Very disappointing experience with my Tesla Model Y. I specifically brought the vehicle in for a…read morecontrol arm noise coming from the driver side and clearly explained that upon arrival. The shop diagnosed and recommended replacement of both the driver and passenger lower control arms. I ultimately approved repair of only the side making noise for approximately $697 (versus the $1,394 they recommended for both sides). What bothered me most was that after the repair was completed, the technician test drove the vehicle, yet nobody informed me before making payment that the exact same noise was still present. I personally discovered it myself within less than 10 feet of driving out of the shop and immediately returned. The lack of communication regarding the unresolved issue felt very misleading and frustrating. Instead of taking ownership of the failed diagnosis or communication issue, the owner Elvis became defensive and stated the reason the noise remained was because I was "too cheap" to do all the work (both side, $1,397). He also suggested I should have replaced the upper control arm as well, despite the fact that they never diagnosed or recommended prior to the repair. I ultimately took the vehicle to the Tesla dealership, where the upper control arm issue was addressed at a significantly lower cost. While the lower control arms may have shown signs of wear, replacing worn parts that are not actually causing the customer's complaint makes little sense from a diagnostic standpoint. Based on my experience, the process felt more like guesswork than properly isolating the actual issue. Customer service was ultimately arrogant and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious bringing a Tesla here.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. KCC Auto and Elvis are the gold standard of what an…read moreauto shop should be--honest, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and deeply experienced, especially with luxury brands like Porsche. After being let down time and time again by the dealership, I finally found a team I can trust. Elvis didn't just save me a huge amount of money--he saved me the typical headaches that come with Porsche service. I even stayed nearby for three days while they worked on my $100K vehicle because I knew it was in the right hands. This shop is a rare find. If you care about quality, professionalism, and people who truly know what they're doing, KCC Auto is it.

This location has been bought by Firestone, and this review is not targeting C&C…read more TLDR: This is an incredibly dishonest auto shop, and could have put my family and I at risk due to negligence and deceit. Take your car somewhere else. I went in for an oil change and hadn't had any work done for awhile, so I expected a lot to be uncovered in the inspection. They came back and told me that my brake pads/rotors and struts/shocks needed to be replaced. Specifically they told me the front brake were at less than 4mm and needed to be replaced ASAP, the back brakes were at 5mm and could wait 3 - 4 months, and there were "rust rings" in my rotors so they would also need to be replaced. They quoted me a little over $3,500 for everything. I know a little about cars and have mechanics in the family, so I ran everything by them first. 1) We decided to do the brakes ourselves (my uncle worked at a brake shop). We found that there was no issue with the rotors in what they described as "rust rings". Saved a few bucks there. The front pads were at about 4mm, so they likely did check those. We got to the back brakes, and had to use a sledge hammer to get the tires off (indication that they didn't take them off to check). When we got the pads off there most almost nothing left, and they were about to start grinding the rotors. Another indication that they lied about checking them because there was certainly not 5mm left. 2) I took my car to another shop to have the struts/shocks looked at after realizing the lies this Firestone told about the brakes. I had noticed the cars handling was a bit spongey and bouncy, so seemed like it could be true. The next shop actually test drove the car, and found the issue wasn't the struts/shocks, rather 3/4 tires had broken belts. This Firestone clearly did not check the car thoroughly and lied about the issues I was having to milk me for money. The scariest part about this is that broken tire belts increase the risk for blowouts at high speed. So I could have put $3,500 into my car, and still had something catastrophic occur that could have caused injury to my family, me or someone else. Not much else needs to be said about this business.

He said it was my vacuum motor and charged me $1,098 to fix. 2 days later my truck was still leaking oil. I called them and he told me to bring it back so I did and then he told me it is my oil pan gasket and charges me another $1,000 when I got my truck back. I had rim and underglow lights on my vehicle, the front rim light was damaged so I called him immediately and told him about it, he said that his new employee damaged it by accident because the rim was too heavy and he will repair or replace and I can get that done and he will pay for it. I went and got quotes and sent them to him and he did not want to speak to me anymore after that. I also felt something was wrong with the motor so I brought it to the emission center and it showed that my oil pump switch is bad, so now I had to replace my oil pump. This family is not trustable please do not bring your vehicles here, his daughter when I went to the shop to talk to them would not even look at me, I could see the owner in the back ducking behind a vehicle and she snatched the paperwork out of my hand. I'm in the court process now. His lawyer called me and asked if I could remove my first reviews and they would settle out of court so I removed all my reviews that anybody could see and then they said they were not going to pay. I have all my documents showing the days that he had my truck my truck was passing no codes were getting sent and then right after I get my truck back my engine lights were on and my engine was acting funny. This company is untrustable please do not bring your vehicle to this office they will overcharge and not take care of the issue please beware!!!!!!!!!

I've never walked out of a mechanic shop before until today…read more I stopped by this Midas to drop off my son's car because the steering wheel is cockeyed going down the road and it clearly needs an alignment. I called ahead and simply wanted them to take a look. The front desk guy was decent and respectful over the phone initially. However...listen to this. When I get there Instead of writing up the car and checking it, the conversation somehow turned into an argument. The person at the counter started to ask about which direction the steering wheel was turned. I told him I honestly I have no idea. I know it's cockeyed and its out of alignment. A quick test drive would answer that. Then the supervisor came out of the office and escalated everything, arguing about why they needed that information. It was rude and weird. At that point I started wondering whether they were actually interested in repairing the car, or just arguing about it. When I said the whole point of bringing the car to a shop was for them to take a look and let me know, he leaned over to the other employee and said right in front of me... "Fine. Charge him for everything. $39.99 for an alignment diagnostic, $49.99 for a suspension check, and whatever other diagnostics we need." Whaaaa? It felt like he was trying to punish me for not knowing which direction the car pulled from the alignment issue, super irritating. So I grabbed my keys and left. I would have had no problem paying a diagnostic fee if it had been explained normally, but the supervisor's sarcastic and confrontational attitude made it clear this was going nowhere. I've dealt with plenty of repair shops over the years, and diagnosing an easy alignment issue usually starts with a quick test drive and not an argument. If a simple alignment conversation turns into an argument with management, imagine how an actual repair might go. I'm sorry this place blows. Don't go here!!
