It was then NOT a simple matter of hooking Tessie up onto the flatbed, because parked cars were blocking her on both sides and in front. Coincidentally, another person had called for a tow truck for her car, and the driver of that tow truck, from another towing company, helped us with getting my car out of the wedged-in location. Tow truck driver moved very quickly and never mentioned anything about possible issues with towing backwards. While under tow the tonto cover ripped off flew over the front, and damaged the hood, windshield, and front right quarter panel. Upon completion of repair I noticed issues right away. I have a picture of the truck hooked up to the tow truck with no damage and sent pictures to Major league showing damage. I called and spoke to the owner. He said anything that flys off is my fault, and they have no liability. Obviously I have never driven the truck 45mph backwards, and never even considered the tonto cover may be ripped off during tow. Driver never mentioned or even gave me a second to make sure the cover was secured, however it was locked as and closed shown by the damaged locking mechanism left behind. The owner has ignored my emails and calls not addressing the issue. 3 days earlier I had the truck towed from north to phoenix to Gilbert (57 miles) with no issues from a company out of north phoenix. If you want any accountability or safe towing I do not recommend this company. I have given them more than a month to do the right thing before leaving this review. I have since submitted a claim to my insurance and they feel the towing company is liable and will address legally.

I had zero history with any companies in the area, as I had never needed one! I should not be surprised as to the amazing/quick/excellent service that was provided. I've now been able to read the reviews here on Yelp and they are 100% consistent with what others have shared. He was at my home on-time, courteous, kind, and even offered to make sure that my vehicle re-started after I turned it off/started it up again. His jump-equipment and his truck/flat-bed are all very clean/well-kept. Even though I had to pay out of pocket, the charge was VERY reasonable under the circumstances. I found out since that Tow AZ is contracted with my insurance company as well (you can bet I'm going to add roadside assistance/towing to my auto policy now!) I hope I don't need to see Dan again anytime real soon - but I'll be passing his info around to my friends/family for the future. His company will be the only one I'll use.
