    Cachapa

Excellent, fast and efficient service. Fabulous cheese sticks "Tequenos", The corn "pancakes" cachapas. with cheese were delicious, same with the arepas. We tried Reina pepiada, chicken and vegan- beans and plantain- all were fabulous. The empanadas very good. The fruit juices also delicious. To top it off they were open on Christmas which saved ourselves the trouble of cooking for the family breakfast.

SO SO GOOD I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. the cheese is homemade and it was my first time trying this food and it was the best thing ever. The owner is super nice.

Five very small tequenos for 9 bucks. The garlic sauce was tasty though.

Not impressed. I bought 1 order of cheese tequenos and shocked to pay 9 dollars for such a small amount of food. Note they didn't have a lot of the items on the menu and it was early during the day so seems inconsistent. Service isn't super friendly either. Wish I would have checked out the other reviews before stopping here. Btw love supporting small bipoc businesses but this one didn't leave me wanting more.

I've been wanting to come here for a while now, so I decided to give them a try and it started off bad from the beginning, lady at the register could not get off her phone to take our order , after taking our order she did not have change nor did she care to let me know that I was not getting my change back. Food was very bland at best, after paying $17 for a mondongo soup that turned out to not be good at all, it was all mostly bones and fat and it didn't have all the ingredients they claimed to have.... I Also got a hot dog ,the bread was burnt and meat was tasteless almost like it wasn't seasoned, I usually don't like to write bad reviews but I really feel like the experience wasn't good at all and they could definitely work on that, until then I will not be coming back there any time soon.

Looked so promising! The Pepitos Los Panas

The price is a joke. $9 for an empanada. There are now about 6 Venezuelan food trucks around the area. The prices are much better than this.

Plenty of menu options as well. The staff are warm, welcoming, and accommodating (we came with a group of 6 and they got us situated right away). The space is small (which I find very nice), there is indoor and covered/shaded outdoor seating available. And I love the decor! Overall, highly recommend!

My husband ordered their burrito, which came with chips and a cheese dip on the side. Their shrimp was good; nothing special. I did ask to try aleida's sauce, which many people liked on yelp, but we liked their green sauce the most! Overall, very cute and colorful restaurant; loved all the decor. The outdoor patio, where we sat, was covered and nice, until it started pouring hard outside. Not a super authentic latin restaurant. No complimentary chips and salsa. My taco wasn't worth more than $5, tbh, and we paid close to $9..given it was shrimp, but we've had much better shrimp tacos elsewhere for less. I wish I had a photo of my poor taco, but I totally forgot to take a picture :/

Service: 4/5: our waiter did a good job at checking on the table and taking our order on time. Nothing bad to point out. Food: 4/5: The food was better than what I expected. I ordered the stuffed chicken plate and I would order it again if I went back. The salsa that comes with the chips is a bit hot but so tasty. Definitely poured that on everything. It's challenging to replicate the same experience locally, as these restaurants lack access to the fresh, local ingredients that define their unique cuisine. Casa Colombia does a good job replicating a true Colombian dining experience. Their menu is extensive with some very interesting offerings. Scanning the dining room, I noticed that their portions are huge. We started with a shrimp cocktail, an empanada, and their version of a rum - mango martini. The small option for the shrimp cocktail was bountiful and easily shared. The housemade cocktail sauce was a perfect accompaniment. The empanada was a tad dry, but their spicy salsa sauce was a great addition. Our "martini" was sweet but very satisfying on a warm afternoon. We did want to try their ceviche, but they are using tilapia as their fish. Quality Seafood is not too far away, and I'm sure that they could offer a better-tasting white fish than plain ole tilapia. We split one of their house specials, the Bandeja Paisa Tipica. This is a traditional Colombian dish, and it is a meat lover's dream served on an oversized platter. Our platter arrived with a chorizo link, beef sirloin, rice, red beans with pork, a huge fried chicharrón, an arepa, a sweet plantain, a slice of avocado (well, there's the only healthy portion), and a fried egg on top. We struggled to eat about 70% of this feast. It's going to take a few visits to the gym to work off this lunch. Dis & Dat: Parking is a breeze as they have their own parking lot. They do offer a happy hour that begins at 3 PM. A definite 4-plus star experience.

Such a good little gem tucked away in a food truck lot in Leander!…read moreThey have plenty of parking and shaded seating with music playing, looked like maybe 4 trucks in total? There's also a decent play area that I *assume* kids can play on, though it's off to one side and near some camper vans. Brito's appears to be Venezuelan-Texan food, with a variety of burgers alongside brisket arepas and empanadas. For a weekday, they had a steady stream of customers the whole time I was here, though I didn't have to wait long either. The woman taking orders was so sweet and even ran my card out to me when I accidentally left it in the card reader. I ended up ordering the brisket arepa at the recommendation of a regular customer ahead of me in line. Delicious. They make a good brisket, y'all! The succulent meat fusing with latinx influence of the arepa for a result reminiscent of Valentina's taco truck (RIP). I'm not an arepa expert, but it was delicious, and PACKED with the good stuff. No skimping here. It also comes with a salsa that seemed like an avocado sauce...only thing I would change is for the sauce to be stronger, as it was too subtle for me and I like a kick. Can't wait to come back and try the burgers now that I know they can cook a brisket.
