    Verandah from my room

This was a fabulous find. I understand they are re-constructing some balconies on the higher floors between 9am-5pm M-F, but since I was always away on business during those hours, it never affected me. The view is spectacular, given that the hotel touches the sand dunes. You can exit the backdoor of the hotel, and cross a tiny bridge and sink your feet in the warm sands, and dip your feet in the warm waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel has quite a lot of character, tastefully decorated, and plenty of TVs for us sports lovers. I really liked the room I stayed in, room 213. Not too far from the elevator, but not noisy. Well laid out interior enabled me to get a lot of work done on my computer on the hotel's free Wi-Fi. The gym downstairs was really nice as well, better than some hotel gyms I've had to suffer through at other hotels. If you leave the card hanging on your door before 3am, they bring you your room service with a smile. Really nice place to stay.

    Another treasure from the ocean.

We love this place! Our second stay. The hot tubs are amazing and the balcony facing the ocean was great each morning to watch the sun rise and to have coffee too! We also left the sliding glass door open at night to hear the surf! What a blessing! We are more like Holiday Inn Express people so this level of luxury is a treat!

Impessed with the hotel upon arrival. However, when it was time to go to bed, the customer service was less than acceptable. I opened the couch bed and found dried blood all over it. Additionally, the previous blanket was on it hinting at the fact that none of it had been cleaned. When I called the front desk to ask for help, the front desk staff insinuated I had left the blood there and did not so much as apologize. This is the first review I am leaving just as a warning to others who expect cleanliness in their rooms and helpfulness from staff.

A perfectly clean hotel! No issues at all!!! Super spacious rooms. It felt more like an apartment. The most perfect view ... EVER! It's a great location. Toiletries are nice with luxurious thick SPG Towels to use. The bed was heavenly! I would stay here again and I hope to soon!!! You can't go wrong with this hotel. The front desk staff is nice. Parking is free. There's a restaurant/bar in the lobby and you can get in-room dining. They have a little pantry where you can get snacks and necessities. The elevator is quick. The decor is really nice and has to be newly updated. A pool area to the side. No stains or marks anywhere. They have everything by key entry so no riffraff can bother you. I really enjoyed it.

We stayed here 6 nights & were very happy. The location is a huge plus, as you walk out the back of the hotel right onto the beach. There also are balconies that face the beach & give you great views. Our room included a large separate area with a couch & a TV when you enter, plus a large bedroom inside, overlooking the ocean. The staff was professional & responsive whenever we asked for anything. They follow protocols such as wearing masks.

Pet Friendly with a Smile ! your pooch Is welcomed here in the hotel, boardwalk and even on the Beach !!! Every morning and late afternoon our pooch enjoyed walking on the beach. This hotel has great ocean views. Room 203 Has a direct view to the ocean and boardwalk From its private balcony. The Hotel offers free coffee & Tea every morning till early afternoon, then free lemon infused water in the lobby. Free use of beach towels at front desk Well appointed fitness room on first floor. There is a terrace which offers outdoor seating to eat and converse or to just watch the action.. they also offer a cozy area with a fire pit to relax at night Breakfast is not included, it cost $9.95 per person But is well worth its offerings of cold & hot options Many items to choose from and the service and staff are Very friendly and helpful The rooms are well appointed and very clean , as well is the entire hotel . We were very comfortable The parking lot is ample but spaces go quick The pool is small and not so private as it faces the parking lot and boardwalk, but again very clean There are 2 restaurants next to hotel. The one across the street Sneakers and one next door Crab house , we recommend sneakers and if you wanna drive or walk 2.1 miles we recommend the Outback Steakhouse where the staff is very welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel . Everyone was extremely professional and Friendly, we were 150% satisfied with everything, that we extended our stay Funny enough our dog didn't want to leave! Also If you are into Organic foods and holistic shopping Approximately 3 miles away is Lucky's Market sort of like a small Whole Foods market, coupon available below - see pictures. Enjoy !

I'm not big on writing reviews but I love Jacksonville so much I want other people to love it as much as I do. I can't recommend this hotel enough! As a Jacksonville native, I always knew this hotel existed but never stayed of course...until I moved to Texas 5 years ago and brought my boyfriend for vacation 3/14 - 3/19. I chose this hotel for multiple reasons: The location is perfect to walk to anything and everything, restaurants, bars, a bike rental shop, & of course it's beach front! I read some reviews prior to staying and shockingly a few weren't good which I think is crazy! Everyone at the hotel was nice and helpful, our rooms were cleaned beyond my expectation every day and restocked, and the balcony view can't be beat. We've stayed at a different hotel on the beach in Atlantic Beach and this one I would choose over that one any day! We didn't use room service or drink at the bar in the hotel only because I knew all the good places to go from growing up there but the prices were great I looked at them to compare to the previous hotel. Parking was never an issue, I seriously had no problems! I can't recommend this place enough!

The oceanfront location is hard to beat! All suites with large balcony, rooms are good sized, so perfect for families. Service is mostly good. The property is clean, although definitely not modern or newish. Few negatives: slow elevators, dated old decor in the rooms, and, most importantly, it is hard to justify quite high prices. It is Four Points in April, not necessarily highest season, and it is not Westin or W. Still, very pleasant weekend with the family, and I recommend this property, especially if the price is right. There are definitely perks for SPG Gold and Platinum Members that make the stay more pleasurable too.

The day before the wedding he was setting up tables and refused to let us decorate in advanced while he was there setting up stating he needed to be compensated for his time (he already had to be there) he was drinking our liquor at our open bar and kept hitting on our bartender (who told us he made her uncomfortable)even though he had a wedding ring on. Advised me that we needed to pay extra money to use their sound/lighting equipment and out of 100+ weddings only one used the Their own equipment and lost the ability to play sound. Our DJ had all his own equipment and preferred to use his. He advised us against it citing their equipment was pre wired and was the only equipment that works (trying to charge us extra to use) I declined and our DJ had no issue whatsoever. Lucas is greedy and money hungry as he is the only one who sets up and cleans up the events. He acted like he had a team of people but no it's just him and you must pay him more money if you need the venue longer than 8 hours. It was extremely inconsiderate of Lucas to not allow us to drop off our decor the night before while he was setting up tables. We didn't ask him to help us unload anything just showed up asking to drop off decor and was told I would have to compensate him for his time there even though he was already there. He's nice up front until he gets your money and then changes.

Such a RED FLAG! Before we signed our contract, it was Clay who was the venue manager at the time and he was incredible. Six months prior, I reached out with a question then was shared that Andrea was the new venue manager. Two months before the wedding Andrea had such poor communication and there were changes with the venue offerings that were not shared with me until I asked for certain furniture but found they didn't offer those items any more. Such another huge red flag on your end as a venue to not even reach out to me to discuss or apologize for your horrible venue manager, Andrea, for her behavior DURING my wedding at The Glass Factory. Within minutes of leaving the ceremony with my husband Andrea barges into the room about a problem with one of my guests. Andrea shared that my guest was unhappy that she was not let in for the ceremony when I in fact instructed all vendors to allow entry for guests during my ceremony but to leave them in the back inside of the venue near the entry door. My family friend missed the ENTIRE ceremony and Andrea was so loud and disruptive during my first alone time with my husband. RED FLAGS. I asked Andrea for her to apologize to my guest and she said no. My husband had to tell her she needed to leave the room because she was causing me so much anxiety and I was on the brink of tears because she was stressing me out so much. Attached you'll find information sent from my coordinator to all vendors which included Andrea the venue manager for the Glass Factory in Jacksonville, FL. My wedding was in early March and the venue was fairly warm as well. Very unique venue but if I could do my wedding all over again, I wish I could have chosen a different venue due to my experience with Andrea and The Glass Factory. I beg you to never get married here!!!!
