Had the worst experience, not once, but twice.
First time, there was maybe 10 people total in the restaurant. We were staying in the hotel and went to their bar to grab a drink. The manager told us we were not allowed to go to the bar and would need to sit at a table to get a drink. That's fine. He could have said it nicer (he was very rude), but whatever. Sit at the table and 20 minutes go by with no one coming over. Finally flag down the manager, and he says that it's going to take a while because they're "slammed". Once again, only 10 people (not tables-- only about 4 tables) in the place and most are either just chatting and not getting waited on. We ended up electing to leave when the manager finally said "I guess I could take your drink order and you'll get it eventually". No thanks
Next day we went back because we told the front desk of the hotel what happened and they gave us vouchers for some drinks. They said it's not normally like that, so we believed them. We sit down right away and someone comes over to take the drink order. So far so good. Ordered 3 glasses of wine and a beer.... And the order came out wrong.
Maybe we're being over the top but most of us work as management in huge hotels, and we paid a lot for the stay. Seems ridiculous to have that substandard of service. read more
