Today a lady walked-in 15 mins before they closed & wanted a full set of nails & a pedi. She lost it when they told her sorry but come back tomorrow. She tried making a scene & got silent treatment. She left but started taking pictures & yammering about being refused service before. Really the reason for me writing this review is because of the way this disheveled woman behaved in front of my daughters & my neighbor's daughter & friend. Please do not be misled by the nice decor. I truly regret coming here to get my nails done. I have been embarrassed and am about to just get them re-done each finger looks different like an intern did it. Let's begin with the worst part. 1. I was admittedly overcharged $90 for French tip FILL, and once I politely insisted they explained the price break down, they were stumped after they got to $60, and still expected me hand over my credit card. 2. He rushed so much in the beginning that he cut drill too low into my nail beds twice and I asked him to please slow down. He blamed me and said my nails are sensitive, while we're both staring these drill dents going to my flesh. Lol goodness. 1 continued- When I asked the younger man - who did my nails - while he was doing them for much it was going to be (by now I realized he didn't know what he was doing and should've been done by now but I was stuck) his hand started shaking and he appeared irritated, he said something very low. I asked him what he said, thinking it was the price, he ignored me. I waited a moment to let him finish the white line since his hand was shaking so much, I figured he might mess up even more. When I asked AGAIN, this man said the lady will tell me at the front desk. Now he's speaking out loud in Vietnamese sounding annoyed and somewhat loud. When it's time to pay, the same annoyed and loud tone she speaks to the woman, who is now telling me the price, and when I'm asking how, looks just as puzzled and begins speaking back and forth again in Vietnamese. The nails looked nothing like the picture, and - though I asked him several times along the way to in-do it - made half my nail bed white and other neutral. They're called French 'tips', he just drew white gel all over my nail beds. It was very clear the young man was nice on the exterior but very arrogantly did NOT know what he was doing, and rather than just saying, so, decided to use me as his experiment. I kindly spoke up (as we all hate to do at salon) when it was obvious that he was doing things incorrectly for the sake of the outcome ( I was there was a while) and he'd just blame me saying the design shapes he was doing was because my fingers are croaked. (They're not lol, but what what this have to do with you know know how to shape a French tip the way the photo looks) There are plenty of other nail salons nearby. take my advice, and just choose any other one. read more

I've been coming to this salon off & on for a couple of years. Last year I returned & have been a regular customer. While I love my technician, the male owner makes me uncomfortable. Where he smiles & talks with other customers, he is ALWAYS cold towards me. You can feel the chill towards me. I don't know why. I really don't know what I could have done. Another issue why I'm sadly leaving is the pricing. I started out paying $45 for a fill in, today I paid a whopping $70 for a fill in with chrome. Three weeks ago it was $65. Today he stands at the register & loudly tells me "$70". I understand inflation, tariffs, etc but really? I inquired about pricing with the male owner at my last appointment, however, he did not respond. He took my money and walked away. Today I go in & the price has increased. I'm not sure if prices increase for everyone or just for me. It's the lack of respect & information sharing that bothers me. Pricing is not posted nor is a response given when asked about prices. So I'm not going back. The crazy thing is, I consider myself a good customer. However, why would I continue to give my hard earned money to an establishment that clearly doesn't want my business. Been here twice already, and definitely one of the better salons in the area. It's clean and they keep a rather relaxing ambiance. Both times I came as a walk-in, and I was attended to rather quickly. What I love most about this salon: 1. They use liners, and clean each pedicure tub after each and every patron. Not all places do that, esp if they use liners! 2. I've had other salons damage my nails with the nail drill. I mentioned that to the nail tech, and with 0 hesitation and 0 attitude, she decided not to use a nail drill on my nails at all. She buffed my gel manicure off with a regular file, soaked my nails and cut my cuticles with a cuticle cutter and then just buffed my nails with a buffing block. My nails are getting healthy again and I'm so happy! Both times Anne has done my gel manicure. My my pedicure I've gotten two different people and they've been good. I'll definitely use them if I need something in tr area. read more

My mother and I made an appointment for two SNS dips and two pedicures. When we arrived everything was great and everyone was nice until my mother's technician cut her finger while giving her a manicure. No big deal, It happens happens but their demeanor changed afterwards. To make matters worse when she was getting ready to start her pedicure another technician was getting latex gloves. My mother is allergic and asked what type of gloves they were and looked over the box. When she realized it was latex, my mother asked if they had any latex free gloves and they did not. They advised that they could not do pedicures without gloves. However was able to finish her manicure with a bloody finger. My mom offered to get some from the grocery store next door and she declined. The answer we received was confusing as it wasn't a straight yes or no. It was more of being ignored. Her nail technician kept saying "I have another customer" Mind you, I made an appointment before we arrived. My mother sat next to me while I was getting my pedicure and asked again if someone could paint her toenails atleast since they couldn't do the pedicure. The same nail technician ignored her and my self when we asked. My technician then offered to finish them for her, which was nice of her. Once we finished and got ready to leave my mother asked to speak to the manager so that she could suggest they buy non latex gloves and they stared at her until I said to the attendant behind the counter that someone else could have an allergy and it would be nice to consider before we left. Not only that they also used metal utensils and the metal foot grater without any plastic wrapping or showing that it was cleaned before uses. I've come here a few times in the past but it's a bit far for me so usually go to another salon. Happened to come in the other day, I was at Petsmart, for a gel manicure/regular pedicure. A young lady named Dawn (sp?) did my gel manicure and I have to say, it's probably the best gel mani I've gotten out here. It looked amazing, clean lines, nice shape, etc...and it is over a week out and the corners have not started lifting or peeling (like every other gel mani I've gotten out here).
