**Updated review ** It's been awhile since I've had these "nubs" (nails) and "stubs" (toes) done and decided to treat myself. Today was a gloomy day and a perfect day to relax, unwind and get pampered. The hot stone massage was worth getting out of bed for and everything else was just decent. There were a few instances where I asked for a touch up, because of missed brush strokes. The nail tech seemed irritated, as if I should be OK to leave my nails halfway polished. I showed up an hour early for my appointment. My service was rushed, even when I had to switch nail tech midway through the service asked for ballerina I didn't like their interpretation of the shape which was a very thin coffin shape. The nails are starting to lift on the nail plate on the edge, some of the nails are cracking. All of my nails are a different shape. I would not recommend it even though I only paid $50. I don't feel it was worth it. read more

Let me start by saying if you going for a quickie, this place is alright. But if you want super quality work avoid the gentleman. Out of desperation my family and I (daughter, granddaughter and myself) decided to patronize this salon. We did a quick overlook of the reviews (which were mixed) and decided to go because they opened early. Walked in and the salon was clean, we were offered water and had a slight wait. All good so far. My granddaughter was up first (fun little mani) and was treated well by a gentleman who seemed to be the owner (but not sure). My daughter and I were up next for the pedicures. Water was hot!! Great. Daughter's pedi was cute but she asked for Barbie pink and was ignored by the cute younger tech who decided on white for her. I insisted on pink and it was sloppy and done by the same guy who did my gdaughter's nails. I should have looked at her's and I would have known to go with someone else. He did not shape a thing and the amount of paint on my cuticles indicates that he has some kind of nervous condition. It was a real quickie and it looked like it, I'm too reserved to complain but after some thought, I needed to write this review in hopes that others will read and make an informed decision. I called ahead of time to see if this salon used IBD liquid gel builder BEFORE I scheduled an appointment. The lady said yes. I repeated and she confirmed. So I made an appointment for this morning. John worked on my nails. After he'd filed them down he pulls out a nail polish bottle of base coat. I said what are you doing? He says it's ok. You should always use a base coat. I reiterated-I'm here for the IBD gel builder. He says yes yes gel builder. I should've asked to see the IBD jar but-I'm a trusting person and take people at their word. So then he gets this tube of something called TPA. He says you'll like. It's hybrid gel. It's the same thing. Now PISSED because 1-my nails are all filed down & 2-I've been using IBD gel builder only on my nails for the last 15 years. I let him finish because finding a place that used the IBD is difficult and my nails are at a weaken state because they've been filed down. I asked him how long does this last. He said 3-4 weeks. I'm irritated because he didn't ask me first before using a product on my nails that I didn't ask for. That was not good customer service. My nails look pretty-but if they don't last it's for naught. I'll update my review in 4 weeks. Be honest Forum. You limited my options to say no to this product that was NOT what I asked for. read more

My favorites are Ricky and Dawn, but I trust everyone in the shop to do my nails. That's how good they all are. Off of Leonard town road across from Sheriff office (yup I feel good bout that). Next to hip hop chicken Plenty of parking lots of colors and once again really nice staff. Stumbled upon this place and was in dire need of a fill in and pedicure. I arrived at 10am but they weren't open so I waited which was fine. There open light sign came on around 10:20 so I walked in (without an appointment). On first inspection (before thinking if I should walk out or not) I noticed how clean the place look and how nice of a color selection they had. I was greeted by Tracy and she said good morning (which a lot of places don't even greet you with) and asked what I would like today. I told her I would like a fill in with gel polish and a pedicure. She said I can pick my color from their color wheel attached to the reception desk. I chose their perfect match color in #10 red. Tracy was a sweet heart. She offered me something to drink which was either water or a soda. I chose water. After providing me my drink she started my nails and I am super please with the finish. She took her time and made sure the shape was to my liking. She also took the time to get to know me as a customer to see what I like and when she was speaking to another worker in their native language she was translating for me which was courteous and thoughtful. (Ladies you know how some of them be lol) Next my pedicure done by Lisa! They have a variety of different pedicures you can choose from. I chose the deluxe. The area was very clean and they have an option if you want privacy they would close the curtains. Lisa took her time and made the experience well worth it. The prices for services are higher than your normal mill nail salon but you do get a lot for what you are paying for. Overall I am completely satisfied with the outcome of my nails and toes and extremely please with this establishment and will be back . read more

Drove 30 min to take my aunt to get her first American Pedicure. They disappointed. She asked for a French pedicure and it looks pretty bad like a rushed job. They weren't very friendly while checking in and when checking out I was asking my aunt if she liked it or if she wanted them to fix it and it's almost as if the nail technician knew it wasn't a good job she just wanted me to sign the receipt and get out. Don't believe all of these good reviews! I usually go to a different salon, but my nail tech is out of town so I decided to try Forum. I have been getting dip powder for over a year now and very RARELY do I break a nail with the powder on. I came here to get my dip powder done and ended up with Lisa. She didn't seem to be very confident in her abilities and kept saying oops and laughing. When we were almost done, I noticed my nails looked a lot thinner than what I'm used to so I asked her to put an extra layer of powder. She seemed annoyed but did it anyway. The finished product didn't look great at all. The shape of each of my nails was different and they were uneven lengths (even though I asked her to cut them to be even) At that point I was over it, so I just paid and left. I broke 2 nails within a few days. The first nail broke while simply picking a coin up off of the floor and I broke the other nail the next day while putting a coat on. Mind you, these are my natural nails.. NOT tips. I went back yesterday to get the two nails fixed and told them what happened and they still made me pay the $10 even though it's their fault for not doing it properly in the first place. The nail tech, Lisa, even got an attitude and refused when I asked her to put on an extra layer of powder to make sure they didn't break again. Update: THIS morning I broke yet ANOTHER nail while just picking up a cup. I was thinking of calling then to complain to the manager, but at this point I am just going to go somewhere else to get my nails completely redone by someone who actually knows what they're doing. I was put into the fabulous hands of Tracey (who happens to be Jens mom) and Tracey absolutely SLAYED My full set of pink & white ombré nails ! I've tried 4 nail salons, 2 of which I was not completely satisfied. However, let me say, I am very picky. Prior to me finding Forum today I was going to Solar Nails, found the perfect tech. Called to make an appointment to find out she is no longer working there. So, I do my search and read the few reviews and saw pics, which was done by Tracey. The place is very clean, decent amount of polish. Nice selection of gel colors too. Tracy was very pleasant and did not rush. My service was fill, pedi and I got a set of lashes. They do everything there. I wanted to try tinting my eyebrows, but next time. Yes, I will be returning again. As the other nail salons they offer a beverage. Tell Tracy Keesha sent ya. This was my first time here. I was going out of town & needed to get my nails done today. I went on YELP for a recommended nail shop & they were #1. I was greeted immediately when I came in & only had approximately a 10 min wait. That was GREAT since I needed a full set & pedicure! John did my nails & he was very nice. He did a very good job. He was ver professional. His wife Tracy did both my pedicure & eyebrows. The pedicure was in a separate area behind a closed curtain with dimmed lights. The setting was very relaxing. They offer an entire list of types of pedicures with different fragrances. Some offer hot stones, paraffin wax, massage, etc... I'll definitely be back! read more

I loved my first experience here! I came in about 30 mins after they had opened on a Monday. I don't like to go places with a huge crowds! anyways... a nice lady told me to sign in and pick my colors for my gel mani, and pedi. I did just that and I was shown where to sit immediately, and was offered water or a soda. My gel mani came out perfect and I will be adding a pic which will have been 5 days of having them done. My spa pedi ... it was sooo needed! It was a different lady but she made my experience wonderful. She closed the curtains which was a nice touch of privacy, she then turned the lights down and I was in peace! Overall I think I found my new little get away. The customer service is good but the nail quality is not that great for what they charged.. They charged me for every design and I pay for pedi and full set over 100.00 dollars when I could of went somewhere else and got better quality. Not worth it. The only reason y I went because yelp reviews gave it 5 stars. One nail is crooked and they didn't cover my nail completely with the powder dip. So far, the best nail spa experience I've had in the Waldorf area. The atmosphere is very serene and peaceful, and you are greeted immediately when you walk in.
