I had 4 different companies come out to do assessment of AC system that was not working in my home. ARR was first to respond and first to come out. All the others said i needed an entirely new system because they couldn't get needed parts. ARR was able to get part needed easily. Sam and Antonio came out and in a couple hours had the system working perfectly and at a fraction of the cost of other bids. I also feel like Sam's assessment and options were the most honest and in my best interests and needs. Delighted with their services! This was @the 4th company that we had called to diagnose our ailing furnace. Finally, we all agreed that it had to be replaced and they gave us a quote. Two workmen arrived promptly in the morning , worked hard all day, and didn't leave until after 5:00. Apparently the original furnace setup had been incorrect and had to be redone from scratch (at no extra charge). These are my new homies. I mean that. My tenant called on a Sunday night stating that the house was "freezing". I called the company that inspected my unit before the tenant moved and they now state they don't service boiler systems. Wait. a. minute. How does that work now??? Always Ready Repair was extremely efficient, affordable and professional. Having my furnace fixed by the company's technician Tim was a very pleasant experience. My furnace stopped working overnight and I called Always Ready Repair around 3pm on the following day. The receptionist was very helpful and sent a technician to my home within the hour. The technician arrived and was very professional and friendly. He wore a protective mask and foot coverings while in my home. He explained every discovery he made and all the possible fixes for my furnace. Ultimately, he discovered that the circuit board had been blown. He ordered a new one and waited for the delivery in my driveway. Once it arrived he installed the new component and showed me the bad one. After only an hour of being in my home he had the furnace fixed and running like new. We were happy with their service until today. We had a service person look at our furnace about a month ago. He said he needed to order a part. We called two times before they said they still hadn't gone to get the part. We called a third time and they said they still didn't have the part. Finally they scheduled a time to come to replace the part. The repair person spent about 30 minutes in our house between the two visits. The part was covered by the warranty. The repair total was about $500. There was a "handling" fee for getting the part. We expressed our displeasure. We will never, ever call them again. read more

Their name says it all! Fantastic and came same day! Called to get dryer vent cleaned. Two gentlemen came promptly on time. They gave me a call first to let me know they were on their way. Very friendly, courteous, wore masks. Diagnosed the issue and recommended a solution. My vent didn't exit my home properly which I would have never known about until they told me. It was a big fire hazard. Lint was collecting inside a small area. They cleaned the vent as requested, And recommended a solution which I was pleased with. They also took time to answer a million other questions I had even though they work on a time budget they helped with so much more than they originally intended. I would highly recommend. This company is SO RUDE and unprofessional! Called this company for service my property's furnace for a simple fix. The lady on the phone took my information then asked if someone would be there to pay. Really!? She didn't even give me an ETA or anything! I chuckled and told her "yes ma'am"... When the service guy (MICK) arrived he was RUDE when he found out they were tenants and not the owners of the own and demanded to know who would pay him before even looking at the furnace. What gave them the impression that they were not going to get paid!? Tenants called me and we confirmed that he would get paid so he took a look and was able to make the repairs. There are many ways to confirm payment without making assumptions and demands before even assessing the problem. Needless to say I will NEVER use this company in the future and they will not be recommended. It's unfortunate because they came highly recommended by my neighbors. Our problem was not a big one: after our insulation project we were getting cellulose in the AC filter, and our insulation folk said there was a duct problem. This was the company that responded to our Yelp request, and we quickly set up an inspection. Dan came, diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed the duct. Air return is now great. My tenant had no heat in any of her rooms except the kitchen. I feared we might have to replace most of the baseboard heating units. Our water heater sensor broke and our house was without hot water. We had our hardwood floors refinished and the vapors of the wood stain caused the sensor to shut off. I was calling around for help to get the sensor fixed.The model water heater we had was a difficult one to get serviced. I called the company that was listed on the water heater unit but were like no we don't do that service. They recommended another company and they couldn't do it either. I went to yelp and was so happy to find Always Ready repair fixed water heaters. I reached out to them gave them my water heater model and number information buy sending pictures of the water heater model and serial numbers. My A/C wasn't blowing cold air and I called Always Ready Repair and made an appointment. The guy came out and found that I blew a capacitor (one of the cheapest parts to repair he stated). He had another capacitor in his truck and installed it and got me running within a half hour. Called Always Ready Repair on a Friday night after 10pm during a late September heatwave when the A/C went out and they were out within an hour or so. A/C unit is admittingly very old and they diagnosed the problem as being bad capacitors and a fried board, but, said he didn't have those parts available and wasn't sure if that would completely fix the issue and pushed a new system, at $4,000, as being the best option. Since it would be a day or two before they claimed they could schedule anything, I had another company come out the next day who confirmed the capacitors were bad, but, the board was perfectly fine and they fixed the issue on the spot. TL;DR: Price was fair for a late night emergency call and they were out within an hour and a half. Diagnosis was close to accurate, but, not as severe and they didn't even have the parts to attempt repair, instead pushing a brand new system, which left the experience on a sour note. read more

We had heard great things about this company from several friends and family members- even mere acquaintances. They lived up to their name. We live in an old condo in Oak Lawn. Our air conditioning/heating unit was ancient and didn't work. It was also located in the ceiling, which is abnormal. We also got a quote from Integrity in Orland Park and they told us they couldn't help us at all! Thank goodness Always Ready was able to tackle the project. They used a crane to lift the fan onto the roof of our building and spent two days in and out of the 120 degree attic. They modified the unit and ceiling for a perfect fit. They also cleaned our ducting and removed all kinds of debris from it. They were friendly, helpful, explained things to us, and went above and beyond to make us happy. They even placed their mats on the floor and brought their own vacuum to clean as they worked. They left the place spotless! (Except for some insulation in the hallway.)
