Every time I go there the service is great the pricing on the other hand need to be looked into

Joseph Wendt ("Joe") was my car salesman. I was going to buy a vehicle from another dealership who decided to play some shady games. I happened to see the same car at Fox. When I called Joe, he immediately gained my trust, and proved that he was clearly worthy. He got the job done in less than 24 hours. I am now driving around in my beautiful brand new black on black Buick Envision Avenir, and loving every minute of it! Joseph Wendt is THE MAN! He's truly a professional! Also big ups and kudos to the Finance Manager, Dennis! They both took all the time I needed to explain anything I didn't understand no matter how elementary it seemed. I have purchased cars in the past and by far this was the best experience I have ever had. My Sales Representative was Joe Wendt and our Finance Specialist was Helen. They never acted pushy and they both seemed to be honest and trust worthy. Fox Buick GMC is more concerned with you leaving with a solid vehicle and not with a lemon. I had visited previous dealers earlier in my search and all of them tried to push me out the door with vehicles that had major issues. Another dealer tried to convince me that an engine issue was a simple right front tire problem. Yet another dealer tried to sell me a car that whenever you turned the steering wheel, there was an awful shrieking noise. Joe did an excellent job assessing my needs. I went in with a specific idea of buying a Chevy Silverado. While waiting for one to come from the back that I could look at, he suggested I try driving a Ford F-150 just to pass the time. As it turned out, that was the best vehicle I had driven on my multi-day search. In the end, I went back to Fox and purchased that truck. I would highly suggest this dealer and in the next few years when it is time to replace my wife's car, I will inform Fox well in advance so they can keep their eyes open for what we need. I will definitely use them for all my car purchase needs. If you can get Joe, I highly recommend him. read more

I have been looking for a Buick dealer in the suburbs north of Detroit since I moved back with no luck. I was use to a wonderful dealer in Monroe that helped me keep my 2001 Saturn going. Only fixed what is needed and get me a car while they do it. Since I moved to Farmington and needed a sensor replaced, I decided to try here. When I called to make the appointment on a day I took off, I told them I would need a ride home and maybe a loaner if it can't be fixed that day. I was told I would be put down for a loaner with no questions. When I dropped off the car, I added that I wanted them to check the brakes since the car is 6 years old. I got a loaner and was told if they had been out, I would have been put in a rental car for just a $50 deposit that would be refunded. It did take until the next day for the car to be looked at because they were backed up. The brakes were fine. They checked the different fluids and other systems. Since I understand about basic maintenance which I have done since I got the car almost 2 years ago. I agreed to all except the spark plugs because I thought it was high and for that price I might even do it myself since my 4 banger isn't hard. I was told that I could just pick up my car the next day after work. When I picked up the car, it was still clean inside and they even washed the car. For everything I had done, the price fair. I have found a dealer I can trust. They passed my " check the brakes" test. They said they were fine. Other dealers might have just fixed them anyway. Honest ones don't. read more

This place deserves zero stars. I'm writing this review on behalf of my mom. The service department at Fox Buick is absolutely horrible. Per my recommendation my mom went to this dealership to have her car serviced, not knowing she would have to return again a month later for the same issue. Upon her return they gave her the run around, kept her vehicle over night, and referred her to a rental car place since they didnt have any loaners available. They also advised that they would reimburse her for said rental car. Now here we are a month later and her vehicle is again having the same issue, she has yet to be reimbursed and the service deparmetment manager or the general manager will not return her phone calls. read more

I originally leased a 2016 Buick from Sellers but will certainly never do so again, and I would advise anyone against it as well. They previously had some fantastic sales reps but I can say with certainty that is no longer the case. I exchanged several emails with Tim Egan while trying to understand my options on leasing another vehicle. Very quickly it was apparent he was irritated with my requests on pricing and incentives. However, I could understand that car salesman probably get a lot of non serious inquiries and I was able to move past that. It was his final email to me that cemented the fact that I would never work with him. I simply asked a question about the differences in pricing listed on their website versus what he was quoting me. I got a response I'd expect from a pissed off teenager hiding behind their computer screen in an online forum. His response, copied and pasted: "THERE ARE DIFFERENT INCENTIVES FOR BUYING AND LEASING!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE OUT THE DOOR INCENTIVES FOR A PURCHASE ON A 2018!!!!!" Seriously? That's how you want to present yourself to a potential customer? My question was straight forward. I hadn't been at all aggressive or inflammatory in any of my conversation with him. Take your business elsewhere, there are a ton of dealerships in the area. read more

HUGE shoutout to Brendan Beim our Product Specialist! He deserves more than 5 stars! We have been trying to build and order a 2024 GMC Yukon from our local dealership in Delaware since February and have been told they're on hold for now. I reached out to GM directly to find out what is going on. She did not know of any such thing and pointed me in the direction of Fox Buick GMC in Michigan since they had exactly what I wanted. Received an email immediately from Artie the Customer Care Manager that someone would be in touch with me soon. Received a call from Brendan first thing Monday morning and he started the process for us purchasing our 2024 GMC Yukon. We chose text as communication. He was very thorough and thoughtful with asking questions, providing answers, taking pictures of our Yukon through the processes. Talked to Marcus in Finance and he took great care of getting all the details worked out for our financing. Received an email from Diana the Sales Manager to make sure we are getting everything answered. We made the trip from Delaware to Ohio to see family. Today IS the day we made the trip from Ohio to Michigan to meet all of these wonderful people we have emailed, texted, and called all week. The dealership is BEAUTIFUL! Every single person is so friendly! Lots of smiling faces! I honestly was so nervous at the beginning with dealing with a purchase way out of state, but Brendan made this the easiest purchase we have ever made! Sellers Buick-GMC - Farmington Hills - sold me a LEMON. My car has been in and out of this dealership umpteen times being serviced since I got it in February --9 months ago. On Tuesday, I picked my car up after taking it to Sellers on Friday of last week, regarding the check engine light. Sellers outsourced the work, hiring a Chrysler dealership to fix my vehicle. Granted, it is a Chrysler vehicle. The diagnosis came back! The upper radiator hose had a leak (conveniently, this wasn't covered by my warranties) and the cylinder #3 ignition coil needed to be replaced (thankfully, this WAS covered by one of my warranties). I okayed the dealership to fix the issues. BUTTTTTT, 4 hours and $265 later, my check engine light is flashing AGAIN!!!! Sellers stated that they couldn't inspect my vehicle to make sure it had been been repaired correctly because I had picked it up from Suburban. I did, in fact, pick my vehicle up from Suburban dealership but I was instructed to do so. I have a voicemail on my phone, it was left by Andrew Vagnetti (service rep). On the voicemail, he clearly instructs me to pick MY vehicle up at Suburban, pay the bill at Suburban, and to leave the Sellers' loaner car at Suburban. So, Sellers never had any intentions on inspecting my vehicle when it was serviced at Suburban. Also Sellers stated that "any warranty-covered service must be done at a Chrysler dealership", and this is the reason why they outsourced the work, this is a LIE. I have receipts and service paperwork dating back to March 2017, on these receipts it states in detail the work that Sellers Buick-GMC PERFORMED on MY Chrysler 200 and these services were warranty-covered. After an explosive shouting match with Tom Brown (service manager) and Brandon Cave (sales manger) on Wednesday, Sellers Buick-GMC came up with a magical solution! *Abracadabra* send my car back to the Chrysler dealership that keeps fixing all of the wrong things on my vehicle, just to get me out of money. Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Farmington Hills, this is the same dealership that Sellers hired to put two brand new radios in my car after I complained about a USB error (after my third complaint, a $17 USB was replaced and magically my radio started working again). I won't even get into the money I was swindled out of on that situation... Fast forward to today, a new diagnosis came back, my car now needs a multi air actuator-- thankfully, this is covered under my powertrain warranty so it is being fixed at no cost. But two days ago, I paid for the #3 ignition coil to be replaced. (1) This "new" issue should've been identified the first time (2) I feel that I should be refunded some money... these people are doing a rush job fixing my car. I'm not impatient, I can and I will wait for my car to be thoroughly inspected and repaired. I don't need a quick fix. Every time I drop my car off to be repaired that's $100 out of my pocket. If these people would just fix everything that's wrong with my car I would just come out of $100 (one deductible). When I purchased this car from Sellers Buick-GMC, I was in the market to purchase a vehicle that was not going to cause me problems and unnecessary money, granted maintenance has to be performed. AND THIS IS ONLY MY MOST CURRENT ISSUE! Before I paid my first car payment on the vehicle, I had a loaner because the car needed to be serviced-- it has been down hill ever since. During another one of my experiences , Sellers put my heater hose on wrong and it "came off". The car overheated, the check engine light started flashing, and I was stranded on 275 freeway with my toddler, waiting on a tow truck. -- My frustrations begin with Sellers but I do understand that the current situation is not their fault -- because they passed the torch to Suburban. BUTTTT the fact still remains the same, I WAS SOLD A LEMON. read more

Fox Buick GMC - 24 days after purchasing this car, the check engine light was on, the air bag light was on, and the heat was not working... - Car Dealers Near Me - Farmington Hills, Michigan

It started great and ended horribly: First, let me start with the positive aspects. Location: The dealership is easy to find, in a safe area. Appearance: The building appears to be new construction and is well maintained. Initial contact: The dealership was quick to respond to my inquiry and the front receptionist was always very pleasant. Test drive: The car was available to test drive and only required a photo ID. Condition of vehicle of interest: The vehicle had notable, but not significant, exterior damage. The sales person took note and had the condition investigated. Aside from that, the vehicle appeared to be in good condition. Now for the negative: The sales process was laced with blatant, discrimative practices. It actually shocked me because it continued the entire process once I was ready to buy the vehicle. The discrimination was so blatant that the staff lied in front of me and threw one of their salespersons "under the bus" to uphold their behavior. Discrimination is very serious and should be addressed with the utmost urgency, consideration and care. Such practices are not only illegal, but it's just bad business and not American. I really hope things get better at this dealership and no one else has to experience what I went through. Dear misinformed management: Definition of discrimination (Ref. http://www.dictionary.com/browse/discrimination): Treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit. Telling me you can't go a "cent" lower on list price, then telling different two men you'll offer the same vehicle $200 lower and $400 lower than list price is discrimination. If you would like to speak with me, the person that was discriminated against, and tell me your dealership was wrong for their actions (versus when you told my hubby you were wrong), I will kindly accept your call. Lying is not necessary, as a simple apology would suffice. Then the price that I was willing to pay (you know, the $400 less you offered a man) I will pay just as I stated when I walked in with a cashier's check the second time for that amount. I'm not sure why the price I was willing to pay was "way too low" to the dealership if the same price was offered to a man... I appreciate your time and consideration of this matter. I have audio and video documenting the true account of what happened, if you are interested. I'm sure that will clear up a lot of the confusion regarding what actually took place. Incompetent or Criminal - Either Way, Avoid At All Costs I took my car in to have the ignition switch replaced as part of the massive GM recall. The keys were also replaced as part of the recall. However, the keys were not cut properly, and the following week I discovered they only worked the ignition and did not work to unlock the door. So I scheduled a second appointment a week in advance, this time choosing to wait in the dealership while the work was done. After all, how hard is it to cut a key? The high school kid working the local hardware store can manage to do it - right - in only a few minutes, the first time. I learned that the dealership will take almost an hour and a half when they do it the second time. I was shocked to find out that the waiting area didn't resemble a typical dealership waiting area, but rather a busy airport, complete with a café/sandwich shop and about 30 people sitting around waiting for their cars to get worked on. I wished they'd spent the money improving the speed and quality of their service department rather than building another way to take yet more money from their customers while they wait for their incompetent service. While waiting, a service technician approached the woman next to me and suggested that in addition to the small maintenance she'd brought her car in for, that she also needed to do another $400+ dollars in maintenance due to the mileage of the vehicle. The woman politely declined and asked to stick to just what she'd already arranged. The technician tried to bring on the hard sell, where he insisted her car was overdue for these items and really needed to get them done. At which point the customer informed them that she had already had all of those items done, at that very dealership, not 6 months back. The technician unapologetically explained that he hadn't bothered to check the service history of the vehicle, merely the mileage, before insisting she needed the work. Don't visit these guys unless you want to waste your time revisiting them for the simplest of issues (cutting a key) and would like to let their technicians con you into repurchasing the same work twice. read more

I do not normally bother leaving reviews but I am making an exception today. First let me ask you what kind of car service would you assume I had to wait almost 4 hours for? Brake/rotor replacement? Major engine component replacement? Trouble-shooting a mysterious electrical short circuit? Would you believe I waited that long for a standard oil change? Furthermore I could have waited longer but I got the impulse to march up to the service counter to get an explanation. That is when the gals behind the desk ran around 5 minutes until they produced my keys. When I asked for an explanation they simply said they were busy today. No apology given. I went for an oil change and a tire rotation (06/28/2021). Before going to the dealer, i marked my tires to make sure they rotated the tires. Guess what, they didn't. Had i not done that, i would have never known. After the I told them the manager appologized and they correct the problem. Too little too late. Prior to this, I had replaced my tires after 25k mile and was proplexed as to why that was. This explains it. Never going back there again. read more

Great dealership. I go for the free oil changes that I get. They give every 4th one free and my first one was free when I bought my Regal. They have a cafe in the dealership, so while my buying process was quick, I got hungry waiting for the paperwork and Andrew got me some lunch while I waited. The owner came out and personally congratulated me as I was being handed the keys. He then called me a few days later to ask how I felt about the dealer. The owner did this and I couldn't believe it. I shopped on line and Sellers got back to me the quickest. Great dealership that I recommend to anyone. read more

This is a long review, but I felt I needed to share my awful experience. I took the car that I purchased at Sellers in because it was leaking transmission fluid. Shortly after the repair of a transmission cooler line that cost several hundred dollars, the car was still leaking fluid from the same location. I took the car back in and the staff informed me that the newly installed hose had been put on the wrong way, so corrected the issue and sent me on with no charge. I soon discovered the issue was not fixed. Same fluid, same spot. So, I returned. This time they told me that the issue was now the second hose, and after another charge, I was sent home after being assured the problem was resolved. After finding the same red fluid on my driveway soon after, I took my car in for the 4th time. The staff asked if they could keep my car overnight to assure it was corrected and I said yes. A day passed with no update and I called on my way home from work at 5pm. The irony in leaving a message after listening to a recording which said, "reputation is everything," did not escape me. After being told by the staff the next morning that it was now my water pump (which they'd kindly charge me $415 instead of the usual $700), I said, "I can't help but feel I'm being taken advantage of." The service rep responded with, "Yeah, a lot of women come in here and say that." I told him I would be picking up my car and the repair wouldn't be necessary. Fortunately, my father could change the water pump for me at cost ($60), but it became clear after he replaced it that this was not the problem either. Same leak, same spot. It wasn't a huge investment, but I would have been furious if Sellers had - once again - misdiagnosed the problem and charged me for their incorrect assessment. I returned to Sellers on principle. The leak was still there, and clearly not a water pump issue. That visit I met with the manager, and he heard me out. On the 5th trip, they finally got it right (no charge, but also no comment on the additional repairs and sweeping comment about women). I understand human error happens, but 5 trips for the same issue and being charged 3 (counting potential of water pump) of those times is unacceptable. read more

In my experience, good service at a dealership is difficult to come by. This is why I don't mind driving the extra mile to get it. When I was looking to purchase my new Buick Regal Turbo, I naturally started working with a dealership close to home for convenience. After days of phone tag and the runaround, I gave up and called Sellers. My salesperson (wish I could remember his name. Chris?) was able to quote me over the phone and we did much of the paperwork through fax and email. He was so responsive, even though I know he was busy. They didn't have exactly what I wanted, so they got it from another dealership. I found out later it was the dealership i had started working with. How's that for irony? The whole transaction took about 3 days and when I went to pick up my car, it was quick and painless. I just had to sign a few things. I had leased my last car through a credit union, and I just left it there. They handled the turn in process, even though they didn't have to. Sellers is a little far for me to go for regular maintenance, but when it comes to purchasing a vehicle or fixing something major, rest assured I'm going to Sellers. read more

I kept going back because happy with salesman, but no more. I scheduled an oil change for 9AM at 10 AM I asked how my car was coming. I was told it would be 3 or 4 hours before they could get to it-Huh? Told other people came in and they took them ahead of me. Why? because this increases our bottom line. Not learning my lesson I scheduled another appointment months later and asked about replacing parking light bulb. Quoted 72.00$ plus parts. Went to another GM dealer and got oil change for 10.00 dollars less and replaced bulb for 19.98. Good luck with your bottom line Sellers you won't be getting it from me. read more

We came here only because we had such a bad experience at a local Ford dealer while looking for a new SUV. When we arrived, we were instantly treated like family. There was no pressure to buy and we felt very comfortable. Our salesman Jim B. really took an interest in our wants. We ended up getting a terrain sle-2 in April, and then went back and replaced our other vehicle with a Sierra a couple of months latter. I would highly recommend this dealership. read more

Being nice doesn't cut it ... I expect my vehicle to be fixed. Getting your vehicle fixed here is a horrible experience. They tell you it's fixed but it never is which causes you more time spent here. I strongly urge you to make sure it's fixed before paying, request to see any parts they removed from your vehicle, and insist they fix it now instead of setting another appointment. read more

My service experience was bad enough that I am now here to express my anger. I have a 2007 Seirra 1500 pick up that was giving me troubles. The lights on the dash told me that there was items that needed to be addressed and quickly (ABS and Traction control). So I head to the local GM dealer, thankfully NOT were the car was purchased. This would be the first time dealing with their service department. Upon arrival I was not greeted with a smile like some of the other reviews have said. Rather the opposite happened and I was left standing feet away from the circle of good old boys chatting each other up and only exchanging cold stares with me as I waited for anyone to help me. After reviewing my expectations with the service coordinator I left waiting for a phone call. Once I returned, after they called, I found that none of the the fault lights were off. They had me take my truck and return the next day. They said that there was no a loaner avaialble. After I already paid my $800 invoice. I returned the next day to the same cold greeting and left my truck for the day once more, coming back that evening just before close. This time I had to call to see if it was done. Both times no loaner was "avaiable" which was interesting as there is a large lot of cars just out front. Anyways long story short thr exact same thing happened again. No loaner car again! No apology, no customer service, nothing. I work in a customer service based intdustry and if I treated my customers like I was treated I would be out of a job. The mechanic told me they did not replace any parts related to the troubles that I was having. Awesome. I would STAY AWAY if at all possible. They treat their service customer like garbage. read more
