So far, I've…read moregotten the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Pabellón Plate (with chicken), and both were great. The chicken was not dry and the portions left me full. Plenty of menu options as well. The staff are warm, welcoming, and accommodating (we came with a group of 6 and they got us situated right away). The space is small (which I find very nice), there is indoor and covered/shaded outdoor seating available. And I love the decor! Overall, highly recommend!

My husband ordered their burrito, which came with chips and a cheese dip on the side. Their shrimp was good; nothing special. I did ask to try aleida's sauce, which many people liked on yelp, but we liked their green sauce the most! Overall, very cute and colorful restaurant; loved all the decor. The outdoor patio, where we sat, was covered and nice, until it started pouring hard outside. Not a super authentic latin restaurant. No complimentary chips and salsa. My taco wasn't worth more than $5, tbh, and we paid close to $9..given it was shrimp, but we've had much better shrimp tacos elsewhere for less. I wish I had a photo of my poor taco, but I totally forgot to take a picture :/

Pro tip: It's not directly on Walton Way; it's on the side of the building. Wilson, one of the owners, kindly guided me to the entrance when my GPS said I had arrived, but I still couldn't see the restaurant. Please note that there is indoor and outdoor dining along with free parking. Fogonero is best known for its empanadas, arepas, and other traditional Venezuelan specialties. While all of those sounded tempting, I was craving one food specifically...plantains. I have a real weakness for sweet fried plantains, and lately they have become my ultimate "go-to" comfort food. Fogonero's plantains hit the spot. They were perfectly sweet, moist, and enjoyable to eat. The restaurant is a whole vibe. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a striking mural of the Venezuelan flag painted in vibrant colors across the wall. It's eye-catching, inviting, and instantly sets the tone for the experience. Alfred welcomed me with a warm smile and immediately recognized that I was there to pick up an order. He had everything packed and ready to go, making the process quick and seamless. His friendly, personable demeanor made a great first impression. I'm looking forward to returning and exploring more of the menu once my mouth is back in eating condition.

Husband enjoyed his plate and finished it within a few minutes. It came with 2 different types of sauces: a white cilantro flavored one and a red mild sauce that was a bit spicy for him. The pesto mushroom risotto was good, but a little salty for my liking. If you want to add protein, it's ~$6 for beef or shrimp and ~$4 for chicken. Overall, it was good! We'll most likely be back. I want to try their empanadas next time!

FAST FACTS: * Parking: decent size lot near the food park but it can be hard to find a spot when it's busy * Walk up and order at the truck... you'll get a pager to let you know when your order is ready * Outdoor seating: lots of picnic tables around the truck * Accepts credit cards * Closed Monday and Tuesday SERVICE: The workers were friendly for the most part. I ordered at 6:53 pm on a Friday night and my order was ready at 7:04 pm. There was no line when I ordered. PRICING: The total was $8.65 after tax ($0.66) but before tip for a pabellon empanada ($7.99). I feel like the pricing was in line with the other food trucks in the park. PABELLON EMPANADA (6/10) - The empanada dough was a great thickness and was fried well. There is plenty of filling but the shredded meat was one big hunk that was hard to chew and there was one big piece of fried plantain. I would have preferred the meat and plantain to be spread throughout the empanada instead of in a single bite. I probably wouldn't order this again but would like to try other items they offer like the arepas. I wanted to give Los Panas 3.5 stars overall but bumped it up to 4 because the green sauce they have is DELICIOUS! I'm happy I tried Los Panas but wouldn't rush to come back or necessarily recommend it as a must try in the food park.

It had a good amount of meat, and the sweet plantain balanced out the savory cheese. But after that top layer, it's just densely packed beans with no flavor. And it just became a chore to eat. I wish the toppings were a bit more evenly distributed or even that the beans were flavored. My friend got the Catira and she didn't finish hers either so I tried a bite. While the cheese was really salty, the chicken didn't have much flavor.
