There was this stack of old children's books that were falling apart (I love those types of things) and two huge photo albums from at least the early 1900s. Along with a few old treasures, there were some nice modern kind of touristy trinkets, too. I would've left with a lighter wallet if they weren't all so expensive!!! The woman, I'm guessing the owner, wanted $200 for the photo albums and between $30-50 for the children's books that were hanging onto the binding for dear life! Maybe she had an emotional attachment to these items or something but if she wants to sell them, she should lower the prices. Overall, it was a nice store and had cool stuff but it was unrealistically expensive for vintage objects not worth that much. If the prices dropped I would happily visit again!

As is true of most thrift shops, you never know what there is to find. There are large selections of record albums, cds and DVDs. Not sure what kind of market there is for them these day. I took a quick look at the albums. One cover was stuck together and there was the pronounced smell of mildew overall. The back room is full of clothes. And in keeping with name of store, there are odds and ends all over. The owner told me business was good. So apparently there are buyers out there. I might stop back in someday, but this trip didn't really do much for me. I wish the owner the very best of luck.

If you are looking for the following , do NOT BOTHER TO COME HERE: comics, vinyl records, video games . Zero. None. This is a store that does not have a high turnover and donations seem low / slow. On the upside: the ladies that work here are sweet as can be and friendly. Not worth traveling here if you live more than 10 / 20 minutes away. LOOK for the sign they hang outside to see if they are "open", which is not very much.

Traditionally, every "blind box" series has an unknown toy inside of an opaque box, so the person buying one doesn't know what they'll get. Instead of following the traditional narrative, Chosen One opens each blind box, and then labels what they are. If you are looking for a specific piece within a blind box line, this is the place to go to get that exact one. Outside of their great blind box selection, Chosen One has a fantastic (and very diverse!) inventory of all sorts of toys and collectibles, new and old. I like the feel of the salon, neat and cozy. I was helped right away. I liked how my brows were done. I had my upper lip and side face threading done too.
