    Chamomile buttermilk pie
    Lily W.

A cute little cafe at the corner of the block where you can grab a sweet treat and perhaps read a book or do your work. I needed to kill some time and this was a great spot to do so. It's not too loud inside and they have some interesting pie flavors. I went with their chamomile buttermilk since they said they would be taking it off the menu and it wasn't too sweet. Rather, it was a bit tangy. I don't know if I could really taste the chamomile however. I always like the crust of a pie more and I enjoyed this one! I'd come back to try other flavors since it seems to change routinely.

Still the best pie shop in NYC (better than Petee's, pies n thighs and little pie company, though I really like all of those spots too). My boyfriend got me an entire strawberry rhubarb pie for my birthday this year and it was phenomenal. Also had a stone fruit crumble slice a few weeks later - it had plums AND peaches. God bless.

My mom has gotten the coffee butter pie twice this week and said it's one of the best pies she's had. We didn't go to the store. We've been ordering them from wonder. I'll need to check out the store soon.

How come no one never told me about this place ? I commuted and drove past this for two years and never discovered it until my friend brought me this for my birthday. This must be the most delicious matcha pie I ever had. The custard is filled with matcha richness and the crust is crispy. Lasted three days and still good with every bite. Tried their other pies which cannot beat this one!

I was in the area looking for something sweet, and found this place .. I will definitely stop in next time to try more Pie.

Pie is a dessert that i don't crave super often, but four and twenty made me question why not. Theyre the first pie specialty place ive ever tried and theyve convinced me of the vast pie world that exists outside of thanksgiving. I tried their salty honey, matcha, and pecan and loved all. They lean sweet but je love. With a coffee it's legit perfection

I walked in on a weekday evening and they were sold out of some flavors. They have seating inside and it relatively quiet and wasn't too busy. They had about 5 flavors to choose from and I got a box of 8 slices. The service was friendly, the slices were decently sized, and well packed. My favorite was the matcha custard which was very creamy, and my friend liked the black bottom oat the best. The salted honey was a bit sweet for our taste, and the peach one didn't have enough filling.

this is a very cute pie shop that i stumbled upon. i tried the salted caramel apple pie and it was delicious - warm, flaky crust, and the filling wasn't too sweet. on the other hand, the garlicky kale pie was one of the worst things i've ever eaten and i couldn't finish it (and im not a picky eater) - it was overwhelmingly salty and there was no other flavor besides salt. the staff forgot that my savory pie had been heating and i had to go up and ask for it. i'd recommend going here and trying the sweet pies! but garlicky kale is a hard no.

    Lemon Chess

The lemon chess pie is tart, creamy and sweet. It's all that I really love in a pie. It reminds me of key lime pie as it's very similar in flavor profile. A nice sized slice; it was a dessert well done.

Lavender Honey Custard & Salted Caramel Apple Pie

I might have the sweetest tooth of all the sweet teeth. I'm always on the hunt for the sweet treat of the day, so after a day at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, pie seemed to be the obvious way to end the day. We got there truly in at the last minute and I am so happy we made it. They have a great shop with lots of tables and a very short but "sweet" menu. We got a slice of the honey lavender custard & the salted caramel apple pie. Both were delicious but my heart and recommendation goes out to the custard. SO good. We got a little side of ice cream on the side (would recommend, especially with the apple pie) and it was a great combo. You can get your dessert by the slice or by the pie, and on top of that they also have coffees because is that not the best combo ever. Would recommend, but you must try the honey lavender custard.

Incredible pies and I love that you can always try something new! We got the coffee custard, brown butter apple, and a buckeye. They were all so flavorful and lasted pretty well till the next day! I probably wouldn't come here to hang out and do work, as it was pretty busy, but stopping by for some pies is definitely worth it!

    Coffee Custard Pie
    Carina H.

The Coffee Custard Pie had a flakey crust and custard that reminded me of a larger, coffee-flavored egg tart. I went in only for a piece but ended up getting a whole pie after I tried it. There's plenty of seating, which we didn't have to fight for on a weekend afternoon, and the space is really cute and cozy. The pies, tables, packaging, and the decor all tied into a single, cohesive aesthetic. The staff was very peppy and friendly.

People have left some odd reviews of this place, including a one-star review for the restaurant…read moreapparently being highly politicized--a vibe I neither felt nor could visually identify within or without the establishment. I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

I have wanted to try this spot for some time, and wound up a bit disappointed with what I tried…read more They feature a tahini cold brew, which features two things I love dearly, but instead of a rich cold brew it was overly sweet and icy--more like a slushie. Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
