I will never pay someone to treat me poorly. Since my puppy's matter was not a life or death emergency, I picked him up and walked out! It was very clear to me why I was being ignored. I dare that technician to say otherwise. I don't recommend patronizing any business whose employees are rude lacking half way decent, customer oriented service skills. If I could, I wouldn't give this business one star. I went to Truss on Sunday morning, where my dog was treated well and so was I.

He barely performed an exam and was unable to give us any sort of differential diagnosis. He shared his thoughts that the cat might have cancer, and even while doing so was incredibly callous. He laughed and made strange jokes several times during this conversation. He stated he didn't want to have to leave without answering her questions because his feet were tired (?). When she expressed that she would not be able to afford a hospitalization, he laughed and mentioned that if this was his cat "he would hospitalize [them] because he gets a great discount." He laughed again while having her sign an AMA form, saying "I just don't want you to sue me because you're not listening to me." I strongly feel that part of the reason for his insistence that she put him down immediately that night was likely due to his financial benefit if she did so. The cat was otherwise stable and not showing any signs of acute distress. When she asked about supportive medications to make it through the night so she could see her primary vet in the morning, he continued to use judgmental and hurtful language, saying "I wouldn't want *my* cat to suffer but I guess others have different beliefs." Because we were able to understand how he was pressuring her, we chose to go home. Our friend was ultimately able to seek a second opinion, and pursue a loving and peaceful euthanasia in the cat's own home the next day. The vet tech in comparison who did the intake and check out was very kind and helpful. I would only consider going here if you were seeing a different veterinarian doctor. Anybody who has a sick pet knows how devastating this can be, and deserves to be seen by a provider who is compassionate and understanding.

The attendants at the front are very nice, but everything breaks down the moment you get into the examination room. The vets do not hide the fact that they don't want to hear anything from you. They do everything they can to charge you as much as they possibly can per visit, performing treatments and services your pet doesn't need. They will even go so far as to rush the treatment as quickly as possible so they can charge you before you realize what's happening. It is also clear that they want you in and out as quickly as possible so they can continue to churn and burn the next customer. If you love your animal, or any animal for that matter, do not go here.

I felt skeptical about the standard of care after noticing swollen gums so I made an appointment elsewhere. Within a minute of looking in his mouth, a new provider was able to show me advanced dental disease with a dead tooth in the back of his mouth. I also asked one of the providers here if we could have labs drawn due to a sudden weight change. I was told "it's just old age". Well, I had labs drawn elsewhere and it's a thyroid imbalance. Steer clear. This place is horrific.

After Charlotte was bitten by another dog, she had to fight off a serious infection. During her recovery, I called or visited the facility nearly every day. My elderly neighbor, a man in his 80s, found a young cat that had been hit by a car lying in the…read moreroad. The cat tried to run away but was dragging both hind legs behind it. He picked it up and took it to Willow Oak. He wasn't a client of theirs but I was and I recommended them. They took the young cat right in and did x-rays and determined that its injuries were too serious and that euthanasia would be the best thing to do. They euthanized the cat at no charge. My neighbor offered to pay but they said that wasn't necessary. They were very kind and generous and responsive to need in a time of urgency. I am a client of Dr. Cagle who is beyond wonderful in his treatment of animals. All of his support staff have always been very helpful and polite too. The prices are very reasonable. I'm very happy to have found such a great veterinary practice.
