Looking for dog friendly place to eat lunch. Their outside turf patio was perfect for the furbaby. Picnic table seating with umbrellas so good for nice weather days, not so much rainy. I ordered their spicy chicken sandwich and pulled pork tacos. Wifey got the chicken and waffles/ and a flight of beer. The flavor of the chicken sandwich was very good, excellent ratio of filling to protein and the pickled veg they used was tasty and cut through the heaviness of the fried chicken. The breading on the chicken was super crispy and tasty. The chicken itself imo was a bit dry but with all the sauces and accompanied fillings it's OK. Wifey has the same comment on the chicken as it is the same as what would be in the sandwich. Good crispy outside and tasty but dry. The waffle style wasn't fluffy it is more the denser sweet kind? So it wasn't her cup of tea but for others she said it may be a good choice. The pulled pork tacos were delicious, very full of pork and sauce on top. I would highly recommend those. The servers were on top of making sure we had our drinks and answered any questions we had. Always made sure our waters were refilled and we're very pleasant at all times. Very good staff! Order the: - Helles Lager. - Truffle Cheese Fries with the "Garlic Dill" dip. - Chicken Wings - do half/half: Sweet Heat & Salt/Pepper. Everything on that list I absolutely loved, and the Lager was one of the best I've had in a long while. The Fries...I could've had another basket and the dill dip....I wanted to take home the container. That's just to get you started. Our rainy day trip landed us at Trading Post Brewing for an early lunch. I ordered the Forester thinking it was a sandwich but it turned out to be a delicious burger. The fennel aioli had a nice kick to it and paired well with the mushrooms and smoked gorgonzola cheese. It was a touch salty for me but overall enjoyable. Nice craft beer place in Fort Langley. Still remember when there was nothing to do (other than the actual fort) in this town. How times have changed. Parking is available on the side streets. Spots aren't metered. Yay! The inside has a rustic look, in keeping with the whole historical theme. Staff were friendly and helpful. The flight was decent. The raspberry wheat ale is nice and tart, and the Norwegian farmhouse ale is nice and citrusy, though I'm not sure which part of the beer is Norwegian. My Daughter took me for a bike ride through the trails at Derby Reach and then to Trading Post for a snack on Fathers Day! It was a great time! The Beer was really Good! It was my first time there & a beautiful sunny day on the patio was perfect. I ordered a flight and every one of the four were great. The snacks were really good especially the bison tacos! The poutine had a little spice to it and it wasn't what I'm used to but it worked. The cheese dip was ok but not my favourite. I'm looking forward to stopping in again at some point this summer especially for the tacos!! read more

As an experienced worker/cook of several years at various restaurants this was a very disappointing experience. Took my family. Upon arrival, my visit to the washroom was challenging, as I had difficulty locking the door. My daughter also had the same issue at one of the other toilets and had two people walk in on her. The food was nothing special and I had an added bonus in by ceasar salad, a hair. The waitress was very good and could see, she felt badly. However, when my daughter mentioned about the washroom door lock, waitress was very familiar with the problem and then argued with my daughter. Makes me wonder what sort of management/owner runs the place? Someone who does not seem to care about the patrons safety and well being? A simple solution to the door locks is to have a fix it guy come in and fit it :) Needless to say, we will never be back. read more

Friendly staff and clean place and nice atmosphere. The live music is a bit questionable..not the best bands at times. The volume can get really loud and it's hard to hear the people across your table. Good food that's tasty and just the right portion. Some drink are nice and some are okay. Quite a few seats but always busy and sometimes a line outside. A bit pricey but overall we had a great night. Wouldn't be my go to but I don't mind going back once in awhile. read more

Tried to get in here a few months ago, but it was packed... was back in the neighbourhood and tried again. Success! No wait, straight to a table. Server was great, options on the menu had me eyeing up a few things that would work for me (repeat visit?), and they have Phillips Soda (Intergalactic Root Beer! Yeah!). I settle on a Voyageur burger w/ salad. It was one of the beefiest tasting burgers I've had short of making it myself. It was amazing! In the top 10 burger patties I've had. The salad was tasty too. This is my absolute FAVOURITE burger - both beef and chicken hands down the very best! Oh and gravy too ... I could drink a glass of it. I first tried it about a year and half ago on a recommendation and was totally in awe from the homemade iced tea to the fresh salad with a zesty dressing and finally the juicy mouthwatering burgers O M F G!!!! Each little piece of the food has a touch of love in it that you can actually taste. It's ridiculously amazing and I just love the food so I bring my friends and family whenever I'm in Ft Langley, hell sometimes I even get take out if I'm just making my way past I'll go out of my way to order this. Fort Langley has always had a small piece of our heart. It's a treat for us when we do go, to stop and have a drink and a small bite at Trading Post. If you are a Caesar lover, go here and try theirs, I am never disappointed! There is always a wide selection of craft beer, although the IPA's our favourite! The service is great, always prompt, and the premises clean, warm and welcoming. We especially enjoy sitting in the enclosed patio. There is a wonderful fireplace out there, and lap blankets are offered if you are cool. Our last visit we had the Falafel Bites and they were delicious! I would recommend these to everyone! Another family favourite are the Garlic Parm fries. If you venture to this quant town, be sure to stop in for a drink and a snack! read more

Trading Post Taphouse and Eatery in Fort Langley was a fantastic find! We had a late Saturday afternoon lunch here, and we were all more than happy with the beer, the food, and the service. We ordered three taster trays, and while all of the beers were very good, the absolute standouts for me were the Dear James SMASH (single malt and single hop) Saison, the Tart Farmhouse (a very nice sour), and the Three Bears Stout with nice coffee and chocolate undertones. We thought this particular flavour profile might make for a great stout float, and our server was happy to oblige with a side scoop of ice cream for $2. Never had a stout float? This one is da bomb!!! Foodwise, we chose to share three different dishes. My kale and red quinoa salad was absolutely fantastic - well beyond what one usually finds in most brewpubs or restaurants. Besides the two ingredients, a little digging produced pickled golden beats, strawberries and blackberries, cherry tomatoes, and goat cheese, all in a fantastic sherry vinaigrette ($14). The salt and pepper wings with dill dipping sauce were off the chart... whole moist wings perfectly cooked ($14). The yam fries with chipotle mayo were, for me, the best I've had... forget all those greasy limp ones that you've tried! These are the real deal ($8). Speaking with the manager, we learned that many of the ingredients are sourced locally by the head chef, who has worked under the likes of Jamie Oliver. I guess all the attention to detail in the kitchen comes naturally... We hope to make it to one of the upcoming Brewmaster's dinners ($45) to check out more of her creations. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were great considering the quality of the food. 1st off want to say that the food was fabulous!!! However, what p'd me off was extra charges .... Toast with the soup (assumed it came with the dish when waitress asked if i wanted it was not advised it was an extra $3.50 for 2 slices of bread with oil on it, and then another $3.50 for carbonated water with a lime wedge that was never refilled. I know times are tough for businesses and $ increases are inevitable do we really need all these undisclosed charges that are not listed anywhere until you receive your bill. Of course as patrons you don't want to make a scene. It's tough on patrons as well our $$$ doesn't go as far as it used to either and if we keep getting over charged on things it's just going to hurt everyone in the end read more

We've been on a month-long Canadian road trip, and this is perhaps the best restaurant we've eaten at all trip. They have gluten-free poutine, and it is amazing! Our waitress was the most attentive we've ever had. She gave awesome food recommendations and comped my husband's soda when she forgot to deliver it on time. The sangria was delicious and so was the beer. We all loved our various chicken sandwiches--even the gluten-free one was amazing. Highly recommend this place! read more

My second time at Trading Post and once again, I had a good visit. It's a busy Wednesday night (but my guess is they are busy every night!). The servers were friendly and full of smiles. They regularly checked in on how we are enjoying our meal and I must say, we most certainly did! Been there twice for brunch and the atmosphere is great, they have done a fantastic job with the decor, the warmth (in the patio) and the furnishings. The food is really good. Unpretentious but original and delicious. I have personally enjoyed the pulled pork waffles and the breakfast bun. I'm a fan of the beermosa but also love their breakfast stout. Didn't want to wait in line at Beatnik and was looking for a menu with more variety and uniqueness anyways, so glad we stumbled across this spot on Yelp. Very cool space with a large, covered patio that has overhead heaters. Known for its beers/taps there were several really interesting of options on their brunch menu. When it came to the meal - amazing tastes, especially the salmon hash and chicken & waffles. Fantastic experience here with my family, accommodated my infant with no hiccups. Excellent drinks on menu from coffee with baileys (called something else) to kombucha to pretty amazing sounding brunch cocktails. I will definitely come back to explore more of the menu and would highly recommend Trading Post Taphouse as one of the top brunch spots in Langley. read more

You get 4 samples for $8.50, so you're better off getting a pint for 7.50 or a 12 oz for 5.50. I think the prices are a bit steep. As for appetizers, we tried the fish tacos and pulled pork sliders. Both tasted great, but the sliders were especially tasty, with BBQ sauce & the right texture. It hit the spot! read more
