THIS IS A SCAM!!!! They took our deposit and then ghosted us! Four Seasons harassed up with a 'salesman' who lied to us about the fees and legality of building a sunroom in our backyard until we paid our deposit. Then once our town pointed out the zoning issues, Four Seasons refused to respond to emails and calls. They fraudulently took our deposit and then ran away with our money! THIS IS A SCAM!! DO NOT HIRE THEM! June 4, 2025 Update: This company is a FRAUD! They are lying to us. "Matthew L." Is NOT the business owner. He is just a Yelp bot - the Company has still not called us to rectify the issue, and return our $9300 deposit! I saw an ad on FB to get a free quote & design consultation. I always wanted a sunroom. Larry R came to my home in November of 2023. He told me that Four Seasons was the "creme de la creme", in business for 40+ years, & they are a one stop shop, etc... I could not afford the $120,000 glass sunroom so I went with the 3-season room enclosure, $87,000 cheaper. I did not look at reviews & thought if they have been around that long, they must know what they are doing. I was told I could finance the materials - sunroom kit but I had to pay the labor in cash. I was told they install sunrooms all year round. All kits are made at their Holbrook location & it will be a few months until kit is ready. In February, I woke up to a crew of men bringing in the kit - no call or notice. I was then told by Janet (project coordinator) I had to give them a check for the remaining balance - I was so confused since I financed it. That was rectified. Four Seasons sent the installer, Ken K, who I'm meeting for the first time, to install the sunroom. I was told Ken has been installing sunrooms for 20 years. However, my job, showed incredible contrast to that statement. Debris was left, my yard looked like a war zone, tools left plugged in, metal shards from cutting all over my yard (& I have animals), the work trucked leaked oil on my newly sealed driveway, Ken parked his truck on my lawn for several hours while I was at work, garbage left on ground, sawdust left all over outside, bushes & solar lights broken, my list goes on. This was just the exterior alone. The crew even dumped CEMENT in 4 different locations in my yard & when I asked why & that I want it cleaned up, I was told they had to let it harden to pick up, yet in 2 locations it was dumped through my chain-link fence & into my neighbors yard! After the first day of installation, I immediately reached out to John P, who is . I asked him to please come look at the job before any more work is done. He shrugged me off & said he does the final walk-through when its all completed. I have pictures, video, & correspondence to back this review in its entirety. They put a brace on a beam that is unsafe & the rafter isn't even full length. It even caused my deck to push up. So the floor was not level & off by 1/4" which led to the doors being crooked along with the windows. Nothing was squared nor leveled. When I asked, since I saw it with my naked eye, I was told its my deck. But even if that was the case, they should've made sure it was level & squared. My roof leaked in two separate spots. My gutter was not pitched correctly & holds water - does not drain. The wrong size leader was used & is half attached. They ripped my screen, replaced it & now there are ripples in it. Insulation was sometimes cut to size in some areas & cut short in others. I inquired about it & was told that was not a big deal. Some areas were caulked & other areas the light shines right through. My door lock was installed wrong & there gaps in both doors. The cutting of the wood &other materials is so choppy and jagged - cuts not lined, nails rusting in wood. They even reused my old deck posts for the footing! I complained, I wrote to Angus Morrison, who sends relentless emails asking for a 5-star review & is there to address any concerns yet never responded nor would see me when I went to the showroom. Then I was told by John that Four Seasons is only responsible for the material & not install. (BUT THEY SEND THE INSTALLERS, I WASNT GIVEN A SAY.) They basically said the original crew had to come here to refix their shotty work. I expressed my desire for a different crew & how uncomfortable I was with having the same crew back to fix all their mistakes. No thank you. So since, my complaints were falling on deaf ears, I contacted the finance company, who agreed to help as long as I worked with the merchant. Fast forward, to the end of June, a different crew was sent to try & remediate some of the issues. However, I was told that I will have to live with some things since ripping down the structure & starting from scratch is not an option. I have since been ghosted by them. The finance company decided to credit me around $1,700 on July 16, 2024, since its their policy if the merchant takes too long to address the issues. I only learned of this credit when I received a letter from an attorney representing Four Seasons, telling me I was in breach of contract, my warranty is voided & I had until the end of the month to cut them a check for that credit I was given. If I did not do so, I would be charged additional fees for the attorney. Keep in mind, in the attorney letter, they made sure to state that I secured MY OWN installer & that I called Four Seasons to look over the project. NOT TRUE! I called that attorney & left several messages. That entire letter was a misrepresentation. BUYER BEWARE! read more

Well, it's been 65 days since my last review, and still waiting for latest "rush order" for parts, since incorrect parts were shipped a few weeks ago. Last one was placed 10/19, and construction company here got 4Seasons guy on the phone who assured us it was shipping overnight, to be here 10/20 - by noon. That was 7 days ago. Not sure if it's 4Seasons problem, or their selected trucking carrier, but ..... IT DOESN'T MATTER. It's been 106 days since ground was broken for sunroom (July 12), with a series of orders being incorrectly filled causing follow-up "rush" orders. Oh, and since contractor has done necessary work to get ready for 4Seasons parts, we've h ad water leaking into house & basement since Aug 16 (71 days). Astonishing!! Yes, this is aimed Four Seasons HQ in Holbrook, NY. (I understand you may have a retail outlet there also.). This is aimed at the company that Fitch Construction here ordered my sunroom from - 4Seasons in Holbrook. No mixup. read more

Do not do business with Four Seasons. Their authorized dealers give outrageous estimates. Then they use the excuse they cannot give you the correct window measurements. The HQ in Holbrook will never return your calls. Their customer service is so bad. They do not stand behind their products. Beware before you hire these people. We had a Liferoom installed 3 years ago and we booked an appointment to have the room cleaned We received a call 2 days prior to appointment and were told they couldn't come I asked if we could schedule another date and were told not at this time. I asked if they knew another company that could help as we needed it cleaned Was told no I would not recommend this company as they are not easy to deal with And back out of appointments. We inherited a four seasons solarium when we bought our house in the summer and it has leaked since the beginning. I have called literally every glass, contractor, and sunroom repair group and no one will touch it. The general consensus is the this brand has products that leak quickly and are of bad quality, so it'll only get worse. We've managed as best we can still looking for maintenance - the only other franchise in our area (Palatine) says they don't do maintenance. Well the issue got real this week when a NEW drip came in heavy enough that water damaged a surge protector that was plugged in, our TV, and one game console. Not to mention the hazard this could have posed. the room is heated and wired and should be safe to use as a room and not just an accessory. It looks like it was installed by a franchise that is no longer in service. NO RESPONSE from email or call to the national office, despite it being business hours. This thing is less than 12 years old and for an astoundingly expensive project, there should be someone who can help. If we have to tear it out and replace it with a new one, it will certainly NOT be with this company. read more

I have used Four Seasons Sunrooms for my backyard Sunroom. The project was completed in 2023. I used a contractor they sent over to me. But they say they are not responsible for the contractor sent over I was not informed accordingly. Beware that the contractors do not advertise for themselves. They get fed clients from four Seasons Sunrooms. All should be aware of this upfront. Terrible job on having quality control with their recommended contractors. read more

Bad customer service and every expensive parts. We have fourseasons sunroom for many years. Couple of years ago, all roofer glasses and some smaller awning windows had been replaced with manufactory warranty. Last years all awning opener operator (total five) of replaced windows failed apart (looks manufacture defect, three of them are barely use, but still broken). When we tried to get it fixed. It is a nightmare. Whenever we call manufacture and leave message, they will ask one of local dealer to call you. Usually a local dealer will call you, once they find out what was going on, they will say work with original dealer whoever installed them. It taken us a year to hold a dealer who did installation. They told me the openers are not in the warranty. It is different story when the project occurred, we were told "our warranty is life time and transferable". So what those warranty for? It even cannot cover a small parts which seems the defects of manufacture. Please see attached pictures. Finally, the dealer gave us a estimation for awning opener parts only (quota price is for 4) not included installation, it will be around $900. (~$220/each, the whole new window only cost about ~$250) Does any owner have same problem I have? how do you get it fixed? Really appreciate your input and help. read more

Called a week prior to the date I was given for a home estmate - Was called that Monday and was told they did not even do the type work or covering (Screen) - and to boot he was hurt has just had surgery and had only received the job request that day. Was given a different company number with no answer. Called back to the toll-free number of Four Seasons Sunrooms and Windows - what a run around they have to find a "contractor" in your area to do that type of work, keeping in mind on my original call I gave the measurements and the type of covering wanted. - It was like starting all over speaking with the middle man that has NOTHING to do with the work needed. Someone from Four Seasons replied to my prior review of this item. He said I should contact him. I did, using the links on his website as he did not leave any way to contact him. (Please note that is the case with his other replies to complaints posted on this site.) I have not had any response since. Let that advise you before selecting a Four Seasons Sunroom. Better to build using conventional construction and windows that you can be sure are replaceable from more than one vendor. Four Seasons will not be there when you need replacement panels and no one else will want to do the job. My contractor spent the better part of 2 months seeking any way to replace the windows. The proposed costs were more than triple of what windows normally cost and no one wanted the job. read more

They called my husband this am and wanted to come in one hr, he had to see if the tenant was available then made changes to his work schedule, they said they'll call him in 30 min to confirm, they never called so he called then they changed there mind and said between 5-6 , he's waiting at the apt and they called him and canceled who's paying me for two days pay and my husbands time! No one showed up. 2 hours after failing to show up, they contacted me via text with the following message: "We are trying to reach you because you were interested in getting a free estimate... While the sales process here could have used a bit of work(70 page PPTS shown to you over and over again, questions not getting answered, yelling at times....)...my family and I decided that we wanted the sunroom even despite that fact. That being said, we moved our communication directly to the owner, Angus(highly recommended if you need a better experience)...and if you do that you'll be Golden as he's probably the most professional representative you could ever speak to- James was a good person to deal with as well! Other honorable mentions - the expeditor (Diana) they used, was phenomenal, really on top of her stuff. Janet the coordinator was excellent as well! And last but not least...Ken who actually did the job was very professional, and came back to check on any leaks we had after heavy rain came now. So far so good, no more leaks and beautiful sunroom! read more

4 Seasons should do a better job of vetting their authorized distributors. Keith Kelcher of 2 HireHandyman did a horrible job of installing Liferoom Shades on 2 sides of my covered porch. The tracks were cut too short and the measurements were wrong. The front shades stopped working the first week and the back shades came completely out of the tracks. I had to pleasure of meeting with George of Four Seasons to evaluate the Life Room for my home. It's an amazing product that would make your friends and neighbors super jealous (that's the point, right?) :) Though priced fairly for what it is (trust me, I got several quotes on a 'stick built' patio as well), ultimately with a change in circumstances I decided not to pursue the project for my current home. I didn't choose an alternative, because frankly there isn't one - its a product that stands alone. George was great, I appreciated the professionalism, candor, and honest sales process as well as transparency in pricing options. Its not at all like dealing with a fly-by-night contractor who spits in the wind to get a price for you. I anticipate that I'll be back. read more

We had four seasons to the house twice. they installed 18 windows for us. The work was great. The staff was great. However, one of the latches on a casement window failed twice. in March 2020 a service tech came and removed the latch from my property. I have not heard from Four Seasons since then. Local installer was a "certified dealer" but he doesn't care. I've contacted the company several times and get no response. Had liferoom installed 2 years ago . It was damaged by a fallen tree. It took 2 weeks for someone to come out and assess the damage then another 2 weeks to get the estimate for insurance. I promptly paid 50% of the cost and no one can tell me when the repairs can be done or even if the parts have been ordered. No one answers their phone even during normal business hours. I am having a problem with a leak in my sunroom. 2 engineers came to look at it. They don't seem to have any knowledge about how to fix it. They both promised to get back to me but they never did. Now they just don't return my calls. Customer service is nonexistent. Don't use this company. Hire an architect to build a proper room. read more

We really love our Sunroom. I've been super impressed with the quality.

Don't do business with them. My wife and I contracted with one of their franchises over the summer. Even getting things started sucked. Helen takes forever to return calls and emails, and while they are open during regular business hours - you'll never get them on the phone. Within a month of contacting them, we decided to cancel our contract. Only because we decided to sell our co-op. It's been 7 months since and we have yet to get our deposit back. When we first cancelled we were promised the return of our funds within 10 days. Since then they've only given me excuses. The main franchiser has gotten involved and we've yet to have resolution. The location that ripped us off specifically stated that they were in a legal battle with Holbrook which was why they can't give us our money back. Use them if you don't care about when the job gets done and if you don't care about getting your funds back. read more

The absolute worst customer service! We bought our windows from a local franchisee 13 years ago. That franchisee went under and we have had hell trying to get our continually breaking windows fixed. Get this, even customer service says their franchisees are not beholden to the requests of corporate requests! That means any fool who purchases their product, based on the warranty, gets screwed when it inevitably comes time to repair their substandard product. It typically takes me three months to get someone out to fix our windows. Corporate customer service does not respond, (888) 392-3395 and I have had to result to social media bombardment to get them to follow through on their promise of fully functioning windows!
