As for the cheese blintzes and the cherry compote- I think I could've done without it- it made it too sweet. But, it was served in the side, so iI just didn't eat much of it. The blintzes themselves were very good and definitely had a very gratifying texture. Slightly sweet on their own, but not too much. My husband had the franks and beans. I didn't try them, but I did snag a French fry and it was very good- golden and perfectly crispy with a piping hot soft center. Prices were a bit steep, but this is a neighborhood restaurant and iI think it's always good to support locally when you can. Goodness knows, prices for goods is high and labor is not cheap.
