Husband enjoyed his plate and finished it within a few minutes. It came with 2 different types of sauces: a white cilantro flavored one and a red mild sauce that was a bit spicy for him. The pesto mushroom risotto was good, but a little salty for my liking. If you want to add protein, it's ~$6 for beef or shrimp and ~$4 for chicken. Overall, it was good! We'll most likely be back. I want to try their empanadas next time!

PABELLON EMPANADA (6/10) - The empanada dough was a great thickness and was fried well. There is plenty of filling but the shredded meat was one big hunk that was hard to chew and there was one big piece of fried plantain. I would have preferred the meat and plantain to be spread throughout the empanada instead of in a single bite. I probably wouldn't order this again but would like to try other items they offer like the arepas. I wanted to give Los Panas 3.5 stars overall but bumped it up to 4 because the green sauce they have is DELICIOUS! I'm happy I tried Los Panas but wouldn't rush to come back or necessarily recommend it as a must try in the food park.

It had a good amount of meat, and the sweet plantain balanced out the savory cheese. But after that top layer, it's just densely packed beans with no flavor. And it just became a chore to eat. I wish the toppings were a bit more evenly distributed or even that the beans were flavored. My friend got the Catira and she didn't finish hers either so I tried a bite. While the cheese was really salty, the chicken didn't have much flavor.

The seating setup is a big win-I really liked the layout and the outdoor eating atmosphere. It gives the place a relaxed, enjoyable feel and makes it a nice spot to hang out and eat. Food-wise, everything was good, but the loaded bacon fries were a bit dry and could've used more sauce to really bring them together. The other items were solid and satisfying. I'm giving it 4 stars-great atmosphere and good food, just a little room for improvement with the fries. I'd still come back and try more off the menu.

Last time I was at Cachi, Melissa told me the coffee cake was a must try and she was absolutely correct. So, I decided to do a repeat performance and get coffee cake again. Then I saw this large, chocolate chip cookie filled with Nutella that I got for my husband (wink, wink). Although he has been cutting back on sweets, he ate this cookie. He did give me a tiny (emphasis on "tiny") piece of his cookie. Melissa, the owner, is always so sweet and kind. She took the coffee cake straight out of the oven. It was warm and delicious.
