Always have prompt, fair and helpful service when I call Four Seasons. In this instance our rental unit had a problem with the AC on a hot and steamy weekend. The service technician came to the unit, serviced our furnace and AC in prompt and efficient manner and offered (but didn't push) on recommending changes to our HVAC to make it work better. This would be a 5 star review but: (1) PLEASE get rid of the AI agent for calls. It is unhelpful and not personalized to manage HVAC calls. (2) If you're not going to make the scheduled window, that is okay BUT please phone ahead that you're going to be late. Prices were fair for a weekend service but certainly not cheap for an AC repair (~$400). read more

UPDATE: A new tech did return at 3:30pm (window was 8am to noon), but not before I spent 118 minutes total on the phone on hold or speaking to various people. 118 minutes of my own time to understand what is going on isn't acceptable, period, even if the tech who eventually comes is capable and does a solid job. The polite, knowledgeable tech did make the air coming out of the registers cold again (thank you!!!), but my original problem remains: there is not enough power in my current system to cool my house efficiently and sufficiently. Already getting worried about the 5+ days we have coming up of 90+ degrees F weather. My AC will run constantly that entire period because it will never be able to keep up with the sun bake and my high ceilings, WHICH I KNEW FROM THE JUMP, PEOPLE! Hence my original inquiry with Four Seasons. [rage emoji] So while the new tech came and undid what his colleague managed to make worse the prior day, I am currently exactly where I started but down $2k. **I will reserve full judgement for a few more weeks, after the leak package determines if I have a leak,** but regardless of the findings, I don't think I will trust this company in the future. I purchased a new Lennox AC unit from Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning in 2017. Unfortunately, problems started almost immediately. Within the first year, multiple technicians had to come out to address issues including improper drainage and the outdoor unit not turning on properly. In 2022, the entire system stopped working and I was told the coils needed to be replaced. When I asked whether it was normal for a 4.5-year-old unit to require new coils, I was told it was. Later that same year, I had to pay for additional refrigerant because the system was low. Again, I was told this was normal. Due to the number of service interruptions, Four Seasons provided me with two years of complimentary cleanings. Throughout ownership, I followed Four Seasons' recommended maintenance schedule and had all spring and fall cleanings performed by their technicians. Because the system was serviced regularly by the same company, it is difficult to understand why so many major issues continued to occur. In spring 2026, Four Seasons performed my annual cleaning and reported that the system was running fine. However, by May, my outdoor unit stopped working. A technician determined that both the capacitor and contactor needed to be replaced--issues that apparently were not identified during the recent maintenance visit. The technician who performed the repair was helpful, and fortunately the parts were covered under warranty. Now, just three weeks later, my AC has stopped working again, and I am waiting for yet another service call to determine the problem. At this point, I have decided this will be my last service call with Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning. The constant breakdowns, inconsistent diagnoses, and repeated service visits on a system that is not even nine years old have been extremely frustrating. Another concern has been the inconsistency in technician knowledge and troubleshooting. Over the years, I have received different explanations from different technicians, and the quality of diagnosis has varied significantly. Because of this, I now specifically request an experienced technician whenever service is needed, as I no longer have confidence that every technician sent to my home has the same level of expertise. One final disappointment has been my experience with Four Seasons' "No-Breakdown Guarantee." After being told my system was operating properly during its annual maintenance visit, the unit broke down in May and then again just three weeks later. Having two breakdowns within such a short period makes it difficult for me to place much value in a guarantee that is intended to prevent exactly those types of issues. Several individual technicians were professional, courteous, and genuinely tried to help, and customer service has always been polite. My concern is with the overall consistency of the service, diagnosis, and quality control provided by the company. After years of recurring repairs, inconsistent diagnoses, and major component failures on a system that has been regularly maintained by Four Seasons, I have lost confidence in their ability to provide a lasting solution. My frustration is not that repairs occasionally happen--it is that nearly every few years, and sometimes every few weeks, another issue arises. I hired four seasons plumbing to fix a leak in an old valve. They came out took a look and gave an estimate and was able to come out the next day to do the work. They came on the early end of the window which was amazing and it only took about an hour for the plumber to put in a new pipe. He was friendly and made sure everything worked before leaving. He was careful not to disturb any of the other old pipes that were still in good shape. It was about the same price as others I was quoted. read more

I had a sewer camera inspection done last November but did not review the recording until May of the following year, as I had been working out of state for a couple of months. Upon reviewing the recording, I noticed the timestamp was dated year 2000. Four Seasons readily addressed my concern by offering to send another plumber out for a second inspection. Our second plumber, Aiden B., was very knowledgeable, experienced, and patient in answering all of my questions and concerns clearly and in detail. Aiden detected a sewer line separation that the previous plumber had overlooked by rushing through the job. He thoroughly documented all of the crucial details in the iPad report included with the service. The silver lining of requesting Four Seasons to reinspect was catching something the first plumber had missed. Aiden stayed after the appointment to contact the excavation team from another department to put together an estimate for the job, and took the additional time to answer all of my questions comprehensively. It's Jan. 20, 2025 and yes I'm back. I promise I'm not a glutton for punishment. The electrician we had for 4 Seasons is a gem and that interaction gave me hope or re-established my faith so I reached out to them for this latest HVAC issue. Booked FOR MLK MONDAY more than a week in advance. Booked MLK Monday and the rep came to site explained the costs and I paid. The part was delivered via Roadie and for $400+ I was fine so long as the heat gets going. Tech came out to make the repair found more issues that went without being discussed. Now, I can fix the issue with another $700 or replace the whole furnance for $11k if not 10k. Y'all talk about feeling scammy. Jose explained things that I deemed him genuine. He called Sarah the account manager and I relayed the issue: CONFIDENCE IS LOST. How did the inital rep not see this? Everyone is apologetic and offers to replace the furnace for 7k. Hear me now ... I paid. I booked for Wed Jan. 21st in the AM. The carbon monoxide threat is the scariest thing and yes... We have a sensor/alarm right in the room for fire and carbon monoxide but it's the basement. Welp, woke up Tues. Jan. 20th at 6a to no water. Figured the line is frozen. Sure enough.... I call and learn there's an AI assistant. Jesus get me off this cross. I'm so bombarded with AI commands that I i get through it. They confirm a plumber will show today before 12noon. Well, I'm running to the docs and surprise surprise... My family calls to say the plumber left. Theres nothing he can do. I'm like what?!? If he fixes things now and it happens again then bam you'll keep having the problem. I'm baffled because the furnance is booked and paid for. Couldn't he proactively reach out to his company and see this? Well, looks like the new furnance isn't working properly nor outputting enough heat to meet the set 75 degree thermostat setting. It only gets to 69. I call for someone to come out and I email both account executives. Michael tells me to call and get help but Tuesday he was just the man to help us and we have his direct number. Never heard back from acct exec Sarah. In all, I want my old unit. They take their belongings and go. I can't believe I call the big boys and get apathy or sheer unfettered neglect or ignorance but either way... I should have found a true local company and kept moving ahead. This place is a snake with too many heads and no accountability. In mid-May, our A/C stopped working. The error on our thermostat said we had a short. It took Four Seasons 4 visits (3 HVAC techs and 1 electrician) to provide a solution, which was to either perform a significant amount of maintenance or to replace our condenser. Based on our conversations with them and the immediate need to get this fixed (my wife was 34 weeks pregnant), we decided to replace the condenser at significant cost. After installation, it still didn't work because there was a short. This is our main complaint - we came to Four Seasons with an issue, they had 4 chances to identify the issue, and they sold us an expensive solution that didn't fix our issue. They either have a serious lack of expertise or intentionally oversold us. The installation was supposed to take 4-8 hours in one visit. It took 2 visits from different service techs and we had 4 additional visits after that because our A/C stopped working. From the initial service visit on May 20 through June 16, they were here 10 times. They have been on site for at least 35 hours and we've also spent a significant amount of time waiting for them to arrive or talking to them on the phone. Only one tech came twice and most of them had no background on our situation when they arrived. Other less significant complaints include them not showing up to scheduled appointments, not properly scheduling appointments we discussed, not installing things properly and having to reinstall them, leaving screws on the ground outside of my 3 year old's room, techs constantly showing up unprepared and not understanding the situation and what they are there for, and the customer service manager taking 10 days to call me to discuss my claim when I was told they'd return my call in 48 hours. I also had to follow up twice to get that call back. I finally spoke to a manager on their customer service team on June 22. Their stance is that I was given options, I picked one, and I have working A/C. They did what I agreed to. My stance is they pitched solutions that wouldn't have fixed my problem after taking 4 visits to diagnose the issue, the solution I picked didn't fix my problem so it was not an appropriate solution, that solution was very expensive and unneeded, and they took 10 visits over 4 weeks and countless hours to get our A/C working again. After reviewing my case, they've decided the best course of action is to give me 5 years of maintenance for free, which has minimal value to me or cost to them considering we have a brand new condenser that already has a 10 year warranty. After getting off the phone, they also sent me a refund equal to less than 1% of what I paid them. Apparently, they see no issues with this experience and that is the level of ownership they are willing to take. read more

Six months later, AC breaks down (bad luck with HVAC this year). This time, service guy says the condenser is shot, recommends total replacement (about $10k+). Checking for leaks would cost $2k+. I am filing a complaint regarding ongoing issues with Four Seasons related to air duct work at my home. I originally scheduled a duct cleaning service. During that appointment, the technician informed me that the work could not be completed because asbestos was present and recommended asbestos removal. After the removal was completed, I was told that Four Seasons needed to install duct boots before the project could move forward. He also suggested the system may be low on refrigerant. The quoted repair prices were approximately $700 for the contactor and $500 for the capacitor. During the visit, I was also told that R-410A refrigerant was obsolete, which was presented as another reason to consider replacing the system. After researching the issue myself, I learned that while R-410A is being phased out in favor of newer refrigerants, it is still available for servicing existing systems. The technician ultimately recommended replacing the entire system, including the condenser, compressor, evaporator coil, whip, and mounting pad, at a cost of approximately $13,000. When I asked about repairing the individual components, I was told those repairs would only carry a 90-day warranty, which was part of the reason a full system replacement was recommended. Had I accepted the diagnosis and recommendation without further investigation, I could have spent $13,000 replacing equipment that did not need to be replaced. My experience left me concerned that the diagnosis was rushed and that expensive repair and replacement recommendations were made without sufficiently identifying the root cause of the problem. For a/c repair May 4, 2026 My tech Alejandro Alvarado was friendly and professional until he lied. He made sure everything was perfect and running smoothly. He cleaned up after himself. Edit: My tech Alejandro Alvarado replaced my original coil with a much smaller coil and he replaced the water drain box with a bigger box and lied and said he didn't. He tried to convince me that the replacement box was there all along. My system is now not energy efficient. The tech gave me his google card for review and the CEO David Musial is listed to call if anything is wrong. How does he not know that his employees lie, and gaslight customers. My original install was in 2022 in this home, I was lied to about the permit, he had no permit and that created a problem for me. The main installer had a partner working with him that illegally took videos of me and home and posted to snap chat. Now I'm dealing with this, more lies and not a correct replacement.. It's not a matter of he said she said... polygraph is a business owner's friend. Ladies and Gents, beware... these people are not honest. I debated whether to bring this up.. I thought I should because they keep getting away with lying to the customers. One person can ride and get all the way to the main sewer line clear in the next one they got the biggest prayer and all the big equipment couldn't do it or use a camera to see, but the one with the rider came out rotted. I worked with Four Seasons for a totally new HVAC system for my elderly Mother. The sales person as ok at first and we signed up for it and got approved for their payment plan. Then it became a nightmare. They didn't finish the installation at one full day as they said. They ruined sole carpet with grease stains, and made a big mess. Another crew came by the next day, well after that time given. They finished it up and left. A few weeks later the AC stopped working when it was in the 90s. The temp in her house was over 80 degrees and I was upset. The salesman just referred me to their generic customer service as he was done and no help. They came out the next day and fixed it. They have no reason why a 3 week AC would stop working, not did they do anything for her. Another 3 weeks and it went out again! This time I was mad. They came out and said the installers didn't put some part in and now it was fixed. These are not professional people. Then the next week the Village sent me an email saying she was going to be in default for not scheduling an inspection. I had no idea as they never put a permit up!I had to call and again talk to their customer service. They made up some excuses, and emailed me the permit and told me to schedule the inspection. The Village inspector found numerous things wrong. So Four Seasons had to come back almost 2 months after the install and redo many things. A very unsatisfying experience. AC replaced in 2022, problems began very shortly after. Four Seasons cannot document what was and was not done during install, may have voided manufacturer warranty. Took 6 visits to diagnose problem. One of their service techs left a mess in our toilet. Promised discounts and price adjustments but will not document any were given. "All-inclusive invoice" gives no detail, just a number that seemed (from research) to be 10x a price that seemed fair. Strongly advise against using this company. Stonewalling and footdragging before concealing pricing. Are zero stars available? (8/31/25) I see I've gotten FS owner's personal attention at last. His response as evasive as his customer care team. Have heard these nonresponses already. QCI may not have detected slow leak after 2wks & FS cannot document how seal at masonry around lineset was removed or why. Concerns appeared sp24, not 2yrs later. Hopefully this is my last review on this matter. I can't say enough about Four Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning within the last two weeks, just for the fact of wanted to see resolution for me, when I will be honest didn't think it would happen. After some back and forth and decisions to make, they stepped in and went above and beyond what I ever expected. They came out, put in my chimney liner, and didn't charge me a dime--something they absolutely didn't have to do. That kind of grace and generosity is rare and it really showed me how they cared for me who my family is a 30+ year relationship. What stands out most is how they treated me during this process, They don't overlook loyal, long-tenured customers; they make sure you're cared for like family. In a world where companies can feel transactional, Four Seasons proves there are still businesses that truly value people and do the right thing. I honor that. So Dave the supervisor came with Gustavo and Mireslav and Dave not only gave me the valuable information but made sure I understood everything that will happen and the process. Another supervisor came in the afternoon so I really believe they wanted to make sure everything was done, and in order. If you're looking for quality work, integrity, and a team that puts their heart into what they do, I can wholeheartedly recommend them. *UPDATE* This is a follow-up to my review below. The A/C system is now running but the service continued to be problematic. The tech returned the next day to install a new transformer in the air handler, but had failed to source the cause of failure. So, the new transformer fails 20 sec after installation. They needed to call in a master tech, who thankfully drove 1.5 hours that afternoon, to properly trace the failure to a short in the thermostat. The new thermostat was ordered and the master tech returned first thing the next morning to install it along with a new transformer. The thermostat is not part of the warranty and was 3 months beyond warranty. Parts was kind to honor it under warranty. The system was repaired. the warranty honored. Unfortunately, days were lost to scheduled appointments missed and dropped appointments by both AI and humans. Days were lost to not taking care to diagnose the problem. Four Seasons does care for their reputation in the market, as a customer service representative reached out to me. Eventually, the correct people became involved in the scheduling and the repair to bring this project to a conclusion. The customer rep kindly provided me an addition 3 years on my warranty, for my trouble. I will continue with Four Seasons to get my money's worth out of my contract, but my trust is a different issue.* I purchased central A/C through Costco, installed by 4 seasons 15 months ago. That went fine and the price was good, I think. Now I need a first service call, as the A/C is not starting and has no thermostat display. The sticker on the blower offers 24 hour service from all the local area codes. Super, cause it is hot! I am a senior with 3 bulldogs who are especially susceptible to the heat. We are staying in the basement to keep cool. They missed my initial appointment day. A tech or someone called me in the evening to reschedule the for next day and then never followed through making the appointment. And no human help I managed to reach after that was able to correct and get someone to the job any better than the AI agent. So here I sit, still waiting on the third day. At least it is a bit cooler today and my pups aren't suffering as much. I did talk to a human today that assured me I am on their schedule. This is not the service quality I was expecting. Not good customer service by any measure, really. Sell a $5 figure system and then lose the trust of the customer and future business on the first service call. They seem to be scheduling by AI but the customer experience is not good. Problem solving and problem correction of their scheduling seems, a problem. I was happy enough I think, with the system installation. I had better expectations for the service side than this. Then again this new Lennox is not starting after one season, just 15 months after installation. My last unit never went down like this in over 20 years If anyone could recommend a reliabe hvac service in W burbs, that has responsive service and is easy to communicate with, please I would appreciate it. read more

I am writing this review to warn others "Buyers Beware" I recently had an issue where water was gushing out of the ground outside my home, and I was extremely distressed. I contacted Four Seasons Plumbing, and they came out on two separate visits, I was quoted nearly $20,000 for excavation, permits, tearing up my concrete, and additional work. Because of the urgency, I felt pressured and overwhelmed. However, something didn't feel right, so I decided to get a second opinion. I then contacted Reid & Pederson Drainage, and within minutes they responded and came out. After assessing the issue, they were able to address the problem without the extensive and costly work that was previously recommended by Four Seasons and saved me nearly $19,000. I'm sharing my experience to encourage others: please do not make rushed decisions when you are in distress. Always get a second opinion, especially when large excavation and high costs are involved. Four Seasons even charged me a fee on my first visit, knowing that they had scheduled a next-day visit. Shame - Shame. I would not recommend Four Seasons based on my experience. Updated to add (after the half-assed response to this Yelp review): My husband finally got some resolution from them, but only after hiring another company to fix the compressor they sparked and shorted, and after fixing the leaky PVC pipes himself. They are never allowed on our property again. These are pretty egregious complaints for their business representative to be unaware of them... unless it's par for the course. ******* We had them come out to fix our central air. Someone came out, gave us a quote, signed us up for financing, and then the nightmare began. It's now four weeks and the issue isn't resolved. I'm about to file a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General. We expect a diagnostic evaluation, a repair plan, a commitment to a plan of action, and a timely follow-through. They failed in each of these expectations. In general, the contractors don't seem to be supported by the systems of the company. For example - the first guy who came out spent most of the day driving across the Chicagoland area between warehouses for a part. Why is there not an inventory list or a simple phone call to prevent this? Also, since a different tech comes to the house each time, there doesn't seem to be any consistency in communication re: the plan of action in fixing our system. It feels like the guy who shows up didn't get a briefing from the guy who came before. So far, we've dealt with 5 different people. We called customer service and they insulted us by offering a "discount" on a new system from them, even though ours is only 4 years old - despite that one of their technicians even remarked at how top-of-the-line our existing one is. We find this to be predatory and unethical. AND - the company we hired to fix 4 Season's mistakes told us our parts were under warranty. It only takes a brief online search to see that many people warn others about your tendency to upsell. We didn't realize it would be *this* bad, though. read more
