My fiancé and I decided to try Forward due to a lack of insurance while I am between jobs during this crazy pandemic. Because of these crazy days, we even kept the appointment following our wedding that morning! (Then celebrated after) We are both overwhelmed by how engaged, informative, and very helpful our doctors truly were. The facility and scanner feels like something from a sci-fi movie when you step in. While in the private exam room, the medical nurse or assistant checks blood pressure, takes a blood sample, and offers refreshments while they go to analyze the sample "in house", within 10-12 minutes! The doctor then comes in and the visit truly begins... Following an introduction, your data from the scanner and blood test diagnostics begins to appear on the huge touch screen mounted to the wall in front of your very comfortable exam chair. My doctor, "Dr. Greg" was awesome! Extremely knowledgeable, engaged and informative in a way anyone could easily understand. I was honest about any "bad habits" and he actually showed me how they reflect in my displayed diagnostic report. As we went over everything, I noticed things we were discussing popping up on the screen as well!... I asked about this and he explained how his medical assistant was taking notes for him in the background and showing important topics on the screen for both of us. This allowed the doctor to be more engaged and have the notes taken for him that would later be used to work up my personalized health plan. Sooo COOL!!! We discussed so much that we went past the 1 hr initial visit time and he encouraged me to use the online personal chat function (which would unlock following the visit) to ask any questions "at ANY time", day or night until my next visit. Later that evening my Forward phone app unlocked new abilities for contacting the care team and a couple other items. The following day my entire visit was summed up in my profile section, giving guidelines and personal notes from my doctor. This medical program may not cover major medical emergencies, hospital visits, or specialist visits, but the services provided for the very reasonable monthly fee is invaluable!!! Side note: They even encourage simplifying medication needs and tracking the results of different meds by having them provide the prescriptions for you!... All in one place! Forward is indeed the best name for this medical facility. It's like no doctor's office I've ever been in. It's innovative and personable and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful if they were family. They almost instantly quelled my insecurities and anxiety about starting a new doctor. When you are overweight the first thing you can expect out of almost every doctor is an instant attack on your weight and make you feel like crap it got so bad. This never happened here. This is medical technology moving light speed into the future and I'm absolutely elated to be a client here. We were offered water almost immediately and no generic Walmart water either. Every aspect of this facility has been well thought out and is client-centric. Molly, Jocelyn(I hope I remembered and spelled her name correctly) and the young lady (I didn't get her name. I'm sorry i didn't) who greeted us when we walked in were super nice. Dr. Greg Huang is next level in my opinion. I have never had a doctor with whom I could have an extended dialogue regarding my health and my plans to improve it without feeling rushed and clueless about myself. He listened to me, considered my thoughts and feelings, and offered real suggestions based on me and not just what he read in a book once ten years ago. Forward's approach to everyday health care has no comparison, it is far superior! Their preventive and proactive approach has provided me with the utmost confidence in my Dr. and their entire care team. I questioned my need to join Forward because I rarely need a Dr. beyond the annual physical. But I quickly saw the huge value in getting same day responses to any concerns. It doesn't matter how minor or serious a condition is, you are getting immediate - feedback, guidance, testing referrals, specialist referrals if needed. They often know who to recommend should you need a specialist. One example, snap some photos on their app and find out quickly whether or not shingles can be ruled out. One can't view their unique & timely services as, what am I getting from them each month. You are getting immediate attention, when you have a concern and when you really need it! Dr Greg was awesome!!! I am a RN and was married for 35 years and because of a divorce situation I found myself without healthcare. I thought Forward looked really cool. The whole experience was excellent. I am so glad I joined. The appointment was a little over an hour. My main concern is trying to lose weight and Dr Greg suggested using the intermittent fasting. A week later I'm down 3 lbs!!! The team is very fast to respond to any questions. I received a 23 & me kit right on the spot and will receive my shingles vaccination next month.
