A business owner who responds to basic questions by belittling customers and stirring up conflict has no business running a business. On top of that, the store itself was visibly dirty. Cleanliness is non-negotiable when you're handling food that people put in their mouths -- it's the bare minimum. The hygiene standards on display were deeply concerning and off-putting. This place deserves zero stars. If you value your money, your dignity, and basic food safety standards, do yourself a favor and drive right past it. I will not be returning.

It hit the spot on a sunny Eureka day. To my surprise, I got a freebie, with the barista making more than what would fit in the cup. The excess was poured into an additional cup, and given for free. That was awesome. Speaking of the staff, they were great. Lovely wall art that appears to be from local artist. I really want to give it 5 stars - the only downside was - and I have to be honest - there was a homeless man who came into the cafe and started yelling repeatedly at the clerk and other patrons. This is NOT the fault of the owners but when I'm in side of a restaurant or cafe and eating I think it's reasonable to want to feel safe. This was early in the morning and after this aggressive person left there were steadily more and more customers coming in and I felt safer/better This is a great place and I hope anyone who is visiting Eureka to stop by and enjoy this popular place

Parking is street parking only, so it can get tricky during busier times. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I was in at lunchtime, so I decided to get an "everything bagel" with their sun-dried tomatoes spread. I asked for light spread, and that's what I got. The bagel was amazing! Very tender. I could smell the garlic on the bagel and taste it as well. It was excellent. The spread was both savory and rich, but not overly rich. I loved it. I also had a white mocha. It was a good quality, coffee, and the drink was rich and sweet, but not overly so. I was talking with my sister later, and she told me that their sandwiches and salads are also very good. I decided to come back for dinner. I had the salami, baguette, and one of their lemon squares for dinner. The Salami Baguette had Salami, Jack Cheese, Spinach, Tomatoes, Dijon, and Pesto (Basil, Olive Oil, Garlic, Walnuts, Parmesan, and Salt) That sandwich was amazing! Baguette was soft and delicious, they were generous with the salami, and it had the right amount of cheese. The veggies give it a nice "pop" of freshness, the pesto was rich, but not overly so, and the Dijon and just a tiny bit of a "zip" to it. All of the ingredients played together very well. The lemon square, the crust was flaky, the lemon was creamy, but not overly sweet, and it had just the right amount of powdered sugar on the top. Everything I had there today was fantastic. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back to try more items. My only regret is waiting so long before I finally came in. Thanks!

It turns out she was going back-and-forth between being the cashier, and taking orders. If they had a box, it wasn't working. I decided to go with the pulled pork sandwich on a baguette, I chose all of the veggies, with no cheese or avocado, which was extra price. I requested the barbecue sauce, which was the non-spicy version. The sandwich was excellent. The baguette was a very high-quality roll, the pulled pork was savory, and all of the veggies were nice and crisp. The barbecue sauce tasted like it was a vinegar based, and it had a great "Tang" to it. It provided a nice pop of acid to offset the richness of the pulled pork. I could only finish half of my sandwich, and I had the other half for dinner. The sandwich came out to $14 and change after tax, , which was reasonable for such a good sandwich. The reason I'm taking off a star, is because of the wait time. The wait time from when I pulled up till when I pulled out with my sandwich was roughly 15 minutes. That's quite a wait for a sandwich. You can order ahead online, but you still have to wait in the line to pick up your food. They do delivery, but they only do one delivery run a day at 11 AM, and so you have to get your order in on time. They shouldn't have the person running back-and-forth between being cashier, and taking orders as well. Maybe have another person taking orders. Hopefully the next time I come back, the wait won't be so long. I wish these guys would get a "brick-and-mortar." They would do very well. Thank you!
