family of 4 for lunch after a game of golf at NOTL. My spouse and I ordered the chicken souvlaki lunch platter. The Greek salad is not authentic made in house, It's a bottle dressing they get from "somewhere" in Toronto (which found out after I ordered it ). The one skewer of chicken you get felt chewy and smelt foul taking it off the wooden skewer. I asked my spouse and kids to smell it and they agreed it didn't smell right. The waitress came by to ask how was our lunch was and I said to her | think there's something wrong with this chicken. She smelt it and she took both of our plates away right away and said it's gone bad! she came back and told us the chefs threw out the rest of yesterday's chicken and agreed that it was rotten... They don't make fresh chicken skewers every day?? She said let me get you a new plate and I'll put Gyro meat on it instead. It was very salty and it wasn't what I wanted to order, but I didn't want to make more of a fuss.. Our grown kids ordered Gyro sandwiches with a salad/fries and they said those were enjoyable. The waitress came with the bill, but there was no bill just a machine $156 and hit 18% 25% 30% tip, etc. I asked if I could look over my bill and review it. She and said oh you want your bill? When a customer is paying $150 plus on a sit down lunch you should be presented a bill to look over. The waitress and another young waitress who heard all about it from back kitchen apologized for serving rotten chicken but yet nothing was compensated? I still left her a tip but felt ripped off spending nearly $200 on hard earned money for mediocre food that was not even authentic Greek food. I could've got the same or better in a food court. They didn't even take a drink off the bill or even provide a complimentary desert to make things right. I felt they didn't handle this situation very well read more

We stumbled across Fourno's after walking out of another restaurant due to abysmal service... and walked into a delightful dining experience! The two servers were polite, efficient and a delight to interact with. They made us feel more like welcome guests in their homes than customers at a restaurant. The drink selection was limited but I found a delicious local beer and my wife had a frozen strawberry coconut concoction (Miami Vice) that reminded her of her favorite drink from a Caribbean resort. We couldn't have been happier with the food. She had a pasta dish with vegetables (she's a vegetarian) and I had shrimp and veggies over rice. Both were delicious and the portions were very generous. The shrimp were huge but still tender and there were 6 of them where I would have expected 3. The only reason I'm not giving the 5th star is the ambiance. Fourno's is doing a wonderful job taking a piece of sidewalk and turning it into a dining area... love the big umbrellas and the festive Greek music... it's fun to watch people walking by take a moment to dance a bit to the music. Still, you can't help but notice that, despite fantastic efforts, you're seated in kind of a side street and the back lot is a little rough around the edges. Decided on the gyro lunch special The meat was so tender and spiced perfect. We were lucky to find a delicious Greek restaurant with Al fresco dining, perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. Having visited Greece a year ago on our honeymoon, we were familiar with the menu and ordered a village salad and a side of olives and feta, each served with a warm loaf of bread. read more

This is definitely a very affordable restaurant on Niagara on the Lake compared to the other restaurants. My girlfriend and I stopped here before heading back to the USA for lunch and were thoroughly impressed! We started with the garlic bread appetizer, and for the $7 price it was a little underwhelming and I would definitely recommend going for a different appetizer. However, both the Pork Slouvaki and Chicken Slouvaki lunches were delicious! Each was accompanied by a Greek said and a side of tahini dressing. The meat was fork tender, the rice was full of flavor, and the Greek salad was fresh! The service was very good as well! The restaurant is actually downstairs if eating inside, but it felt homey. The moussaka was delicious, and my wife enjoyed the grilled chicken. Probably one of the best Greek side salads that we've had. Great service as well! read more

Food is worst Greek food I've had. Greek salad dressing mostly vinegar. Sangria is mostly pop. Over priced. Music is mostly mid eastern and not enjoyable. Party of four - nobody enjoyed their meal. One star because they added $5 to my bill for paying with a credit card. There was no prior notification of the charge. There were no signs in the restraurant. I just happen to noticed that it on the payment terminal. The server said it was a management decision to code the payment terminal that way with no notification to the customer. Plus we were charged an extra $5 just to add feta to some fries. I have visited this restaurant when in the area before and I will not be returning because of the deceptive methods. read more

I felt like the portions were perfect, not too little and not too much. The service was okay. Despite our waitress being kind, she was pretty slow. I asked her for straws, and I reminded her about 2-3 times. When she brang it, she just touched them with her hands after dealing with other orders and just put them on the table which was already dirty.. was not impressed at that part. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and a pretty cute date night spot. However, I feel like the washroom should totally be renovated. It's super tiny and one would feel so claustrophobic in there. Ambiance: comfy and warm in the basement. However ventilation was not sufficient. Food Quality: pretty standard Service: at once we were going to pull off and leave. Came to NOTL decided to have some greek food with tge family. At first we were told that they were pet friendly on the patio. So we jumped on that. Later to we were told that she would have to be tied up on the fence. So we deciced to do take out. After payiny 105.09$ for 4 people excluding any drinks the food we were not satisfied at all. The portions were tiny. Looked like a 1 1/2 scoops of rice and the greens and potatoes tasted frozen, in which, they claim to have fresh produce to which I beg the differ. Coming from a family who owns restaurants in the United States this food gets a 2 star rating. Unless you are going for a drink or 2 or if you like high prices and hardly a full meal then this place is for you. read more

Stopped in here for lunch during a visit to the area. We were drawn by the offer of Greek salad. We sat out on the patio which was nice enough and off the Main Street but we were placed in a corner staring at a wood wall. We started with garlic bread which was ok, but not out of this world and then followed with a Greek salad. It was tasty enough and the portion was generous but I can't say it was the best Greek salad I've ever had. The wait staff were ok although really eager to get rid of us it seemed. They tried to take our drinks away from us and clean our table even before we were given the bill. I have been here once before and this time around the food was excellent till the main meal came. Our starters were Octopus, salad, grilled veggies and they were all 5 stars. Just fantastic. But when my yero(Doner) I realized it was processed meat. Greeks don't use processed meat!!!! Such a shame as the opening act was so good. read more

The food was excellent. My wife and I shared a calamari and each had a souvlaki, chicken for her and pork for myself. Delicious! As I told our waiter, I am not usually a fan of Greek salad but they did an excellent job and I finished it, and found myself wanting another one. Excellent customer service, staff was very friendly.
