We wanted something more local to Niagara Falls compared to all the chain restaurants. So glad we stumbled upon this place! You wouldn't be able to tell from the outside, but the inside is so cute and cozy! The lemon rice soup was very lemony, very good! We got the Kabash combo and it was so filling! This was my go to spot every time I visited Niagara. I'm not sure if the owner or cooks have changed but the quality of the food really declined from the last time I visited. The restaurant is beautifully decorated though and makes you feel like you're in Greece. read more

Was in the area for the weekend for my birthday and this was very close to out air bnb. They offer Armenian, Italian and Mediterranean menu and it's quite diverse and ample. We were a party of 7 and everyone was very happy with their choices . They offer some amazing deals for sharing with tons of food. The Brie appetizer was delicious. I got the Kasbah plate with beef, chicken, lamb skewer, and lamb kafta. This special comes with rice, pickled radishes and a sauce side of your choice. I got the babaganush but wish I got the garlic pudding which was so tasty. The rice is really fluffy and well seasoned as well as the meats. I also got the calamari which was really lightly battered and tender. We all had plenty of food to take back and it was even tastier the next day. The pita bread is Lighty grilled, soft and so yummy. If in the area definitely check them out. Prices are fair for the amount of food. They also have a very nice outdoor seating area and dessert cafe to go. Total came out to approximately $117 (Canadian) without tip. What's hot - Quality. Absolutely delicious! For the food, hubby and I loved their garlic pudding and babaganoush. Their garlic pudding is so creamy and flavorful. Their chicken shawarma was better than the beef shawarma, because the meat was more tender and flavorful. Everything was delicious, but a few things- like the garlic pudding, babaganoush, and shawarma meat stood out. Their potatoes could've been a little more tender. - Menu variety. Something for everyone- meat, seafood, vegetarian and vegan. - Location. Easy to find and a small parking lot. Also within a short walking distance from the main Niagara Falls tourist attractions. - Layout. There's an outdoor and indoor seating area, which is nice, especially when the weather is nice. Their outdoor seating area is also tented. - Price. Pretty good value for money, especially given the portions of our Kasbah combo. What's not - Service. They're not bad, but it's not great. They may be short staffed. It may also be part of this specific restaurant culture not to rush, however; we waited a decent amount of time for everything. I would recommend this spot as it's great food and great value in the area. It's away from the tourist traps and has free parking. The food is great. The kids menu is great value as the fish and chips are 10$ with a drink and ice cream. Crazy. The adult stuff we got was all very good. We licked the garlic butter clean off with the pita and fries and anything else we could use. The only complaint is the potatoe wedges were a bit under cooked. This place was a hidden gem with a beautiful patio and interior ambiance. Food and service were amazing. Also had a great selection for gluten free options. The price was also great. Unfortunately they can only keep up the greatness for 5 days a week for dinner only. They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. We were planning on coming back but missed our chance. If ever back in the area we will definitely return. We called for a reservation and were seated fairly on time, even though they were super busy and down two servers that night. We appreciated the efforts they went to to provide a positive dining experience. We opted for the kasbah combo. I could talk about each individual item, but everything was so flavorful. There was more food than the two of us could possibly eat, so we had our leftovers for breakfast at the hotel the next day. We dined on their covered patio and it was perfect. The restaurant provides an authentic greek dining experience. We loved the ambiance and really felt we were in Greece. The owner is a great guy and often chats with patrons. Unfortunately, the food was okay as it was too diluted for our palates which was seeking the authentic Mediterranean flavor. We appreciated the empty table between us and our fellow guests, on all sides. 2- Yummy crispy cauliflower with garlic pudding We wished the size of this starter had been a little larger. We were three people sharing and each got two pieces of cauliflower. The cauliflower itself was crisp and not overcooked, tasted nice and was freshly fried. The balsamic reduction was watery which made its flavour less intense. The garlic pudding was tasty, creamy and garlicky but without that sharp bite of garlic. 3 - Super tasty eggplant casserole with garlic yogurt Delicious! Highly recommend! Juicy chunks of fried eggplant in a tomato-y gravy. Perfect to sop up with pita bread. Menu said this was a cold dish, but it arrived warm. (Not a complaint, just a pleasant observation!) 4- Good Greek poutine The dish was comprised of three components - fries, gravy and feta. The fries were nice and crispy. Loved that the gravy was vegetarian. The size of the starter was large, which was also fantastic. Amazing service. Our 6 year old dropped his cheeseburger on the ground, was crying, and the staff was incredibly attentive. They came right over and got him a replacement burger without us even asking. The waitress also took time to ask where we were from and why we were visiting. The food was also amazing!!! We were craving some Greek food and actually took an Uber to another nearby Greek place, however it was closed on Mondays which is when we came. Our uber driver was kind enough to drop us off here instead. The place was pretty much empty, only one other table. Service was good and everything came out promptly. However when I see a menu of that size and with that many items that have nothing to do with each other I get worried. They claim to be Mediterranean, but that's a pretty huge umbrella of different cuisine. Anyways we were in the mood for Greek and Greek would qualify as Mediterranean so that's what we ordered. Started with saganaki and some stuffed grape leaves. The saganaki was good, not the best, but it's hard to go bad with flaming cheese. The grape leave on the other hand, while they had decent flavor, they were hot and the texture of the stuffing was off. Usually it's a nice light dish, I found these on the heavier side and not what I was expecting. For our entrees I had the gyro wrap with a Greek salad. My girlfriend had the chicken wrap with garlic potatoes. First of all my Greek salad had balsamic vinegar on it, not what I expected. Not bad, but not what I wanted when ordering a Greek salad. The gyro was on a much thinner style pita, if you can call it that. It was good, however it was more like a pita salad because it had 2-3 small pieces of meat. I'm use to gyros with so much meat i have to pick some out with the fork before I can actually eat it. If I had ordered a pita salad it would of been great, however I wanted a gyro, that calls for meat, this had none. My girlfriends chicken pita was the same though a bit more meat than mine. Overall rather disappointed. Maybe the do better at other Mediterranean food, but don't come here for Greek. read more

Pros: service was good. Friendly wait staff. Food was tasty and fresh. Location is right outside of the Clifton Hill tourist location so the surrounding area is quieter. Free parking. Cons: Pretty expensive for a gyro. They were $17 each! My mousaka and the gyros my family ordered were pretty cheap on the meat content, especially considering the price. (We normally pay approximately $12 for a gyro with fries at home in NY. This gyro is served with a salad or rice. read more
