This location has been bought by Firestone, and this review is not targeting C&C. TLDR: This is an incredibly dishonest auto shop, and could have put my family and I at risk due to negligence and deceit. Take your car somewhere else. I went in for an oil change and hadn't had any work done for awhile, so I expected a lot to be uncovered in the inspection. They came back and told me that my brake pads/rotors and struts/shocks needed to be replaced. Specifically they told me the front brake were at less than 4mm and needed to be replaced ASAP, the back brakes were at 5mm and could wait 3 - 4 months, and there were "rust rings" in my rotors so they would also need to be replaced. They quoted me a little over $3,500 for everything. I know a little about cars and have mechanics in the family, so I ran everything by them first. 1) We decided to do the brakes ourselves (my uncle worked at a brake shop). We found that there was no issue with the rotors in what they described as "rust rings". Saved a few bucks there. The front pads were at about 4mm, so they likely did check those. We got to the back brakes, and had to use a sledge hammer to get the tires off (indication that they didn't take them off to check). When we got the pads off there most almost nothing left, and they were about to start grinding the rotors. Another indication that they lied about checking them because there was certainly not 5mm left. 2) I took my car to another shop to have the struts/shocks looked at after realizing the lies this Firestone told about the brakes. I had noticed the cars handling was a bit spongey and bouncy, so seemed like it could be true. The next shop actually test drove the car, and found the issue wasn't the struts/shocks, rather 3/4 tires had broken belts. This Firestone clearly did not check the car thoroughly and lied about the issues I was having to milk me for money. The scariest part about this is that broken tire belts increase the risk for blowouts at high speed. So I could have put $3,500 into my car, and still had something catastrophic occur that could have caused injury to my family, me or someone else. My sister has now twice brought her car in for repair there and they have been very simple very inexpensive fixes. It is especially helpful because honestly we don't know a whole lot about auto repair so it makes us trust them. Not sure if I mentioned this before, but came to C & C Car Care to get new brakes (rotors and pads) done on my car. Great service of explaining what i needed and very reasonable pricing for it. The work was done quickly and I plan to come back again for an oil change, replace air filter, and check on the trans. If you want something done right and reasonable you need to come here. I like that these guys will tell you if something is needed where some shops (I will not mention names eh em) will tell you need to replace something that is not needed and spend x amount of dollars for nothing. You won't find that here. This is a no-nonsense business and that is why I go out of my way to travel up here to have them work on my car. Another fine job and I give it 5 stars. This is the last place you should ever take a car .I brought my car on for a rear abs brake repair,I was told a day or two. Two days passed and called to find it would take another day, i called two days later and was told they would call me when it was done. So now a repair that was going to take a day or two went on to take 6 days.Then I went to pick up my car and found greasy hand prints and spots of oil all over my paint.i went to complain about the condition and was told they would wash it. Several hours later I was called and was told to pick up the car.The oil could still be seen in the paint,i talked to the owner and was told the paint must have come in that condition.I now have a car with damaged paint and don't know if there is any fix for it.So my advice is to take your car any where else to be repaired ,even a kid in a driveway is better. Not only was my car ready when expected, but the gentleman working the desk was very helpful and ensured everything was great! Had work done by this company before, never had an issue until now. Won't be returning. I had my car towed after hours to the shop after it stopped accelerating while driving. All lights stayed on in the car. At first the car would restart, I could drive just a short distance and then it would stop accelerating again. It eventually stopped starting after turning over and would just *put* *put* *put* sputter out. They called me the next day to find out exactly what was happening. I informed them. They called back saying they ran a check and the issue was the alternator and nothing else was wrong other than needing a headlight and an oil change (both of which I knew about). They changed me $560 to replace it. I got it back on a Saturday right before they closed and it was driven home and parked. By Sunday morning I was paying to have the car towed back to them. It had the exact same symptoms that they said replacing the alternator would fix. I told them that although there was no check engine light when the car was first dropped off, now it showed a check engine light. They said there was no light and the tech claimed he did not clear it. I would not take the car back because I believed they needed to drive the car around to see it stop accelerating. They then kept the car for 7 days stating they could not see any issues. They claimed the car never showed the symptoms except for once. Apparently the car finally stopped accelerating for the tech, but they still could not tell me why stating that it started back up. I was told they would need to wait to see if it happened again. After 7 days they never figured out the issue and just told me it was bad gas in the car. They replaced the gas which cost me another $20. I got my car back on Saturday and again, by Sunday I was stuck on the side of the road. It is funny they could not replicate the issue while driving it for days, but as soon as I got it BOOM there it is. Luckily, I signed up for AAA in the meantime or this would have been a 3rd time paying to have the car towed for the same issue (even though I still had to pay for the 3 miles travel not covered by AAA). I refused to take the car back to CC Auto. I had it towed to a Chevy dealership. They told me the issue is a vacuum seal leak on the intake for the fuel which was allowing air to starve out the fuel and putting soot on the throttle. The total cost to repair the seal $254 and to clean the throttle body (fuel system service) $135. Chevy confirmed the lights had been reset because now it was not showing I needed an oil change, when that oil light was originally on. I basically wasted $560 on an alternator that was not needed, wasted money towing the car back for the same issue, money wasted lyfting to work, plus precious time. On top of that the tech spewed the items that were in my trunk across my back seat area when he let the seat down to expand the storage. He didn't even bother to try to straighten it back up. NEVER AGAIN. The guys who answer the phones were nice, but go to a real repair shop with mechanics that know what they are doing and actually run test before repairing unnecessary parts. read more

Went to get my flat tire fixed and put back on the car. I was told it could not be fixed and he could get me a new tire. Gave me a price of $300+. Decided to get some pricing from the tire store I had originally purchased it from. $149! C&C will never see me again and I will make sure I tell my friends and neighbors. I've entrusted Casey to service wheel bearings, 4 wheel drive bearings and seal, brakes and other critical items on my restoration project 1991 Blazer K5. His people performed the work rapidly with OEM equipment, exceeded my expectations, and offered a quite reasonable service guarantee. Steer clear of this auto repair outfit. If I could give this shop zero stars I would. I had been a loyal customer of C&C for years (even when it was called something else under prior ownership). About 2 years ago, I brought my 2003 Jeep in because of excess vibrating. Initially they couldn't find what the problem was. When the vibrating continued I brought it back in. Tom, one of the techs, took the Jeep home to see if the vibrating could be recreated, and he did, in fact, feel the vibration. I paid $1,600 for what I was told was the problem. Brought it home and, guess what? - the vibration persisted. They said it was finally fixed (a caliper). A few days ago (around April 22nd, 2019) I again felt the vibration and brought it back in (for a 5th time!!!). This was a Tuesday. By Friday(!!!!) I had not heard ANYTHING! I called and they told me that they could not recreate the vibration, and to come and get the Jeep. Long story short - these mechanics do not know how to repair cars. This is a JEEP, a very common vehicle. It was vibrating (and still is!), and one of the mechanics felt it when driving it. THEY ARE UNABLE TO FIX IT. Don't they have manuals and repair documents they can go to to diagnosis and fix the problem? Please, please, don't go here for your car repairs. read more

I had the worst experience in my life with this shop, my story started with a rattling noise from the engine with performance issue. When I visited them I was informed it was one of the ignition coils need to be replaced and with a ver high cost. After the repair I noticed in the invoice that they have changed the engine oil. I drove the car for 3 or 4 days and the noise started again but less than before, in 2 weeks the noise was higher and performance became so bad. The second appointment with them they told me I have to do many repairs in the car which will be higher than its value, with no guarantee that noise will go away, and was advised that timing belt should be replaced as well as the car situation is so bad and the chain might break at any time. I was not satisfied and took my car without the repair, the worst part was when I asked them if the engine oil level was low as I know I had some oil leak, the guy told me they added Quarter and half of oil and it is full now but that was a big lie. I left to home and pulled the dipstick and engine oil was empty. I bought engine oil from walmart, by adding only a quarter resolved all the issues I had. I am driving the car for a month with no issues at all. $20 saved me more than $4500 at this unprofessional repair shop. read more

I used to use this place for repairs. They have always been a little overpriced, but lately, they have gotten much worse. I had in the past been able to take my car there, they would tell me what was wrong with it, give me price, and i would do what I COULD afford to do! My family have spent thousands of dollars at this place. The other day, my daughter's car broke down, she called, them and they had her towed. She found out that she was charged $100 for the tow and they would charge her another $100 to "diagnose" the problem whether she had the work done or not. She decided that her car was too old to put that much work into it, and she decided to junk it. They still insisted on the $100 or they would not let her get her belongings out of the car!! Last week I heard a rattling sound under my car. Figured something came loose. Took it to C&C to make sure car was safe to drive. They said the flange that holds muffler to exhaust system was rusted away and I would need a WHOLE NEW MUFFLER FOR $400. I've worked in the auto parts industry and that didn't seem right. Called my dealer to see if anything was covered. He said no, but referred me to an exhaust shop. Went there today and ALL I NEEDED was a flange for $93.00 including labor. Shame on you C&C for trying to milk me for money. I may be a woman, but I'm no dumb bunny. I will not be back. read more

worst auto repair business in the world. was told a new starter would be $297. had car towed there and after looking at it was told it would be $415.00. told him i was going to have car towed to another shop, tom called me back saying he would not release car until i paid him $50.00 dollars. my girlfriend called them back tom said he would refund the $50.00 but in the end still charged me 15.00 for storage. my car was there for a total of 2 hours. worst experience i ever had in my life. avoid this shop. everything they said is a LIE LIE LIE. oh and they would not even give a warranty. i want to give them 0 stars but yelp wont let me. read more

This place is the worse place I've been to in my entire life. I Went in here to get my oil change just because it was convenient for me where it was very close to my work. They charged me $70 for just a regular oil change. I was shocked when it came up to $70 for just an oil change so I asked him why it was so much. Then he told me it was because he gave me the expensive oil which will last me up to 10 thousands miles. I was like okay but I didn't ask you to do that then he said because my car is new and it required that oils. Yet my car was brand new and it was the first oil change I had with the worse experience ever. Then I told him if it won't last me that long I will come back for this. And yeah I was right. Only 2 and 1/2 months later my car pop up the reminders that I already need another oil change. Which I get mad and came back show him then he said oh I drove more than 6k miles in 2 months which very impossible unless you're travel on a long road trip to cause you that miles. Wow. He is such a big lier. And I was not happy at all with this kind of service. So I suggest you should be careful if you want to go here. They put in the cheap oil then tell you the good one.
