    Chicken taco.

It had been awhile (thanks, Covid) since I'd been to Four Winds, and I was SO excited to see that they were open when I was visiting the area last week. Luckily, it was right around lunchtime so I was able to snack some of their delicious, house-made tacos too. While, sadly, my beloved Oat Stout wasn't on tap (I don't even know if they make it anymore and forgot to ask!), the Pale Ale I tried went well with the spicy tacos and the warm summer day. What I always loved about Four Winds is still there: the cheerful setting, friendly staff, industrial-meets-hipster vibe, and friendly patrons. Since my last visit (which was probably at least 4 years ago) they've also expanded their indoor seating area and added a large "parking lot patio" for outdoor seating. When in (or even near) Delta, this is a great stop for lunch and a beer. Bonus for their cool swag, too!

Located in an industrial side of River Road, Delta. There's plenty of parking. The place is small but they have an outdoor area. They have a good selection of brews and will have some for you in any occasion. The food menu changes every now and then but I've always had the tacos from here and they are always delicious! It's not your traditional approach, it's more like a fusion. You won't be disappointed . The service is great and the hosts are friendly.

This place is all positive. Great food and great beer. I came here with two other friends, B and S. B said the beer here are exceptional. I got the burger here and omg. It was super tasty. It was somewhat over priced but I really liked it. I had mine with cheese. The cheese is not just a slab of cheese thrown in the burger. But they actually grill the cheese with the beef making it super delicious. The burger came with chips and salsa. Everything was made inhouse. The chips were amazing. Salsa was delicious. B said his chorizo burger was a bomb. They have patio seats outside and there are a few seats indoor as well. We will definitely come back next time.

Great beer, food and service. Family friendly and clean. Would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Great beer and small plates. tacos were delicious! The variety of flavours and diversity of tastes is well thought out and complimentary.

Decent but pricey craft beer place in the Delta area. This brewery is located somewhat in the middle of nowhere, so for me it was a bit of a trip out. Parking is plentiful in the industrial park lot. Be sure not to park in the Minuteman (adjacent business) spots. There are signs all over warning about this. The place is somewhat modern and hipster. Lots of vintage looking wood paneling. Looks surprisingly similar to Steel & Oak in New Westminster. Not sure why there's a humidity problem, but the entire place was stuffy and fogged up when I was there. Hopefully they fix this. Staff were friendly and helpful. As of the time of writing, they had 8 brews. Easy to clean out the place with 2 flights. Pricing is noticeably higher than the local competition. In this respect, this brewery again reminds me of Steel & Oak, and not in a good way. Knock one star off. To be honest, nothing about the beers really stuck out. Looks like they're going the hoppy route overall. Worth checking out if one is in the area, but not worth the trip out. If I were in the area I would suggest Fuggles & Warlock (Richmond) instead).

    Great vibe outside.

When the weather is nice this is a great spot. Gotta sit outside! Good set of beer choices.

Okay. I'm blaming this review to the pandemic I looked the menu and Pictures. I was so excited ( last night and before I go). Until they cannot serve my food only these 2 pages of their menu I was disappointed. Honestly. Beers were fine I like the oat porter the best from the rest.

I'm sure you've heard of and had Four Winds Brewing Co.'s famous, award winning nectarous dry hopped sour beer. They're located in an off the beaten path, random Delta plaza that also houses a Subway. We've been twice and both times it's been to a packed house. The tap room is bright, airy and roomy (they've expanded so there's even more seating). There's about a dozen seats at the U-shaped bar. Service is friendly; go up to the bar to order your drinks and food. There's 12 beers on tap along with a few ciders (Left Field, Nomad and Dominion Cider) and wine (Arrowleaf) options. The food menu consists of tacos and tapas. A couple beside us ordered several tapas dishes; all looked and smelled great. Their beer fridge has a mix of cans, bottles and packs. A couple speciality bottles looked intriguing (Pomona and Bramble) but wish you could sample these beforehand. Those were both $15.00 each. The merchandise is minimalist but carefully crafted; hats, growlers, beer openers, glassware and shirts. Trip #1 We dropped in on a Thursday afternoon (around 2:00pm). - Flight ($6.00 for 4) - operis (Brett saison), la maison (wild saison), fog zombie (hazy double IPA) and pluum (blended plum sour). Interestingly, the fog zombie was a collaboration with Bellwoods Brewery. All the beers were decent but we didn't love the plum beer as much as we'd anticipated. - Cachete ($4.25) - confit beef cheeks served with salsa roja, onion and cilantro. Beef cheeks were tender and flavourful. The salsa roja had a sharp unexpected heat to it. - Vélo ($14.00 for 6) - they were out of this on their beer taps so we bought a box of cans for home. Nothing particularly memorable. Trip #2 We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon (around 4:00pm). - Flight ($6.00 for 4) - huftgold (German style pilsner), nectarous (dry hopped sour), triplicity (Belgian tripel) and mild (dark mild). The huftgold tasted like every other German beer we've had; light in flavour but easy to drink. Nectarious is still our favourite beer of Four Wind's; tart, crisp and slightly sour. Triplicity was better than expected; smooth, lightly malty flavour. Mild tasted like a watered down coffee stout. - Baba ganoush tostada ($4.25) - toasted pine nut, cottage cheese, chive, sour cream and paprika. Tostada is crunchy. Flavours combine harmoniously together for a couple of tasty bites. Who would have thought baba ganoush would work? - Lamb leg ($4.25) - flour tortilla, chimichurri aioli, onion, radish and cilantro. Lamb was tender and juicy (literally juice flowed out upon first bite). Normally, we prefer corn tortillas over flour but this worked well with the lamb. Tortilla was lightly toasted. If you're in the 'hood, go check FWB out. Solid tacos and cheapest flight we've come across.

Great outdoors seating area. No tasting flights at this time due to covid but did buy a case of 4 of the Nectarious and I definitely have to say it's one of my all time favourite sours.

Great beer and great tacos. Honestly, what more could you need? I'm thankful that this brewery is a short distance from my house, since most of the best breweries are in the Vancouver core. Sometimes a girl just needs a beer and taco fix, and I'm happy that I can easily get to Four Winds to satisfy my craving. I've tried all their tacos now and all of them are delicious. I can't really pick a favourite because honestly, they're all good. But if I really had to, I'd say the fried plantain taco and the duck and potato taco are my top two. I've also tried a few different sandwiches - their tapas menu is always changing, so I've never had the same thing twice. As far as beer goes, I'm a huge fan of IPAs, so their Wild IPA is by far my favourite. Their Belgian White is also great, but defintiely more hoppier than the Wild. I've also tried their dry hopped sour, which was quite good. Small space, but they're able to utilize the space they do have and create lots of seating at the bar and along the windows. Friendly staff who have a great beer IQ and give great recommendations. The crowd out here is a bit different than your typical Vancouverite beer snobs - it's a bit of an older, industrial worker crowd, which is a bit refreshing. Love coming out here and will keep coming back for more IPAs and tacos.

Love this place! The beer is awesome, the tapas are so delicious & the staff are so friendly! The ambience is great inside and they have a large tent with beautiful lights and heaters outside. Must try if you love beer.

We opted to sit at the bar and enjoy couple drinks while watching NFL game. The beer menu isn't huge. But I think there is enough variety that will make most beer drinkers happy. I had lite beer while my significant other had citrus wheat. Next time, I will probably order Citrus wheat as well. It wasn't too sour but had little bit more flavour that the lite beer. They also have other cocktail drinks that are not beer. (TBH, I am not a beer drinker... so I might try negroni next time). As for food, they only have flat bread. We were told that they will have pizza on the menu as well in near future. Would I come back? Yes. I would come back and try other drinks.

I've never seen fries cut like this- as if potato jojos/wedges and twirly fries had a brain child?? Tasty though! The fish was crispy on the outside and I loved that it came with lemon AND there was malt vinegar on the table (and it came with tartar sauce too!) Perfect triple combo in my opinion and I didn't even need to ask. Coleslaw was great- not too much mayo or celery seed or anything weird. Just a good scoop of salad. I thought it was a mirage at first, but I walked up and touched it so I knew it was real. And it was exactly what we needed after a not insignificant amount of walking around Vancouver (we were touristing) and it was lunch time. Stanley Park Brewing is larger inside than it appears outside. With its outdoor seating and multiple public and private dining rooms its footprint is roughly the size of Rhode Island. (ok, maybe not THAT big...but it is expansive). Stanley Park Brewing is located not far from the entrance to Stanley Park so the views and the surroundings were all very beautiful. A tall clump of trees over here, a some flowering bushes over there...just lush greenery in every direction...and tennis courts. The entire area was clean and well maintained. When we arrived we were told there would be about a 15 (US) minute wait, but that 15 (US) minutes turned into about 5, as we were seated almost immediately at a table adjacent to the bar. The weather was amazing that day (about 72° F) so all the doors and windows were open so there was plenty of fresh air and a nice breeze. Our server arrived with cold water (muchly needed!) and gave us the beer and food menus. Congo and I opted for a flight of beers and the Smokey Island pizza because the maple candied bacon bits, charred pineapple, and jalapeño caught my attention. (Relax, people, it was personal pan pizza size.) For my flight of four I chose: SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale, Waypoint Hazy Pale Ale, Parklandia Hazy IPA, and Noble Pilsner. Each was very good with its own unique tastes and flavour palettes. Our food orders took about 15 minutes to arrive and the food was hot and accurate. The Smokey Island pizza was *Chef's Kiss*, while the SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale from my flight was so good I had to get a pint as well. Our server (Jordan) who was also the bartender.
