The prices were also higher than expected and we were required to pay nearly 2000.00, the balance of our order upfront. We could not get information on the delivery until the day before. Our plants were not as ordered and arrived strapped to a flat bed truck after we were assured they would be delivered in a box truck to protect the plants. It was not what we had ordered and the plants were damaged. We have been awaiting a 375.00 refund, which we have not received to date. There is no way I would recommend Plants of Joy.

I found that they stock some pretty uncommon succulents and "indoor" plants, which I appreciate, because I love the rare and variegated varieties! She also mentioned that if I wanted anything that she didn't have, she could have it within a week. With orders, you can pick up, or she will deliver. Although it's preferred that you make an appointment to shop, you are still able to shop without an appointment if they are in the store. The day I shopped, I did not have an appointment. Pre-orders, special orders, and appointments can be made through the Instagram page, because their website is not yet active.

First they ask you where your local store is based on zip code. I put that in, got my local store. But then I was been asked for a password for an account I don't have. Can't register for an account online either; it keeps telling me nope, I'm registered, but there's no way to recover my password or get a new one. It just goes in an endless loop of "NO". Not a user-friendly site. Today, Sat. Feb. 13, I tried to put in an order via San Carlos Hardware, but they told me they can't do that and I should call Moosa, so I tried to call. I got a message saying they were closed - for the CHRISTMAS holidays! Uh, I know COVID has blurred a lot of stuff, but I still know what month it is. And if I were running a business I'd sure update my phone message more often. I hate to give them 3 stars, but their customer service both online and by phone is pretty nonexistent.

Instead you have a natural setting consisting of large trees, meandering paths and a few live animals to keep you entertained while you shop for things for your own home or garden. You will find flowers, plants, and other unique gift items. The property is set up to host private events, such as farm style dinners, weddings and other artistic functions. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful with deciding on the best plants for our area. In addition to plants for landscape, there was a large variety of beautiful succulent pumpkins and really lovely, handmade lotions and exfoliators (with samples). My kiddos were especially thrilled with the DIY succulent station and large pumpkins.

It is way more than just a plant nursery. My husband and I like to come here on Sunday mornings and just sit by the ponds to just unplug , relax, and listen to the sounds of nature. It is such a good getaway from the over stimulization of everyday life. You can come here and just walk through all the pretty flowers and plants or have a picnic on their many picnic tables. You can buy fish food from the front desk to feed the fishes and turtles in the pond. On every first Saturday of every month they have "free succulent Saturday" which is a local makers market with all kind of different treasures. Every adult can get a pick of a succulent and they are a decent size! I was surprised! They also do kids crafts and have food and drinks for sell. I would also follow their Instagram as they have classes throughout the year.
